I was threatened, harassed and insulted by Kyle Thompson representative of Mojo publishing company in june of 2024 ,he charged me $1500 for the first part for publishing my book which was designed from scratch by myself and then I texted the my book cover to him just to be little bit modified professionally but he messed up my book cover that's why I lost my trust in him as well as Mojo publishing company completely and when i asked Kyle Thompson to give $1500 credit back to my account he gave me the hardest time of my life and he left a nasty profanity message on my wife's answering machine without any reason,I did officially complained it to customer support of Mojo Publishing company in june of 2024 and also included the disgusting voice mail Kyle Thompson had left on my wife's answering machine but I haven't still had any respond from Mojo Publishing company yet,now my objection is with Mojo Publishing company why should this company hire such uneducated and rude person in this professional company ,anyway I am on the verge of taking legal action against Kyle Thompson and Mojo publishing company for me and my wife going through pain and agony , thread , harassment and insults ,This is Sean Deram and today is July 20 ,2025 ,

WOW!! Thank you Publishing Mojo for being so upfront and transparent about how you do business and putting your customers’ needs over your own profits.
I was contacted by one of your Senior Consultants, Tracy Williams, responding to a form I filled out about publishing my book. She was helpful and informative about a process that I knew little about. She made me aware of the packages offered by PM and the rates for each, while letting me know that the rates quoted were for a limited time.
I worked very hard to get the money together for the package I thought made the most sense for me, but unfortunately, this time of year is a challenge for me, and I was very honest in telling Tracy of this.
But Tracy Williams is nothing if not persistent. She proceeded to contact me day after day, via phone calls, text and email asking me over and over again if I had the money yet. I kept telling her that I was working on it and would let her know if I was successful.
However, Tracy, ever the eager beaver, continued to reach out daily, almost obsessively, almost as though she was a commissioned salesperson and not the Senior Consultant she was.
Finally, I made a bargain with a relative who told me that he’d finance the package, but only if I get an upgrade to be listed on more platforms, which he said was actually a no-cost situation. I checked. It is free to upload to other platforms, only the manuscript would only have to be formatted correctly.
I couldn’t wait to tell Tracy the good news, thinking that it would’ve pleased her immensely. But alas, she said that was not doable, that the rates were set. I was in a jam. I told her that I had to pass. She said fine and I thought that was that, that we were done. That was Friday.
Today, Monday, Tracy reached out to me again. I was delighted, hoping she had gone to the mat for me with her bosses (knowing how tenacious she was) and worked out a deal that could accommodate me while showing their good intentions and support for budding writers like myself.
She asked if I was able to arrange the funds. I replied that I had already told her that the only way I could get them was if I could be bumped to the next package (not the Premium, mind you), and that she had said no.
She again explained to me very patiently and professionally that every platform has its own cost. I told her understood. She then asked if I could do the Basic Package “or not”. I replied, sadly, no.
(This is where it gets good and this is where Publishing Mojo really shines as a company who puts their customers first by hiring only the best people who have their customers best interests firmly at heart)
After telling Tracy I could not go forward (for the 2nd time), she replied, and I quote, “Thank you for wasting my time.”
I had no reply but to say “You’re Welcome”. After all, she did say thank you. I thought it was the only proper and polite response.
Then Tracy displayed an authority and influence I never imagined she had. Her response below:
“I will ask Amazon to not give you any sales on the book.”
“Even if you publish the book you will not get any sales.”
“Mark my Words.” – my favorite.
“I’m putting up the application to Amazon.”
“Have a good day.”
Now I have to ask myself, if Tracy is able to make demands on a multi-billion-dollar company like Amazon with what seems the full confidence of knowing they will follow her directive, why couldn’t she steer Publishing Mojo to make some concession on my behalf? I’ll never know.
Anyway, make of it what you will. I’m just so glad that this last conversation took place via text so that I have the indisputable proof that it actually happened as I described. Now I can share my unique experience with other new writers like myself who are lost in the wilderness of self-publishing and how not to fall prey to unsavory characters. Threats and intimidation have no place in this situation. I would hate for the word to get around about Publishing Mojo. May Ms Williams received the promotion she so richly deserves.

Mojo represents itself to be a U.S. based company. It is not based in San Francisco or Washington State. It is based in Southwest Asia. It did not perform its contractual obligations. My partner and I relied to our detriment. The "Senior Consultant" lacked professionalism, interest, and made myriad of mistakes. Costly mistakes. TRUSTPILOT, I'd be happy to send a copy of our contract. This is a most untrustworthy organization that is flagrantly taking advantage of consumers. I struggled for 5 months to produce a novel and website. The novel came to be - late - and the website has yet to be produced as promised. We missed every deadline. TRUSTPILOT, please do not delete.

We were contractually "sold" 8 Platforms to publish - only 1 Platform came to fruition.

I personally refused to work with Mojo because of their lack of integrity and consistent nonperformance. Oliver also goes by "Duane." It's a scam.

As of June 11, 2024 all services have not been provided. Website is not live and still no platforms other than Amazon. At least 35+ errors in the final book yet to be addressed.

Kyle has helped a great deal. His insights and knowledge have helped a great deal. Thanks Kyle!!!

Manea has been attentive. She has been concerned, understanding and extremely helpful. She has had patience and has showed how much she cares.

This was all new to me and it was quite a learning curve. Carol was very helpful in answering my questions and walking me through each step of the process. I’m grateful to Carol and her team for making my book a reality.

Not a reputable company. Says they are doing business in San Francisco, but they do not have a San Francisco business license. With a little research, I determined that the address on their website is in an apartment complex but they do not list an apartment number the address they give is incomplete.
At one point they told me that I would be getting a call from California, but the number on the call actually came from Texas. Payments for services are processed through a company near Chicago.

They try to upsell you rather than produce the product you paid for agents can be rude and insulting the limited work that I saw from them certainly did not inspire my confidence.

They took my money, but never produced the product that I paid for. They said they were going to refund my money, but as yet I have not seen it.

Mark Williams is a phenomenal account manager, could not have anyone better to handle my business project. One guy I would definitely recommend to others here!

This is my third book that I am publishing with them. I am very pleased with the job that they did and what they are doing. I highly recommend them. Give them a try, you will not regret it. They work together with you step by step. The key is communication and that makes the relationship work. I really want to publish more books with them in the future. EEQ
