Great comms
Great comms, had my reg for sale for a while, but they regularly kept in contact. Then a sale came through I was more then happy with and sale pack came through, with clear instructions. Once DVLA did their thing, transfer done, and money in bank next day.

One male employee in particular (the one answering calls) has an extremely poor attitude and treats customers as though they are an inconvenience. The tone he uses and the way he responds to basic questions are unprofessional and disrespectful.
For many people, this process is completely new, so naturally they will have questions. Instead of providing guidance, he makes customers feel like a burden. If he is unhappy in his role, it clearly shows in the service he provides.
Beyond the poor customer service, I found the company to be dishonest and unprofessional. There are far better businesses that value their customers and treat them with respect.
Save yourself the frustration and take your business elsewhere.

I wished I’d read the reviews online before purchasing from this company.
There online sales was confusing on when I get my certificate so I called them
Up. Just’ to change from postal to email ( even though I paid extra for post “ it required email Confirmation and cancelling / changing orders and it just meant it messed with the order for a simple just send me the certificate number on email so the “ customer “
Can put it on a vehicle faster than the physical certificate arriving. When I called back up I got the same guy who was a little abrupt on the phone, just his tone more than anything. They forget without us the customer they don’t have a job or a business. I’ve now emailed to get the number but had no communication back.
Going forward I do not recommend this company and I’d just go directly to DVLA. These companies just make a cut for handling the paperwork and actually cause more of a headache than going directly to dvla. Really disappointed and I doubt this company will survive if they continue to operate like this

We’re sorry you feel disappointed, but we do need to clarify a few points for accuracy. You emailed us at 11:18am and received a reply at 12:19pm the same day, just over n hour later, which we believe is a very reasonable response time. It would also have allowed us to help you more quickly had your email included your order details, as without these it is very difficult to identify which order an enquiry relates to.
Regarding the certificate, this was changed more than once at your request. During the first phone call, you confirmed you did not want the certificate emailed. On the second call, you asked for it to be emailed instead. We have now received a further email asking for it to be posted, which is why the order has required adjustments.
We always aim to be clear and helpful, and we’re sorry if the tone on the phone came across differently than intended — that was certainly not our intention. As a DVLA-registered supplier, we follow strict procedures to ensure everything is handled correctly and legally, whether certificates are issued digitally or by post.
We appreciate your comments and wish you the best going forward.

Paid Primo for a reg but found I couldn't extend the retention as DVLA said I dont own the reg.
Primo refuse to speak to me - I would avoid this company and only buy direct from DVLA
17June 2026: Just to add in response to Primo Registrations: I sent countless emails with a copy of the payment to Primo Registrations which went unresponded to. I called your office upon which Arron who answered and who said it couldn't be discussed by phone and I had to email.
DVLA said to report you to trading standards 🙄

We’re sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your experience. However, we would like to clarify that we certainly did not refuse to speak with you. When you contacted us, we confirmed that we had no record of you having purchased the registration through Primo Registrations, and therefore we were unable to access or administer the registration on your behalf.
As the original purchaser of a registration retains certain rights, the DVLA will only deal with the person recorded against the registration. Unfortunately, if we were not involved in the original sale, there is very little we can do beyond advising accordingly.
We are always happy to assist customers where we can, and many thousands of customers have successfully bought and managed registrations through us over the years.
Nevertheless, we appreciate your comments and wish you the very best in resolving the matter with the DVLA.

Have used this company several times and so have friends/colleagues for acquiring high end dateless/short registrations. Happy to recommend.
I am confused by people complaining about illegal misspaced numbers and showing the necessary documentation. This is a legal requirement and clearly stated multiple times all over the website and when you order.

Advertised. My reg - when it wasn't for sale !!!
I was scouring sites trying to work out how much my reg - currently on retention- would be if I was to sell it. And found that this site was advertising it for sale !!!!! I had not given them any authority to do this nor enquired with them what it was worth! Beware! Plus price was over inflated. Update to their reply 27.10.25 i never ever gave any permission. I have already received an apology and was told it was " an error '

Absolutely awful! DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF BUYING FROM THESE PEOPLE. We found a plate we liked, purchased from them and after several times of chasing (and extremely rude responses from the seller), we were told that the documents they received from the seller of the plate were fraudulent and they couldn't go ahead with the transaction. They had not been truthful all the way through and eventually, nearly a month later we got our money back.
We noticed the same plate available on another site and tried to buy through them. They had said that sellers often put their plates up with various sites, and don't inform the sites when they have sold it elsewhere or have changed their mind. They contacted the owners of the plate on our behalf and the plate had been sold more than a year prior to this which is disappointing but understandable. Why Primoregistrations had to make up a story and be so rude whilst doing so, I will never know. Looking at other feedback comments, this is not the first time. I wish I had looked at Trustpilot before buying through them. Totally ruined a birthday gift as thought I had left plenty of time but due to their actions and lack of honesty, the birthday date was missed. Thanks Primoregistrations for nothing!

We do aim to be fully transparent and honest with all of our customers. In this instance, we acted in good faith based on the documents provided to us by the seller. Unfortunately, those documents later proved to be invalid, which meant we were unable to proceed with the sale. We were in contact with the DVLA and advised you as soon as we were updated from them.
We understand how upsetting it is to be told different things by different parties. It’s not uncommon for private sellers to list their number plates across multiple platforms without updating each one when a plate is sold or withdrawn, which can unfortunately result in conflicting information, but I can assure you that the information that we were supplied with wasn't valid.
We truly regret that this affected your plans, and we apologise again that we were not able to fulfil your order as expected.

Terrible attitude of a manager
Terrible attitude of a manager over the phone. I made an offer on a plate. It wasn’t accepted but they said it an offer of £10 cheaper than the original price would be which is hardly a great discount on a £400 plate. I was then sent emails and texts with FOMO (fear of missing out) marketing saying the price was only available if bought today. The next day I had the same email saying only available today so this is deliberate FOMO. On phoning and speaking to a sales manager he couldn’t have given a dam about it and was very condescending and arrogant in his attitude to the way they do this. Complete waste of time dealing with company with this attitude. I would have bought at the offered price but his attitude put me right off. I will buy elsewhere and a little cheaper so I have found now than their offer.
