I emailed them to return an order. I never received confirmation of said cancellation but just assumed they received my email.

They did not receive my email and the order has shipped. In a very aggressive, haughty manner an employee named Leslie said there was nothing they could do for me. Talk about bad customer relations.

plants arrived mostly broken and a LOT of dead leaves. They shipped on Monday and were opened on Friday. They should not have looked that bad, but they were packaged poorly and could not have been very good shape when they were shipped. I've purchased a lot of plants through the mail and if they are healthy when they ship, they don't arrive looking this bad.

I ordered six Verbana plants from Rare Roots, 4 red and 2 purple. They arrived in a few days and the two purple look great but the four red ones were a little faded looking, and leaves were brown edged. I took pictures and sent them to rare roots and received a prompt reply the next day telling me to contact them further if there were problems with the plants. Later that day also received another email from rare roots, advising me on how to cut back the plants so that it might have a better chance of living. The weather cooled and it rained some so I was positive. All the plants would make it. I found that the least healthy plant did not make it. I sent another email and received a prompt reply that they would send me a replacement plant. Two days later I received very healthy looking plant as a replacement. I thought that rare roots offers fantastic customer service, good prices, and fast shipping. I highly rate them.

Received 5 plants in quart containers. They were skimpy and each had 1 stem and tiny root ball. A pint size plant in a quart container. I received the same variety a day later from another vendor and plants were more robust BY FAR for less money.

I’ve made two large purchases, one last year and once now. Both shipments were perfectly and securely packed with no shipment damage at all. Both were shipped promptly and arrived in three days from shipping. And the plants were beautiful, with one exception this week: one plant in a set of three looked weak to me. I sent a picture of it to them and they shipped a replacement free immediately. I could not have been more pleased with their products and service!

This is a wonderful nursery specializing in vigorous beautiful plants shipped with the utmost care. They are by far the best I have found while designing my new garden after our move. They take pride in their plants and bend over backwards in their customer care. The best of the best

I ordered some Kniphofia plants from this company and got a GREAT deal. They sent me nice BIG and HEALTHY plants. Their selection was a bit limited, but the lady I spoke to did say this was their 1st year of doing online sales. They've had a "brick and mortar" business for decades, but COVID has prompted them to do business in new ways.
