Good evening!

Good evening!
want to leave a review about your hotel Swissotel!
we really liked the rooftop pool on the 7th floor!
and in particular: personnel - lifeguard his name A
such a caring guy charges positively, controls everything in the pool. constantly asking how it can help. It is so wonderful that you have a lifeguard in the Pool who really looks after everything. this has never been seen before. keep up the good work

Worst place

Worst place to get your qualifications!! Save yourself a ton of grief and find a better rated college. Student support is horrible and the timeline for feedback is horrendous, you can be waiting up to 2 months. If you course is expiring they’ll take even longer to mark your work.

They can’t provide a proper PT who actually could prepare you for your exam. I applied for a course with a PT’s help but I never learned anything new or any professional thing. And they never solved my complaints after a few emails they stopped answering and they never get back to me. Waste of money waste of time!

I’ve done a PT course over the last 2 years. They lost my papers and said it’s not their responsibility. The tutor Danielle was rude, arrogant and aggressive. They now refused to issue a certificate or to resolve this issue. A nightmare company. Incompetent admin staff
It’s been 4 weeks that I’m trying to speak to someone but unsuccessfully

Do not recommend them!

CPD Online Webinar with Lois

CPD Online Webinar: Programme Design with Lois

Very informative and detailed CPD with excellent resources to support learning. Lois regularly checked on the learners' understanding and assessed progress by giving tasks to complete in the chat area. Her open and approachable manner meant it was a comfortable space to ask questions and the pace of the session was appropriate considering the range of learners on the course.

The examples used were appropriate for enhancing understanding and modelling of good practice using the PT Academy workbook meant that it was much clearer how to use the tools provided to design an effective program for clients.

Would be 5 stars were it not for Zoom (the video chat software) suffering technical issues meaning there was limited functionality.

Thanks Lois! 5/5 for you! Zoom, please sort out the technical issues so the software is up to the high standard of the CPD.

I agree with the above reviews

I agree with the above reviews of inefficiency and poor quality, that the company is only interested in making money without providing quality service. If you watch their instruction video, they're not giving full details. The program material is very rough, and there are mistakes in the workbook. I started early last year. The time they take to respond to the certification is in deed super slow. I paid my account in full. I sent emails and called to get updates on my Level 2 certification and they mentioned errors in communication and the level 2 was passed 2 months ago with no updates (I passed the physical assessment 4 months ago, so just the certification/varification). I've already passed level 3 but that certificate likely take a long time and needs many emails to chase again. The whole thing was not done in an effective/efficient way, it seems only when they take payment it looks like an institution, pretty fast. I give 2 stars only because I learnt something about fitness, but looking back I would have chosen another training provider.

Core CPD with Cheryl Broadfoot

Just completed the Core CPD with Cheryl Broadfoot in Manchester. Absolutely the best CPD I have done to date. Fun, informative and exhausting! Would certainly recommend her for both learning or if you want a fresh approach to your training from a knowledgeable PT!
Thanks.

A great company to work alongside

I started my learning with PT Academy in Aug 2018 with my level 2 and although I had my original tutor changed in the 1st few weeks to someone else, i was actually quite glad i did, as Sam who was my replacement was amazing and a brilliant teacher, who gave me lots of support online/over messages and when we met up for practises and exams!
I passed my level 2 and 3 within about 10 weeks and even though I had to travel to Birmingham (about an hour away) to take my exams etc, I knew that before I signed up, so didnt see it as a problem.
I'm still waiting for my certificate for my level 3 which was passed last year, (which is why I didnt give them 5 stars) but I see it as only a bit of paper which I dont need to actually work, but fingers crossed I get that soon.
On a whole I really enjoyed the process with the company and as they offer 11 CPD course which you can complete within a 3 year period, I am still working my way through them with no problems at all! The price I think was great for everything you get too.
I would recommend PT Academy to anyone and have referred a friend to them already who is hopefully going to start learning with them soon too!

THIS COMPANY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY!!!

