I enjoyed my 17 weeks in Brighton big time. It was one of my best experiences ever. I attended the CAE course and some weeks in General English at ELC Brighton. All teachers were creative and motivated and the teaching was always a great mix between seriousness and fun. I booked the intense course (30 instead of 25 lessons a week). However, next time I'd go for the normal course because the extra lessons were always in the afternoon when the other students had time to do something else. It was also with a different teacher and other students and with only 5 lessons more you don't benefit that much or you'd be better off just going out with your friends and use the language. But it was okay because there I had the opportunity to meet more people
In terms of students there were some Swiss people but here you have to be strict with yourself and keep speaking English. If you're open-minded you'll always meet people from other countries that you can hang out with.
I was very lucky with my host family. My room could have been bigger but the good food and the bathroom, which I only had to share with my housemate, more than outweighed this. Pro Linguis were always kind, gave good advice in advance and gave a helping hand with the Covid-restrictions. Otherwise I've never had any issues and therefore no reason to contact them, which is an evidence for their good work.
My language stay was a huge success and I can't recommend it highly enough. And with Pro Linguis you're always at the safe side.

My time in Portsmouth in England was amazing. Portsmouth is a wonderful, lovely city and has everything what you need. Nice restaurants, a sea, a beach, an harbour, a lot of opportunities to go shopping, pubs and bars, a lot of landmarks and great people. And when you are interestet in history, then is it a must to go there. :-) Portsmouth is of course never boring. The school, LSI Portsmouth, was also really good. The teachers and the other staff was really kind, friendly, always helpful and you can count on them. No matter what kind of problem you have, they will help you. The class, the CAE exam preperation course, was really good and helpful. I could defenitely achieve my language goal.
And now to my hostfamily: Omg they were brilliant! I love them so much, we had a great time. I spent a lot of time with my hostfamily, they always had a nice chat with me, helped me with my homework, we always had a laugh together and they showed me as well things in Portsmouth. My hostmum cooked really good, the food was delicious. And I did not just stay in their house, i was like a familymember. From the first moment, i came in their house, i felt at home, because of the warmth and the atmosphere in this lovely house. Thank you so much to my hostfamiliy, i couldn't imagine a better hostfamily, they become a second family for me. They were always there for me and helped me a lot. They made my stay so wonderful!
To stay 3 months in Portsmouth was the best decision I could make and I would definitely recommend it to you. I could learn so much, not only about the language english, but also about the english culture, other cultures from people around the world and about life skills in general. I think this trip gave me mature, in every way.
Thank you Pro Linguis for everything. I was really satisfied with your organisation and as well with your questions, when I was already in England, if I'm fine and everything. In addition to this did you inform me imediately after some changes about rules to fly back to switzerland. I felt always supportet by you and could count on you. Thank you so much!

I had a great time in England (Portsmouth)! I met many lovely people, had a lot of fun, learned a lot about different cultures (not only England but also about the culture from the other students) and I was able to do very special thing (such as visiting other cities with friends or going to a festival (Victorious festival)). At the school where I've staied (LSI) I've learned a lot and in the end I was well prepared for my CAE exam (which I passed :) ). In addition to this the school and my host family always looked that I am fine and tried their best to give advices and help in case of a problem or a question. All in all it was a great life experience and there is no doubt that I would do it again! (by the way Portsmouth is really beautiful with the stone beach and the lovely restaurants and there is a lot you can do so you will never get bored ;) ).

It was really great. The family was amazing, very kind and had a lot of experience which made things easier. The City had a lot to offer, and each day I had something new to see or experience. The one negative was the school. Although the teachers were very kind people, not all of them were good at teaching. Sometimes we would just play games for a full afternoon instead of actually learning something. Also in the beginning things like the heating were turned off so it got really cold in the rooms. Even though we complained about it, the school only turned it on after 2 weeks. But all in all it was a fantastic experience and I would definitely recommend it.

This was the first language trip for my daughter in a campus for kids. We are very satisfied with Pro Linguis who were very reactive to answer our questions in a short time. Thank you very much! For my daughter it was a great experience and she is looking forward to make a new language trip next summer. With Pro Linguis of course!

Our exchange had always been very personal and kind on the one hand but on the other also highly professional including very quick answers on my emails and phone calls as well as significant and remarkable flexibility when it came to personal wishes and in particular, changes at short notice from my side that I would never perceive as evident at all.

Last but not least, I had always had the impression that they took me serious and noticeably represented my interests towards their foreign partners, having thus done excellently their very difficult job of balancing the partially conflicting interests of their client, their partner organisation and of course of ProLinguis itself.

To conclude, I would and will highly recommend ProLinguis to anyone, am going to contact ProLinguis again for a potential language stay in the future and in any case, am enormously grateful for having been able to get to know and work with the aforementioned team of ProLinguis :))

We were very impressed by Pro Linguis’ geat service. All requests were answered professionally with very short response time. There was no pressure to sign a contract and once the camp started the Pro Linguis crew followed up and asked whether all was going well.

With the help of Pro Linguis I attended a course in the Byron Bay English Language School (BBELS) for 11 weeks. I was looking for a place which is a little more familiar and quieter, rather than a big busy city, but still has a lot to offer.
They told me Byron Bay would fit my mentioned points perfectly.
And it did! I fell in love with this wonderfull place immediately!
Also the Hostfamily and the School was amazing. I met a ton of very kind people and had an unforgettable time there. The staff as well as the family were always there if there where any questions. For the course we got individually matched with our level. The teachers and staff were very friendly and happy to help with everything.

I only would have liked a little more or more specific informations beforehand about how the whole process works.

Overall amazing experience, I would do it again any time without hesitation!

I could spend wonderful 3 weeks in Valencia in a school called International House. Classes were really great and I could learn a lot. Mainly the organization of the time table was a bit annoying otherwise I can't complain about my classes. My teachers were very motivating and tried to make you use Spanish as much as possible. Therefore I could really see my progress. I arrived not really being able to say a sentence correctly and left being able to fully participate in a conversation at the dinner table. My host family was just lovely and she definitely knew how to cook;)Delicious!
All in all, a very good experience which I wouldn't have been able to experience without Prolinguis. Thanks a lot!!!

Pro Linguis helped my in a very professional way to spend a perfect language stay abroad. For 14 weeks in Vancouver I only paid 5360 CHF including school, homestay, airport transfer and test fees. The language school in Vancouver (ILAC) was excellent, and my homestay was very friendly and helpful. At the end of my stay, I made the Cambridge Proficieny Exam, and I passed. So I'm really happy with my experience.

I had a great time in Toronto. The school, the teachers and the homestay were really good. Moreover, the teachers were very competent. Pro Linguis organized everything perfect, uncomplicated and when I had a question they were always there for me. In addition, they also organized the opportunity for making the Cambridge exam in Toronto what really appreciated. I can only recommend Pro Linguis as well as the school in Toronto.

I had a great time in Sydney! I've been in Langports for 3 months and I improved alot! I met many people from different countries and traveled a lot as well. My host familiy was really friendly so I enjoyed my stay very much!

I had a great time in Bray. The school is really good and the teachers are very competent. Pro Linguis organized it all perfect, uncomplicated and when I had questions they were always there for me. I can only recommend Pro Linguis as well as the school in Bray.
