It works

If you avoid outlook.com as primary mail (where mails do not arrive or after hours) then it's a nice service. To Gmail accounts it's forwards smoothly. Not tested with other accounts. For $30 lifetime this deal honestly very cheap

Great service just need some polish.

Great service just need some polish.

I would like to see some work done on UiI (although not very important since the service is great). Some integration into Bitwarden for alias generation.

The developer is helpful and easy to get hold of when you have questions which is great. The price is really great too.

Serves its purpose well!

The UI does need improvement. It would be useful to include folder categoriations for accounts. other than that, its been serving me well

Simple and Fair Value for Money - Definitely Not a Scam but Don't Expect too Much

Simple interface - easy to use.
No exaggeration in marketing - does exactly what it claims.
AI/Bots is definitely a surprise and is excellent! That seems to be a unique function from ProxiedMail.

Looks good so far... but...

Minor flaws in email forwarding, e.g. when an incoming email has a different "FROM" address and "REPLY-TO" address, the reverse alias ignores the "reply-to" address. When you reply, ProxiedMail seem to forward emails back to the "From" address instead of the "reply-to" address. (e.g., the email is from marketing@companydomain and has a reply-to address support@companydomain; your reply will be forwarded to marketing instead of support.)

Lacks advanced control in email forwarding behaviours, e.g., the "From Name" of a forwarded email must contain the "via ProxiedMail" tag; you cannot set a Display Name for a Proxied Email address to show to external recipients; Cannot forward to multiple real email addresses at one time, etc.

Most importantly, and the current barrier that stops me from using it is, inability to support mobile devices. You must generate a new proxied email on the webpage using a browser. No mobile apps, no mobile keyboard integration... This is so painful for people like me who always use proxied mail for signing up newsletters and memberships.

Btw, the founder Alex is helpful and responds to emails.

Finally, to be fair, for that price and lifetime plan, it basically works in a simple manner. If you need a proxied mail service and does not require any advanced mail forwarding management, go for it!

This is a good one, still in the making, and works in simple scenarios for now.

Hi Keira,

It's Alex, the founder of ProxiedMail.
Thank you for taking a time to write a review.

I really appreciate it.
Regarding "From" formatting and related - we have a tasks in a backlog in order to make this part of the product better. To be honest hard to say when release is, but this year i guess.
A lot is going on now.

Mobile app: coming until end of the summer.

In the end, we want to be powerful solution, so I believe you would find a product yourself for you in some time. We want to be the best and your feedback really helps.

Thank you! Looking forward to see you on board of ProxiedMail with all those things fixed :)

ProxiedMail provides so much value

Simple and intuitive user interface to set up email proxies.
You can also reply to emails that are being relayed so it's not only just for receiving.

The Lifetime deal was a great offer and will continue to use it for the foreseeable future.

Great and simple service

Great and simple service. It does just what it says. Using something like this in the current internet is a no brainer.

This is a great and simple to set up…

This is a great and simple to set up service. Did exactly what I needed with my custom domains.

The company was super responsive with a feature request and turned it around in less than an hour.

To the reviewer who mentioned other services, they are way more expensive and analytics on how users move around a website is not the massive privacy issue you suggest.

I would not hesitate to recommend.

Lifetime deal seems great but there are…

Lifetime deal seems great but there are many drawbacks.

1. No PGP support
2. Website and dashboard are full of trackers, analytics and mouse click logs

Not an ideal for anyone who is serious about privacy. Addy.io and Simplelogin are much better.

Thank you for highlighting such issues and reviewing them overall.
We don't have a PGP yet, but it's planned for the near future.
About the analytics - we simply want to understand how comfortable people are feeling with the website, so we're tracking some events and saving them in anonymized form to improve the product.
I think we will cut most of the front-end analytics for paid accounts.

The issue is with our competitors - you don't own your stuff this way.
We don't want people to pay for their emails 20$/year+ until the end. Also, their pricing could be raised one day, but you already have trapped.

Excellent and easy

The user interface is easy to use and the customer service is excellent with all the questions I have had so far. A very helpful product to help protect your email address.
