Just getting started. Not sure how to search or set an alert for specific trip needs. Happy to have discounted subscription to experiment. A points option would be great.

Even I can do it!!
I'm not a tech kind of person. This app is easy peasy, almost to easy. It's so easy I often feel like I'm doing something wrong. I get super nervous having to tackle something this huge and so important. I saw the RatePunk add, I believe maybe on FB. I looked it up , from the 1st minute I understood it all... SHOCK I HIGHLY... HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS APP!!! Wait the best is yet to come...the prices are mind blowing...so reasonable!!

Not a very helpful service unless you have flexibility to take at ad hoc trips that are on sale. It wasn’t much help if I was looking for a specific destination or a specific timeframe I canceled.

Needs work
I'm new and just trying it out. However, things that I am likely to cancel my membership over so far is the multiple add on charges. That's a bit excessive, every service doesn't need a charge, i.e. multiple airports search, wholesale/accidental fares, etc. Additionally, the website showing predicted prices initially is frustrating. If I see a price I like and click into it to see more information and the price completely changes to a much higher price, you've wasted my time and now I have to go back and try all over again until something is correct. That's not a service I find worthy of paying for, there are other sites that offer the same services for similar pricing that I've used and so far that have proven better. I am still giving this site an honest try, but currently I'm at a 4 out of 10 on satisfaction.

Hello Kristin,
Thank you for giving RatePunk a try and for sharing such detailed feedback. We understand why both the additional offers and changing flight prices can affect your first impression of the service.
RatePunk offers different plans and optional add-ons with additional features. These extras are completely optional, are not automatically added to your account, and must be actively selected and purchased. Their pricing, billing periods, and renewal conditions are displayed during checkout and can also be reviewed in our Terms & Conditions, welcome email, and RatePunk dashboard. We appreciate your feedback about how these options are structured and presented, as we’re continuously working to improve the experience.
Regarding flight prices, fares and seat availability are controlled by airlines and booking providers and can change very quickly. RatePunk does not process the flight booking itself, so when you select a deal, you’re redirected to the relevant airline or booking provider where the current live fare is displayed. We understand how frustrating it is when that price differs substantially from what you initially saw.
If this is happening consistently, we’d like to investigate specific examples rather than have you repeatedly search through unavailable fares. Please send us the route, dates, and screenshots showing the RatePunk price and the price after clicking through at hi@ratepunk.com. Our team can review what happened and help make sure you’re getting the most out of your subscription.
Best regards,
RatePunk Team

Hello there,
We’re sorry RatePunk hasn’t been as useful as you expected. The deals available can vary depending on your departure airport, destination, travel dates, and current airline availability, and we cannot guarantee that every fare will always be lower than those available elsewhere.
If you already know where and when you want to travel, you don’t need to rely only on the deals sent by email. In the app, go to Flight Deals → Search and enter your departure airport, destination, dates, and number of travellers to look for a specific trip.
We also recommend creating a Price Alert under Alerts → Create alert. You can specify your route, dates, number of travellers, and cabin class, and RatePunk will monitor that trip and notify you when suitable fares are found. The number of general deals you receive can vary based on available fares, so a personalised alert can be more useful when you have a particular journey in mind.
If you’re having trouble finding or setting up your intended flight, please contact us at hi@ratepunk.com and we’ll be happy to help.
