Beware, don't order from Print Peppermint

I ordered business cards for a high end company I work for in November 2025. The communication was few and far between and the responses I did get were obviously from overseas workers emailing overnight American time. I would receive answers from various people on the same chain from one email which caused confusion - especially on their end.
Slow, back-and-forth and repeating myself on directions went on for about a month before I received an invoice at the end of December. The invoice was misquoted and they tried to charge $100 more per set than they quoted and proofed. They corrected it after a week or so and I reluctantly paid, frustrated with how much time I had already spent on the order. I requested the order be expedited due to the poor experience and they said they would push production up (another lie).
Mid-January I receive an email from them asking about which PMS color is correct via a low-quality photo of someone holding color swatches. I had already sent them the color specs and was shocked that they hadn't started production at all, two months after the order was initially placed. Not to mention, as a "professional printing company", THEY should be the experts at making that decision. It's now February and I'm not sure if the cards are going to show up at all at this point.
A joke of a company with a deceiving, put-together website. Don't fall for it.

Truly fabulous

Truly fabulous. I called Peppermint Press out of the blue needing print a flyer printing for my lost cat and needed 400 copies A4 colour printing asap. Bob was not only sympathetic, thoughtful but also did the job in 30 mins with great pleasure. If I ever need printing or any services this Company offers, I am in. I collected the printing. The Cat came home but wont forget Bob's kindness.

Terrible experience — Austin T. was unprofessional and dismissive

I had an extremely frustrating experience working with Print Peppermint, specifically Austin T. I clearly laid out what was needed at the beginning, followed up multiple times over several weeks, and got no meaningful response. Then suddenly, Austin drops a $250 fee with zero explanation or heads-up — and no design specs were even provided from their side.

When I followed up again, his response was basically “you can handle the rest elsewhere.” Unbelievably dismissive.

The only thing they delivered was the business cards, late. Everything else was ignored. Save your money and time — there are far more professional and communicative printers out there.

Don’t be fooled by Print Peppermint

Chatted with Austin and he confirmed that my order on March 20th, would be delivered by March 31st. I need business cards for a big event on April 1st, tomorrow, and I chose to order from Austin because of his confirmation via Whatsapp that the cards would be printed and delivered in time for my event. He also told me the cards are printed in Texas which also convinced me because its closer to the east coast where I am located.

I placed my $750 order because Austin seemed responsive and service focused.

The proof came within a few hours after I placed the order. I gave approval an hour afterwards. So far so good. After several days of no updates, I messaged Austin about the status of my order snd he said it was in production, at which point I received a confirmation email. I was a little concerned because time was running short but I figured Austin knee what he was doing. After no updates for several days, I messaged Austin again via Whatsapp, and he said it was on the way, and once again I instantly received an email with a UPS tracking number that showed the shipping order was created but not picked up. After another day, tracking showed delivery on April 2nd.

Needless to say I am frustrated. After spending $750 on 750 business cards, a massive margin I’m sure, Austin couldn't choose the shipping method that would ensure I received my cards in time, for my event, as he had assured. Rather he chose the cheapest and longest option.

Save your money and find a respected local printer rather than this con artist. Don’t be swayed by the pretty pictures on the websites, service standard is just not worth the premium. It’s too bad also, I own four other businesses and thought I had finally found my go to printer. Oh well, I guess I will follow my own advice and search for a local printer where I can build an actual personal relationship and get products on time when I need them.

terrible service bad results

Sadly, I spent days and days working on the Coretti art for my business cards. I spent $400 on my business cards themselves and they came with crooked text and were bent. No one responded. I tried five times between WhatsApp and emails and I am incredibly disappointed. I’m working on a dispute with my credit card company. Please do not use this company. You will be very disappointed. The Customerservice is terrible.

TLDR: Long time, normally happy, customer was massively let down for her wedding and will not be a returning.

