DO NOT ORDER

No surprise given the other reviews here that I ordered a giant doughnut for a 6 year olds party… it didn’t turn up, no communication. I’ve contacted them via social media (seemingly the only way to contact them) and they’ve read it and not replied. I’ve had to go to my credit card company to try get reimbursed. Just horrible they don’t reply and the website and social media is still running but they’re just taking money…?! Just wanted to come on here and warn people..

Worst experience ever

Reading these reviews there seems to be a theme emerging. I ordered XL donut and smaller donuts to be delivered 31st August for a birthday and it didn’t arrive. Numerous attempts at contacting via email and social media with no response. The lack of communication is disgraceful and no company should be able to get away with treating customers like this!!

Very disappointed!

Ordered doughnuts to be delivered 29/8, order was confirmed but never fulfilled. Tried to contact Project D via email and Instagram on the day of delivery and multiple times after but I’ve had no reply. I appreciate there could have been a system issue as many people seem to have experienced the same thing but that doesn’t excuse the complete lack of communication, even turning off comments on Instagram. Hopefully a refund will be issued soon otherwise I will make a complaint to the ombudsman.

Order never arrived

We pre ordered an xxl doughnut from their website for my sons birthday and it never arrived, sent multiple messages across their different social media platforms with no reply, yet they are posting on their Facebook page! Disgusting customer service, left us without a birthday doughnut/ cake for my son who was really disappointed. AVOID!

I don’t even want to give one star!!

I don’t even want to give one star!!! Ordered a box of 6 donuts for delivery on the 29th of August, no delivery, no response from customer service despite emailing 4 times and trying to contact through social media. Absolutely appalling customer service, and still waiting for a refund!!

No order sent for partners birthday!!

I ordered a xxl donut for my partners birthday as they don’t like cakes. Picked delivery date and when that date comes I emailed asking if it was out for delivery today. Got told no there’s been an error in production you should have been told yesterday sorry. They gave me a voucher for 25% off and a refund to which i will not be ordering from them again. Terrible business model especially when there product aren’t exactly cheap! I now have to try and find an alternative on my partners birthday!

Spotted a Project D stall at a recent…

Spotted a Project D stall at a recent outdoor event and having seen lots of online hype about them, a couple of us bought their doughnuts. A box of four I believe were around £14, so quite expensive. They were pretty to look at but nothing special. Quite dry. 6/10.

Expensive

Was told by company over Facebook that delivery on a Friday would be Royal mail ,it wasn't so had to wait in longer for DHL 🙄 paid £25 for 6 donuts delivered , they were nice but that was it in my opinion way too expensive.

Amazing

Purchase and delivery was easy. The doughnuts themselves were amazing. Light, fresh and so tasty. We’ll definitely order again.

Simply the best doughnuts

I cannot over-emphasise how good these doughnuts are - they blow all other “luxury doughnut” brands out the water. Ordering online is a simple process and doughnuts have always turned up in great condition. Just waiting now for this Company to become a high-street mainstay… their product is just too good to be limited to the midlands!
