Having had the pull up mate for 3 years and left outside in all weather conditions during that time it has proven to be incredibly durable and a great investment.
I wanted to vary the range of training so I recently contacted the team to enquire about the monster pull up up bar (PM8) as this was shown to be constantly out of stock online.
I was quickly responded to by Craig who explained that these are now sold based on private quotes due to the need for the delivery of the product by a specialist supplier, due to its size and expense, or alternatively available by collection.
In addition to the monster pull up bar, I purchased the following:
- Dip attachment
- Dip bar close grip adapter kit
- Gymnastic rings
- Pull up mate X - downloadable training and diet plan.

The two packages were delivered promptly as requested.

The PM8 is solid, fits perfectly in place of the previous (rusty) horizontal bar and varies the range of pull ups dramatically.
The dip attachment and adapter kits are terrific for dips in 3 different ranges and removes the need to change the position/height of the PUM.
The gymnastic rings are of high professional quality and
provide the next step to advanced kalisthenic training.
The PUM x diet and training plan was excellent, that included meal recipes and fortnightly diet regimes. The training plans included male and female packs, cardio plan, stretch routines, 12 week transformation planners and best of all a 32 page PUM exercise library targeting all muscle groups.

Five star product, highly recommended for all range of abilities.

I have purchased a Pull Up Mate II with Hang Tough Add-On.
The product is very sturdy, the build and metal quality are great. When assembled with the add-on, it weights a lot, so I can even attach rubber bands to it to pull them sideways. With the add-on, I can hang without my feet touching the ground (I am 189 cm tall).
The delivery took a few weeks due to large demand during the lockdown, but the company kept me informed and was very transparent about it.
A very useful item to have at home, even with the gyms re-opening – both for exercise and just for hanging to decompress your spine after sitting.
Expensive, but this is something you buy for life, and the quality means it will last for many years.

I rated the Pullup Mate II 4 stars because, it works great when doing Pullups etc and assembling is very easy once you've done it 1 time. So far perfect!
But I do have 1 issue with trhe Pullup Mate and that is the instability sideways. I tried to do Archer Pullups as well as Typer Writer Pullups and I stopped after only 1 repetition, because the whole thing moved sideways...

So my tip to the Pullup Mate team, come up with a sollution for this and you would get 5 stars from me! :-)

Excellent service! Love the Pull Up Mate 2 and the hang tough add on. I use it in my own workout routine, take it with me on car holidays and use it when I give bootcamp training to clients. They love it and love to see the progress they make with it.
Set up time is only 10 minutes, which is a big plus too.

Product is excellent.
Arrived sooner than I expected at first.
Quality is remarcable, very easy to assemble.

Our PT instructor uses a pull up mate as part of his classes, that in itself was recommendation enough for us but having ordered the pull up mate with dip bar and rings and beasted ourselves on it for a week we can’t fault the quality nor product at all, it’s great and perfect for home or holiday use where a permanent set up would be impractical

Throughout the order to delivery process we had brilliant and personal proactive customer service contact that went way above and beyond what we would in any way expect, can’t recommend enough

I've bought the PULL UP MATE 2 with the Height Extension Kit, Dip Bar Close-Grip adapter, the extra 10 clips and 8 extra rubbers.

I'm from Portugal and it arrived in a week.

I've just put it together and everything has arrived OK.

Regarding the mounting, for about 3 times I have tought something was wrong but no, I was putting it wrong. Like the left piece on the right or vice-versa.

Only the last clip was really difficult. It took me about 5 minutes only for that one until I got it. Now it's easy :-)

Regarding the quality I can't say much for now since is new and I'm a newbie :-)
but it looks solid. We'll see in a year or so.

Plus I'm very happy I've bought the Mate 2 instead of the 1. It's very stable. I know I'm a beginner but I notice a good different if I don't attach the Mate 2 extra parts.

PS: Since the UK is not in the EU anymore the taxes were 23% on top of the price plus services.
Buying from UK now is expensive :-(
Nothing to do with the product or company. They do warn on the site.

I know there are similar products in the EU for the Mate 1, but not for the Mate 2 and there aren't also the accessories.

I've just put everything on the Bags and they are of good quality.
I was afraid they wouldn't be so good, but they are!
Even the clips of the straps are made of metal and not plastic.