I would like to start off this review in a positive light before I get dark.
I have worked with Print Peppermint on a good handful of different projects for myself and my clients.
So naturally I knew they would do a killer job on our menus and name place cards for my wedding. The process was normal, sent a couple emails back and forth confirming details and approved the proofs on March 27th.
_____

On April 19 I sent a slightly concerned email since the order estimated production completion date was April 16 - 18 and I hadn’t heard anything.

The wedding was May 11th, the team was reminded and it was made clear from the start.
On April 30th I sent another email asking for an update. I was honestly pretty patient by this point but the “per my last email” demon was out and ready to go.
It had been 12 days past the latest estimated production completion date.

I got a response on May 1st with the tracking number and apologies for the “trouble” saying they “needed to make sure they were perfect, and they are!”
To me this just felt like a lame excuse, you do quality work and you’ve given me an estimate to set expectations. I should not be the one chasing you down when your team has dropped the ball and needs more time.
_____

They at least expedited the shipping since I requested it so we got everything on May 2nd.

The quality was there but unfortunately they DID NOT use gold foil which is what I requested and approved from the start. The proofs also confirmed they would be using “Yellow Gold Foil”.

Given the journey so far this absolutely sent me.
I emailed immediately on Thurs, May 2nd, sending photos and expressing my disappointment. They did not look right, they were hard to read AND they WERE NOT what we asked for. I asked them to reprint asap and give me a rush job. I followed up on May 3rd having NOT heard anything.
_____

They responded on May 6th…. telling me they “suggested our matte gold foil 177m which we find much more elegant”. They also claimed they could not reprint by our wedding and said the best they could offer was a PARTIAL refund.

There was absolutely no mention of a “Matte” gold foil in any of our emails. “177m” was mentioned ONCE and in a follow up email I asked what that was and never got clarification.

I’m pretty knowledgeable when it comes to these things. I’m a designer who works for a full service agency and has years of experience in my field. I have worked with print and production vendors for various needs on countless projects.
When someone says they want gold foil and I mean anyone, from a professional in the field to someone who has next to no experience, KNOWS what they want and mean when asking for gold foil.

I told them to share any one of the proofs I approved or any single email in our thread that ever ONCE said “Matte Gold Foil '' knowing full well that never happened because if it did I would’ve called it out and asked for an example. They ignored my request – they knew I was right.
_____

That same day (Mon, May 6th) we contacted a local printer, Gold Image Printing, for a 3day rush job which they NAILED so we could have what we wanted for our big day!

May 15th: I was fed up with PP and pushing for a full refund, even promising I wouldn’t write a bad review for it.

May 16th: They had the nerve to ask me to show them the invoice for the local printer and to mail back their misprints. I sent them a PDF of that invoice and a receipt with a tracking number for their unused misprints that very same day.

May 22: followed up since I got the confirmation the box was delivered. No response.

I have still not heard back from Print Peppermint and have disputed the charge with the bank sharing this story. Fingers crossed the bank will make things right.

_____

Everyone makes mistakes but what matters is how you handle them. I almost never write bad reviews because I’ve always found a fair middle ground with a business or as a business myself to right a wrong.

I will never be working with Print Peppermint or recommending them again. In fact I will now be cautioning people I know against the shop.

A Nightmare To Work With! Nothing Will Get Done And They Will Try To Double Charge You and Ignore You.

A nightmare to work with. I've been working with print shops for over 10 years and have never dealt with such an unorganized staff. They do not respond to emails, request to double charge you then ignore you, and it takes over a month of back and forth to get anything done. Extremely unreliable and unprofessional. I wish I didn't go with them. We wanted to try something new with the transparent cards and now we've wasted our time and money and don't know when this will be resolved or the job will be done because after 11 days now there's still no response from them.

Laborious

I wish I had read more reviews before beginning the consultation process with Print Peppermint.

I've worked in the graphic design/content creation/branding field for 12 years, and I can only describe my recent exchange with Print Peppermint as egregiously laborious. The company, unfortunately, still seems defined by malaise and disarray.

