Incorrect Coolant Replacement and Unclear A/C Service
I visited Profile Nederland for an air conditioning service and a complete coolant replacement. For the coolant service, I brought approximately 10 liters of new coolant because I specifically requested a full replacement. After the work was completed, I discovered that only the coolant that drained naturally from the system had been removed, and about 4 liters were refilled even though the system capacity is around 6 liters. After I pointed this out, the workshop agreed to redo the job and corrected the coolant replacement, which I appreciate. However, I had a much less positive experience with the air conditioning service. I was initially told that only about 250 grams of refrigerant had been added because that was what was included in the service price. When I explained that the manufacturer's specification for my vehicle is approximately 550 grams, I was told that additional refrigerant would require an extra charge. I agreed to pay the difference and asked them to refill the system to the correct amount, but they then changed their explanation and claimed that although the machine showed 250 grams, the system had actually been filled with the correct amount according to the manufacturer's specifications. Despite my request and willingness to pay, they refused to add any more refrigerant. As a result, I am left with serious doubts about the actual amount of refrigerant added and about the transparency of the service provided. While I appreciate that the coolant issue was eventually corrected, I expected clearer communication and a more professional approach from the beginning.
