Service so bad it's shameful. Wifi cuts out multiple times per hour, sometimes in quick succession. Network speed is wildly inconsistent at all times of day, and sometimes downright unusable. Seems to... See more

Worst ISP I’ve ever dealt with
Worst ISP I’ve ever dealt with, and I thought cox was pretty bad, so that’s saying something.
Their service stopped working 5 minutes after the installation tech left. Meanwhile I have a sales lady who showed up at the end of the appointment from quantum trying to get me to switch to AT&T for phone service while I’m missing an 80 person critical business call I was supposed to be hosting because my internet is down. They can’t get the tech to come back, and they won’t send someone to re route the outdoor optical cable back to my old ISP’s box, so I had to learn how to do that today on the fly. Complete disappointment.
Quantum Fiber outage 4-10 at 23 am at…
Quantum Fiber outage 4-10 at 23 am at my home near W Chatfield Ave & S Garrison St in Denver area. No reported outages. First service appointment is 4 days out on 14th. Guaranteed that they get technician immediately after 6 am phone call or canceling Quantum. Not living without WiFi for TV & iPhone for 4 days!!!!!!!!!!!
Scam
Unfortunately, I can't give a 0/5 stars. Missed 2 appt, I waited a total of 7 hours, cleared my schedule twice, and still nobody show up to set up my internet. Customer services constantly downplay my situation and it took 1 call and 3 chats to finally get a refund.
Good luck if you need service. They told us nine days later was the first appointment!
Quantum Internet gets two stars because while it worked, it was great. I did not get dropped service and speeds were awesome. The price was also right. But when we clipped our line with the lawnmower and called to book a service technician, they said their earliest available appointment was nine days away. Nine. Days. Later. Seriously? I called the next day and cancelled them. Appalling customer service. None of their phone numbers worked, either. You end up having to chat with someone on their chat line and the chat box kept closing. Brutal. Not worth a few bucks savings.
If I could give 0 stars I would
If I could give 0 stars I would, ever since ATT bought Quantum the service is trash, customer service is horrible, the person I spoke to in Spanish wasn’t much help, there’s nothing they can do on their end to restore service, called today 04/06/2026, won’t get a technician in a week and a half, I mean we only used internet to work from home, the guy respond to the wait for a technician is that a lot of people are having issues in my area which let’s me know their service is caca ( trash) also they are pricey, stay away from these clowns, go with spectrum it still caca, but at least they are faster with their services. Why do we pay for crappy service.
We switched over to Quantum fiber less…
We switched over to Quantum fiber less than a year ago. We had an outage which was a problem on the outside. It took days for the technician to come out and fix it. The wire is still above the ground waiting for it to be buried. In the meantime our internet went out again. It always takes them days to come out and fix it. So not happy with Quantum fiber
Awful connections and worse customer service
I have the "service" for less than one week. Line is not even buried yet. Terribly spotting service. I have used chat for customer service as it is always after office hours when I have the time to call. Can't fix, tell me to contact my device manufacturers. Awful experience. You get what you pay for
Absolutely disappointed
Absolutely disappointed, we are going to change as soon as possible.
Quantum fiber and their customer…
Quantum fiber and their customer service is the worst thing I’ve ever experienced. For starters, they kept changing our date to get the wifi installed without even telling us. We had to continually call them to figure out what day would work best for THEM. then once installed, our wifi stopped working after 5 days of using it. I called them and explained that I can’t miss my classes that week or else I’d fail the class. (I had an intensive class that last from 8 am to 5 pm in my grad school program) they said the earliest they could fix the wifi was three days later and there was nothing they could do. I decided to cancel our wifi and get a new one since I couldn’t miss any of my classes. They told my husband and I that we had to pay for the FULL MONTH of wifi even though we only used 5 days of it. And the cherry on top was that we had to PAY to send their equipment back to them.
If I could give zero stars I would
If I could give zero stars I would. I was consistently getting only 25mb of download paying for 1G of fiber. Their customer service makes you feel like it’s designed for torture. Had an appointment for a tech to come out from 11-2. Didn’t show and said he was an hour late. Waited until 7pm then they canceled the appointment and asked me if I wanted to schedule another one a week later. I would do anything in the world to stay away from them it’s honestly criminal.
Absolute trash
Absolute trash. When it works it’s great. But I depend on my internet for home security and every month I have it randomly go out for days and calling customer support is a joke. When you do get someone answer it’s some call center and they don’t understand normal polite English and they are rude and can’t help and then when you do get someone who speaks normal English they refer you to a different number that is almost always disconnected. Trash service and would not recomend
A Month and a Half Later and Still No Internet
I closed on my house late last month. Before I even signed the papers, I was scheduled to get set up with internet. The tech showed up to my house, but never came onto my property. She circled around my entire block before telling me that she can't set me up because there were trees three houses down from me that were in the way and that it would take 5 to 7 business days. I rescheduled 2 weeks out thinking that they would have to be done by then. She shows up to my house, confused, and says "I've been to this house before". I tell her, "Yes, you have." And then she continues to tell me that nothing has been done for my house. She calls her supervisor and says they are essentially putting a rush order on it. HAHAHA they did not! A new tech, a guy this time, shows up. My walls are solid concrete and he is having a hard time drilling through my walls. About an hour in, he looks over and says that actually there is a hole right here and I will just use that one. This guy was at my house for 3 freaking hours. After 3 HOURS, he says sorry, they can't connect me today because the contractor only pulled the line to my house half way. The box outside of my house that he drilled into my wall is barley hanging on. TODAY, ONE WEEK LATER, they message me saying they are ready to reschedule but they are only available 2 weeks from now. IT HAS BEEN A MONTH AND HALF. I hung in for $40 internet, but I'm so concerned about the quality of the internet and their customer service. I guess you get what you pay for. If you live in Southern Utah, just go with InfoWest. Pay the extra $20 and be happy.
