Review Title: Extreme Dissatisfaction - Active Obstruction and Professional Negligence

I strongly advise against using Purcell Parker. While they were assigned as the duty solicitor for a serious matter, their advice at the police station was immediately detrimental, instructing the client to "tell all" rather than advising the standard and necessary "No Comment" response, despite clear suspicion.

The most serious issue, however, is their active obstruction of the client's right to choose legal representation.

Key Issues:

Refusal to Transfer: The client formally requested a transfer of Legal Aid to a preferred solicitor (PCB). Purcell Parker has refused to return the signed transfer forms and has repeatedly blocked any attempt to complete the transition.

Court Obstruction: At the Plea and Trial Preparation Hearing (PTPH), where the transfer should have been processed, the Purcell Parker solicitor instead forced the client to enter a plea. This was done against the client's explicit instructions to transfer the case, effectively keeping them on the record to prevent the new solicitor from taking over.

Communication Breakdown: They are non-responsive to both phone calls and emails from the family and third parties trying to coordinate the transfer, contributing to immense distress.

The firm's actions suggest a fundamental conflict with the client's defence strategy and a shocking willingness to ignore the client's wishes for their own procedural convenience. If you value your case and your liberty, I urge you to seek representation elsewhere immediately.