Pullup mate have been excellent. I ordered an ex demo model and the top bar was bent meaning it didn’t quite fit and the safety clip didn’t work. I emailed asking what they could do about it and they immediately responded. They provided completely new parts on next day delivery to replace the broken section which I am very grateful for.

The equipment itself does exactly what it says on the tin, get your pull ups and dips in!

The whole experience from purchase to using the Pull Up Mate 2 has been brilliant.

I’m thrilled to have my own home gym that beckons me every day to workout and try new combos of moves and sets - it’s so versatile! My strength, range of motion, and general well being is increasing the more I use it. The kids even love hanging on it (with supervision).

I have no regrets about buying the PUM2 - in addition, the amount it has saved me by not having a gym membership pays for other good things in life. Thoroughly recommended!

I have bought Pull Up Mate 2 few months ago. First, it came with one wrong part, I have contacted Pull Up Mate team and they have very quickly sent me new parts. In addition to expected Pull Up Mate 2, I also got extra bags, masks and filters for the mask.

The quality of the pull up bar station is superb. Using it everyday and it is staying outside on my terrace. Love the materials, the build and the functionality.

UPS says my package is lost and that they can't contact you guys.

I emailed you guys aswell, please get in touch with me or ups. I just want my pullup bar. This whole thing has left a very sour taste in my mouth and I feel scammed. Ive been waiting for a month now.

I brought a pull up mate 2 and later a hang tough to extend the height of the top pull up bar. I am 6'1" and I can hang without my feet touching the ground which was essentially the key criteria for me. The lower bars (of the hang tough) are good for smaller people to reach and hang from and monkey about on. I keep the pull up mate 2 outside in the garden in all weather and though there has been a lot of rain recently, it still looks in mint condition. When considering whether to purchase the hang tough, I called customer service to discuss my specific needs and had all my questions answered and I subsequently purchased. Very happy with the products and customer service and would recommend to other potential buyers

Update, after a long back and forth with customer service of Pull up mate, they refunded me with the import taxes.
Although the experience was not the best in the beginning, I now get which problems Pull up Mate was facing. Maybe I should be more patient as a customer as well. I'm pretty positive that the replacement parts will arrive soon as well. Pull Up Mate apologized a lot and tried their best to solve this BREXIT chaos. Thanks Pull Up Mate and no hard feelings! 5 Stars next time, one star is missing because a lot of the communication initiative was from my side.

I ordered a Pull Up Mate 2 in March (order number # 1000040755).
The item arrived defective and Pull up Mate assured me that they would send me a replacement part.
They did so, but from that point on, big problems started.
Pull up mate had posted the PM2 on their website at £ 249 including taxes at the time of purchase. The taxes were no longer shown on the final invoice. When importing to Germany, import taxes, customs clearance and a UPS advance service fee were due again, a total of € 87.
At no point did Pull Up Mate pointed out that I had to cover thos costs (this has since been improved on the website).
Pull Up Mate does not respond to my emails and will probably not reimburse me for the additional costs of 87 €.
In addition, they now have sent the spare part in such a way that I would have to pay the import costs again, which I definitely won't because they're shipping broken articles, why would I pay for their mistake?

Conclusion:
- Pull Up Mate adds the cost of the UK tax to the price and does not show the UK tax on the invoice.
- Pull Up mate ships defective items
- Pull Up Mate lets you pay the import cost for the spare parts, although they send defective products.

If you are abroad, I would not order from Pull Up Mate because they did not adjust the prices of their articles with the Brexit and you have to pay a fortune for the import of the articles. To be precise, in germany you have to pay almost 30% on top of the stated price.

Unless Pull Up Mate does not answer my requests to take over some of the import costs which they did not announce and unless they do not take over the costs for the spare parts of the damaged articles, this review remains at 1Star

This company has the worst customer service. I have never left a bad review for any company as I never had such bad customer service before. All they care about selling their products and making as much profit as they can. I contacted them within 4 weeks of my purchase and their customer service advisor just ignored what I said and was not willing to look into the issue or offer resolution. Please think twice before buying from this company

Having made a number of mistakes & miscommunications I have been really happy with the customer service guys who have all showed remarkable restraint & patience. The pull-up mate2 is a superb piece of kit & I can’t recommend it highly enough, if you’re hesitating, don’t, buy one & forget paying gym fees.. Great design, so easy to put together & strong way beyond it appears to be.
