We had a door opening into a roofed area in the garden which I thought would make an excellent pantry/utility room if only it could be boxed in. Lewis went above and beyond in planning, fitting and finishing our windows and doors. Totally competent, very knowledgable and showed great versatility when presented with a few unforeseen obstacles. A real gem of a guy, can totally recommend him. Honest, genuine and hardworking.

There is nothing that Lewis can't do, he's fitted flooring, replaced doors, installed windows, fixed windows, put up house numbers, installed our RING doorbell, installed a TV and mount, and I'm sure there's probably something I've missed! He's honest, reliable and finishes every job to a high standard.

We have used Property Envisions for a new composite front door and on another occasion for replacement upvc windows. We would whole heartedly recommend them and we will continue to use and recommend their services. Lewis did my windows & doors.
For me it was a trust thing, having had windows & doors fitted before at previous properties & having had bad experiences, this time I did my homework.
Lewis obviously knows the window & door industry well, he buys from a local supplier who also offers product guarantees.
After having my windows & doors fitted & being very happy with the service & communication from Lewis I decided to have my soffits & gutters replaced.
Once again, excellent service.

My York Edwardian two up two down terrace had a mix of cheap UPVC casement and original sash windows front and back. The UPVC casement windows were not in keeping with the property and the wooden sash windows were in extremely poor condition, this included large amounts of very serious rot, cracked glass, etc. They were beyond economic repair.
I also wanted to get the benefit of better security, insulation, double glazing, soundproofing, etc that comes with modern windows.

Removing an original feature from a house goes against every fiber of my being, so I wanted the replacement to be in keeping with the property as much as possible. Lewis took me through all the period options available on the new windows and how we could retain as much of the original interior period woodwork as possible, this included the original architraves and interior window sills.

I had quotes from several other York-based window companies, not only was Lewis one of the most competitive he was the ONLY one that showed any real interest in helping me retain the original features.

During the initial quote, final measure-up, and fitting he was very helpful, clear, punctual, and thought outside the box to make sure I got the result I was after. His attention to detail is second to none and I am beyond pleased with the end result.

I can't recommend Property Envisions highly enough.
