DONT WASTE YOUR TIME! SCAMMY!

I recently had a less than satisfactory experience with RateMyApprenticeship. The site offered a £5 Amazon voucher as an incentive for submitting a review, which seemed like a win-win situation at first glance. However, the reality was far from straightforward.

After submitting my review, I was informed that there was a minimum word count requirement for each response to be eligible for the voucher. The platform stipulates a 50-word reply to each question, which sounds reasonable at first, but upon closer inspection, some of the questions are simply closed, requiring only a yes or no answer.

This creates a situation where the user is forced to artificially inflate their answers to meet the word count, which not only devalues the authenticity of the review but also misleads users about the terms of the promotion.

This lack of clear communication about the terms of their promotional offer and the convoluted requirement for basic questions feels somewhat underhand. It appears that the intention is to encourage more detailed feedback, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired.

As such, prospective users should approach this platform with caution and be aware of these nuances before investing their time in submitting a review. I've requested my review and personal data be removed from their platform and would advise others to be wary of these practices.

While the platform's core idea of rating apprenticeships is beneficial, this sort of practice detracts from the user experience and can leave users feeling deceived.

Waste of time leaving a review on ratemyapprenticeship

Having spent 20 minutes leaving a review as they said they would give £5 amazon voucher for a completed review, they accepted the review, but said my review was ineligible for the voucher as the comments should be at least 50 characters. When completing the review it said you could only enter a maximum of 50 characters in the boxes!

This is a scam site. Avoid.