UPDATE: After continued delays and failed installation attempts, I filed a complaint with the Federal Communications Commission.
Shortly after, my appointment was changed without my consent to a time I am unavailable due to work. I was not contacted beforehand to confirm availability.
At this point, this has gone beyond simple delays and reflects ongoing issues with communication, coordination, and service delivery
i wanted a cheaper service as i felt…
i wanted a cheaper service as i felt bled out by cox, quantum fibre are the worst, and i hadn’t even got their service I cancelled prior to having it installed, bc the representative marlon, couldn’t help me with the tv package options, even tho 4 weeks prior, i ordered with him what i wanted as far as a tv package. I called back a week prior to the installation, and Marlan, said he couldn’t help me with a tv package, which i thought was strange, he said he would call me back, he didn’t, so the day prior to installation, i called Marlan again, and he said he couldn’t help with a package until i got the installation. That didn’t suit me, so i tried to cancel, Marlan, couldn’t help with that, said i had to go thru the quantum app. which was a pain, i had to call a number , that didn’t answer, and so now i’ve called quantum, and i’m told by someone who doesn’t speak very good english, that i have to pay a cancellation fee, for even poorer service Cox is expensive, and their prices are out of control, but at lease i can get them on the phone 24/7 and they can answer my questions, and put into action
Wow what an absolute joke
Wow what an absolute joke! Paying quantum fiber 70 dollars has been the most stressful thing I’ve ever done. Installed on the 28th and I haven’t had service last fifteen minutes after a technician leaves. I would not recommend these guys to my worst enemy
There is no longer any customer…
There is no longer any customer service. Everything is through the app, which only works some of the time. We were instructed to wait five days for new pods. In the meantime, we are completely without wireless service in our home.
Not REALLY available in my area
I signed up due to soaring competitive pricing. They touted availability for 1/3 of the price. They took my money and scheduled installation. Low and behold....they need to run a line across the street. Was given a projected delay if 2 weeks. After SEVERAL (more than 2) weeks elapsed, I contacted quantum for a refund. Was told no can do but I will not be billed until after install! Well thank you daddy warbucks! I just received actextva few days stating my install is scheduled for Christmas Day of this year. I guess they will be holding my money for the next 9 months or so. What a raquet.
Service went out told earliest to…
Service went out told earliest to repair was 10 days then they did not show up and then said it would be 5 more days. Whatever you do don’t use them. Service is terrible. Also when we had DSL we only needed the router to get whole house internet now with fiber we have a router and /4 extenders and still doesn’t cover the whole house, worthless internet providers.
If I could give Quantum Fiber negative…
If I could give Quantum Fiber negative stars, I would. I would rather live without internet than to ever work with this company again. We had Quantum Fiber installed at my elderly grandmother's home and during the process they cut her landline – I found other customers online where this also happened to them after a Quantum Fiber install. Her landline is the only way anyone can get in touch with her and is connected to her emergency alert system. When we called to let Quantum know and to try and get someone back out to fix the issue, we were redirected to a separate company that handles property incident reporting – Sedgwick. We were told we would receive a call back to schedule something in 48 hours – 48 hours just to get a call back to schedule a repair for something they messed up? And now we are being told that they cannot fix the issue and that we would need to call the phone provider to fix the issue – which is now costing me $150+ because the phone provide has to make physical repairs to the line inside the residence. Needless to say, we immediately cancelled our service with Quantum Fiber. And my 92 year old grandmother is still without a phone. It should be a crime to be this bad of a company.
Installed my service with a cable…
Installed my service with a cable hanging down over the apartment parking lot next door - cars were hitting it. Didn’t fix it until I called repeatedly to escalate. Service interrupted march 2026 and service appointment made for one week later - with an extremely negative toll on my work. Then they cancelled the appointment because “service was restored” only it wasn’t - so I called to tell them and they set me up for an appointment ANOTHER 8 days later. Horrible company.
Days-long waits with no internet
Customer service is awful. It took four days to get a technician on-site to fix my connection. That’s four days without internet. Then the service dropped out again three days after that. Scheduled a technician for the earliest possible appointment, which was three days later. Technician never showed up. So I’ve had Quantum for two weeks and I’ve been without internet for seven days and counting. I wanted something better than Comcast Xfinity and this is worse.
