Project solar have been a really good company to work with. From the initial visit, Vincent was knowledgeable and professional- he took the time to explain all of the aspects we needed to understand about installing solar.
Communication between initial visit and fitting was really good. When it came to installation, Bogdan and Razvan were early to arrive, took the time to discuss the installation and did all they could to accommodate our requests and preferences. They were fast and careful during the installation and finished on time.
Communication since installation has been very responsive and helpful.
A very good experience all round

Brad & Steve were out installers and…
Brad & Steve were out installers and they were very professional, prompt and tidy.
Both worked very hard and explained everything as the installation progressed.
Brad sat with my Wife and I and explained how it all worked, the next steps and how the App worked.
Would definitely recommend.

Good advice...
I sent in a quote request late on Friday and got a call back today (Monday) from Dylan, so decently fast response time. We went through a few details about the finer points of the roof and Dylan explained why it wouldn't produce a very good output / return, so I won't be a customer but I really appreciate the honest advice.

We had made an appointment with a…
We had made an appointment with a rep/salesman for today and he was on time and well presented but thats where it stopped.
He didn't take any notice of our requirements, what we are looking at getting from solar and our long term plan for the property.
Instead he kept referring to a 30 year plan and savings to glorify the figures. Even though we did say we would require a battery as we are out of the house all day he quoted us without then added on a further £5500 for a battery.
If you have a couple of hours to waste or looking at being bored to sleep with cheesy sayings and his life history give them a call, if you are looking for someone who can meet your requirements and get straight to the point dont ring this lot.

Be extremely careful about the pricing their sales agents quote you because what they charge appears to depend on who they think they can get away with overcharging. I was sold a system consisting of 8 × 500W solar panels and an 8.6kWh Fox battery for £15,000. Shortly afterwards, a neighbour whom I personally referred to the company received a significantly better system for only £10,000 — 9 × 500W solar panels and an 11.1kWh Fox battery, both superior to what I was sold, note we both have the same Guarantee and Warranty.
When I challenged the company and requested either a partial refund or an upgrade to match the value given to my neighbour, they refused and claimed the difference was due to roof specifications. That explanation simply does not stand up to scrutiny. My neighbour's property is virtually identical to mine, making their justification highly questionable.
To make matters worse, the system's performance has been disappointing. Despite being installed during the summer months, the battery frequently drops to 30–40% overnight. If performance is already this poor in summer, I have serious concerns about how it will cope during winter.
What is most frustrating is not just the apparent price disparity, but the lack of transparency and accountability when concerns are raised. Customers should not have to discover that others are receiving substantially better equipment for thousands of pounds less.
My experience has left me feeling misled, overcharged, and completely let down. I strongly recommend that prospective customers obtain multiple quotes and compare providers before committing. Based on my experience, I would not use this company again and cannot recommend them to others.

Great Company, Great Fitting Team
Great friendly team of lads came to fit our solar panels on 28th. Thanks to Travis & Connor on the roof, Luke & Liam on electrics. And a mention to Tim the delivery driver who delivered the kit. Clean and tidy job made of the electrical equipment in the utility room. Despite it being larger than was envisaged, luckily it all fitted neatly. The panels were fitted (after review of measurements and found one panel too many for roof space) this was disappointing as it’s left a corner not covered and earning money. Overall a very good job done. Recommend this company but check at sales point to size and measurements of roof space. No owners manual regarding spec and outputs which would have been useful.