THIS COMPANY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY!!!
How they could call themselves the no. 1 PT academy in UK.
This company is a joke and only giving me an anxiety. Signed up in 2016 it`s 2019 and still waiting for my certificate.
After completing and sending my workbook in the level 2. they told me the structure of the workbook has changed and I need to rewrite all my work. Of course the questions and everything were completely different so I basically had to do all the job over again.
When I completed all my work for the second time and sent it to the assessment team I went to London for a development day. The coach was rude with no patience and no understanding we all were learners. Made me feel useless and demotivated.
I have passed my practical exam which for me seamed to be extremely simple and looked like they just want to give it to everyone to take more and more money. After I was waiting to receive my PDF certificate level 2. format for months. No respond for my emails and when I called them the only answer I got was I have to send an email and wait. Everyone in the company was unwilling to help me and full of bullishit.
When I finally got my PDF level 2. I didn`t know that this was just the beginning.
15th of May I have received an email to confirm my address to get my hard copy for the level 2. Which I did the same day. But it took them two and half months to send it to me. I had to chase them and every week I called them they told me they are going to send it to me. Just a joke! That is briefly my experience with the Level 2.
During the time when I was dealing with the level 2 I was also finishing the workbook for the level 3.
I have completed my workbook for the level 3. and sent it for marking. First my work has been lost so I had to send it again. They were acting like it`s my fault of course. Waiting weeks and weeks to get results. Had to call several times to find out if they have marked my work. This took 2 months time. Passed my practical exam level 3. in December 2018 in London and again so simple to pass. My practical exam took 30min. :o WAW I must be an amazing PT then.
In April 2019 I emailed tham and also called them to let them know I have got a new job in a gym starting in May and I need to get my PDF asap. They didn`t care about it. It`s August and still don`t get it. Calling and calling every week. Finally have got the results and my work has been sent to IQA for verification and I should get my certificate withing 28 days. Happy days? Not really! It`s been 6 weeks, called again several times and this time the IQA had sent my workbook back to the assessment team because I haven`t completed everything. Later on I found out my workbook is an old version and they don`t accept it anymore so need to rewrite it AGAIN.
I feel sorry for anyone who have been going through any similar situation with this Academy. I actually gave them 1 week to send me my certificate otherwise I am going to take a further actions!!!!

YOUR COMMENT BELLOW IS A BIG LIE!!!!!! HOW DARE YOU!

Dear Mikaela,

After checking the system, it currently shows that your Level 2 was submitted on the 14th March 2019 and was referred on the 16th April 2019 for amendments. Once the required amendments were made your Level 2 officially passed on the 23rd April 2019. You then went on to submit your level 3 on the 17th May 2019 which was then Internally Quality Assured and passed on the 6th June 2019.

As a good will gesture we then issued your Hard-copy Level 2 Certificate on the 20th June 2019 via the Awarding Organisation although your account balance was not paid in full.

In order to receive your Level 3 Hard-copy certification you must pay for the remaining balance in full.

Kind Regards

JDPTA

STAY AWAY GUYS!

STAY AWAY GUYS!
So disappointed with their service- not only is the communication terrible, once they have your money you're pretty much on your own... they made a mistake with my account, I had being paying money which was leaving account every month... they falsely accused me of not paying and got debt collectors after me.I had threatening emails and letters for something I hadn't done... not cool!I have never experience so much stress in my life. I obviously have asked for compensation for their mistakes which they admitted they were responsible for.. but now I'm obviously asking for compensation / refund.. they have vanished. They will not get back to me via the email they advised I contact for help and are ignoring all my emails. I'm writing this to try and prevent anyone else going through this awful and very stressful experience! This case is still yet to be resolved.. major alarm bells.

Disappointing company!!!

I signed up for the Level 3 Personal Training course and everything was going quite well until I realised they sent me the Level 2 assessment workbook. A lot of time was wasted on this and passed this off as a ‘one off’ I was in a position where I needed to be qualified as soon as possible so finished it in record time. I completed it in the first week in December 2018 then needed to make minor amendments so I did. I was hoping to get this certificate mid January. I passed everything but was told it had to go off to another department to get marked again and this may take as long as 4 weeks. I was also told it should not take this long as they are aware of my urgency for the certificate. Fast forward to now, March 20th 2019, I’m still waiting!! And by the way, I have sent numerous emails pleading with them to just sent me a PDF of my certificate. I have gotten nothing back except for an email from the assessment team saying I need to contact the accounts team! What sense does that make? Why do I have to contact the accounts team? I paid in full from day one. Of course I contacted them and was supposed to be responded to within 48 hours, we’ll, that was 3 weeks ago! I did however, get well over 90 promotional emails from them. My experience was and still is terrible. I am absolutely disappointed. I hardly write reviews and never a bad one but just wanted to warn potential PTs of this company. I’m sorry but I’ve giving them more than enough time!
