To other readers of this review - this is a concocted negative review placed by an ex-business associate of the CEO of Coinburp who is a competitor. Seemingly they think this is good business for them. Do also note the reviewers one only other review. A 5* review for Coinburp last year. We're sorry you feel this way about our service to you as we work hard to provide efficient and timely service to all our customers. In summary as we understand the issues you raised are;

1. That the account opening was a long and tedious process.
You registered for an account with us on the afternoon of the 17th Aug. As you didn't follow the instructions given for the selfie photo you had to re-do it but nonetheless your account opening was completed the following morning on the 18th. The selfie process isn't particularly difficult but it is fairly exacting and the reason we have it is to protect people from having their ID documents stolen and used to perpetrate identity theft. Our account opening processes ensure that the person in the ID docs is the person applying for the account. Account opening is certainly one of the most manual and time consuming process we have but it is a one off event and we would do a dis-service to our customers and to ourselves if we take shortcuts. Bottom line is if you follow the account opening process correctly everything is swiftly executed. If you make errors then they have to be corrected manually which of course takes time. Despite this your account opening was completed within one day.

2. You had to chase for your bitcoins after a transaction.
You placed an order at 2.15pm on the 26th Aug but didn't complete the order process by clicking the button telling us you had sent funds. Unless you do that the order will expire (theres a countdown showing time to expiry) and we therefore won't be looking to execute it. Once it had expired you raised a trouble ticket at 2.57pm asking about the order and we located your funds and restarted your order such that bitcoin was on the blockchain by 3.11pm. We then advised you why the order hadn't been executed in a response to your ticket at 3.15pm. Where customers allow trades to expire we do regular cash reconciliation to identify if this has happened so these issues do always get corrected. Bottom line is if you follow the order process correctly everything is swiftly executed. If you make errors then they have to be corrected manually which of course takes time. Despite this your order was executed within the hour.
