My daughter's assessor Lisa was extremely kind and understanding of my daughters anxiety and shyness. She was lovely, even to the point that my daughter commented how nice she was. She was very supportive and gave me clear feedback on her time with my daughter. I did the informant assessment with Jane, who again was very kind, clear on what she needed from me(which was incredibly helpful as I am neurodiverse myself and need very clear instructions) and understanding of the situation. My daughter and I were put at ease immediately and I feel this very much helped in getting the outcome we did. I have always worried no one believed me about my daughters struggles but Lisa picked up on her capability to mask incredibly well right from the start. I was very happy with the service we received. We also didn't wait too long from the referto the assessment so this was really good.

The wait time was reasonable. The help desk staff response where always pleasant.
It's strange they don't give you a date forms have to be handed in by but just tell you in weeks, which isn't helpful.
My main problem was my assessor she wasn't friendly and she didn't put me at ease. Having an assessment of this sort is stressful in its self. The assessor made it more stressful and I came away feeling very low after the assessment. They couldn't decide on my diagnosis so she took it to a multidisciplinary team which was thorough. I thought.
Evey time I spoke to my assessor it felt like she wanted to end the video call quickly. The last call she said the video link wasn't working and rang me instead.
I wouldn't recommend from the experience I have had. I was unsure why my assessor was doing this job as she clearly didn't like it.
Oh and in my assessment report the assessor got information wrong about me. Which I didn't have the energy to follow up.

I would strongly recommend that anyone referred to Problem Shared double‑checks their coverage before proceeding under Private Medical. My understanding is that they are not recognised by the NHS, and because they are not GMC‑registered, NHS services may not accept their referrals. This can result in patients being personally liable for the cost of any prescribed medication or treatment.

The person who was friendly and gave me reassurance about the assessment. I was nervous about the tests but they were okay. The assessment took a long time but a lot tests were carried out. The only negative was that some tests were American themed. This did not cause too big a problem. None of the questions relied on American spelling.

I spoke with a lovely guy called Gabriel, he made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I am very grateful to have had my assessment and got my diagnosis of ADHD

They are centred on the experience of the user without being patronising. They are always polite and friendly and the reminders sent have the perfect balance of urgency and understanding. The actual service provided is exemplary and the assessor knowledgeable and personable. I’m really pleased I chose this provider

Absolutely outstanding service. My assessor made a difficult process easy and even somewhat fun! Extremely professional and kind, open and honest with a very high understanding of the difficulties I faced with some of the questions. Also the communication before the assessment was very good, emails answered quickly and helpfully. 10/10 all round and highly recommended

Amazing Team! I waited 8 months in total for my assessment with “problem shared” considering people are waiting “years” to be seen on the NHS I’m very pleased with this. My assessor was Lou Hurrel she was very warm, kind & understanding. I received the result of my assessment on the same day! What a golden service!

The entire process was quick and easy. Once I had uploaded the forms required on the portal, they booked me in for my online assessment within a matter of weeks! When I joined the call, I was a bit apprehensive and didn't know what to expect. My assessor made me instantly feel at ease, and was so professional, and made the entire interview process feel like a breeze.
I honestly could not recommend Problem Shared enough!

My assessor, Lisa, was lovely. She made me feel at ease and allowed me time and space to talk freely. Though she was taking notes I felt she was genuinely listening and responding authentically. I found the pre assessment questionnaires a little restricting due to the box size being fixed, but when I contacted PS about it they advised me to attach the answers as a separate document. When I have needed to contact PS about anything I have found their responses to be prompt and informative. I also found it worked well being totally online as it made it easier to fit around my work schedule.
Overall I would 100% recommend this service.