The initial consult/evaluation of my proposal went well, though my contact, "A," admitted he hadn't read all of my initial email. This fact would come to define all future correspondence, through to that of the digital representative.

Emails and attachments go unread or answered. Their replies have been abbreviated queries into budget.

I have cc'd my correspondence through this process to my client so they may understand why it’s necessary with PrPep to build in additional hours to the budget when dealing with this printer.

PrPep's seems to expect their customers to be working from an "open check-book," as additional charges, which have no equivalency to their "online card configurator" or previous quotes, are to be expected.

Once their designer creates the proof requiring your approval, you better check and re-check every detail. I’ve had to request the proof be amended multiple times in order to meet the specifications initially requested via PrPep’s primary contact, "A."

One vital detail for your consideration is that Print Peppermint makes no mention in the contract and development stages that a portion of your final print allotment that is unsuitable for use, is an acceptable (and expected) deficit that the customer should bear.

Inquiries about this prompted a refund approximate to the unusable media.

All, in all, if this company could tighten up, they could be great. But for now—far shy of remarkable quality.

I would not recommend working with…

I would not recommend working with peppermint for your project. I found the whole process to be stressful and disorganized from the beginning to the end. The prints turned out nicely (on their second try), but the whole ordeal was one problem after another - and it felt like pulling teeth to get them done, or get any kind of clear communication.

After months of politely trying to get my order to be finished correctly and shipped, I finally sent a frustrated email and voila they were ready to ship the next day. Very annoying.

I wish i had known that this company is KNOWN for "dropping the ball" amongst designers. Take your business elsewhere for sure.

We like Peppermint's service

We moved our print to Peppermint this year and been delighted. True it's not difficult stuff, just shoe box labels for shoes being made in Italy, but at this time when everyone is trying to kick start production with small weekly orders they have been invaluable. We ordered some labels on Monday 15th, saw artwork that evening and were able to send the labels to Italy yesterday. 24 hour service!

Take your business elsewhere

I've been in the advertising world for over 15 years and this is the worst customer service and most inconsistent printing I've ever experienced. In fact, I've worked a lot with them over the years for random client jobs. But lately, things have changed. I had 5 print jobs in the last 3 months done wrong, which is just unacceptable. My business relies on the printed material we had done there and it really hung up our ability to ship things out. When I got upset and had words with the owner, instead of apologizing and wanting to make it right, he told me to take my business elsewhere. Really? As an owner of a small company, I think that's bad business. I can't imagine saying that to one of my customers.

DON'T BOTHER unless your printing is very basic or you have a lot of time to waste

I ordered business cards and postcards for a new business from Print Peppermint. The postcards were very basic and arrived quickly and looked great. The business cards took a month to arrive, which is fine, since they arrived within the delivery window given at the time of the order. What is not fine was that the colors were extremely desaturated and looked faded, and the foil printing was very spotty. We tried to address these issues with Print Peppermint and the customer service was abysmal. They will take a week to respond, and that's if you keep after them to respond to you. When they do respond they are usually vague and unhelpful, so you end up doing even more of this frustrating, prolonged back and forth. They at first offered a discount on a reprint of the order that they did not print properly in the first place. Then said that a reprint would not solve the issues because "that's how the ink prints on that paper"....which is not even true. After another MONTH of going back and forth, we finally just said screw it. It had taken us a month to get to the point where they said that they were unable to fulfill the original order and offered to reprint on a different stock of lesser value for no extra charge or to print a more expensive process for an extra fee. No way were we going to wait another month for cards and risk going through this again. We ended up eating the cost of these expensive cards. We would NEVER order from here again. Waste of time and money.

Horrible.

Tried to get a quote for a project I was working on and was given the run around. A lot of back and forth emails about nothing, eventually just went to another company.

Sorry to hear about that, we are in the process of hiring new support reps now to deal with an increase in request volume. If you tell me your tkt number I can get that quote over to your right away?
