Was the first user, glad I took the chance
My boyfriend built Projection, and I was actually the first person to use it. So I might be a little biased.
I was applying for audit roles at the time and using an old Word CV that I kept editing for every application. It was getting pretty tedious.
Being the first user was a bit strange because there weren’t any reviews or examples from other users yet. I wasn’t sure how well it would work, especially for jobs I really wanted, but I decided to give it a try.
I uploaded my CV, pasted in the job descriptions, and used Projection to tailor my bullet points to each role. It worked with my actual experience, and I still changed a few things myself. The biggest difference was not having to start from scratch for every application or keep track of a bunch of Word files.
I ended up getting an offer for an Audit Associate position. The interviews were on me 😄, but I do think having a CV tailored to the role helped me get my foot in the door.
If you’re hesitant because Projection is still new, I get it. I was unsure at first too, but I’m glad I gave it a chance. It honestly made the whole process a lot less stressful.
