disappointing

find their accreditations unreliable. amazing how many quiet mark products get customer reviews regarding excessive noise. got in touch with the noise abatement society who took my number and advised someone from quiet mark would phone me for advice but no one called. they also don't reply to emails despite having an email contact on their website.
I think the reason it's so difficult is that how sound is perceived is particular to the individual, two people can hear the same sounding appliance completely differently and sound is also affected by the setting and the acoustics. Also no two of the same appliance sounds exactly the same.
