I had a funded account and i made profit and requested withdrawal which should take 5 working days, After chasing for one month, i got told that i beached the trading rule of being in active more than the stipulated time. I stopped trading as i was waiting for my payout. They quick to close my account with the profit i made but could not respond when i asked why i my withdrawal has not been paid. Screams scam to me

I received a free evaluation forex account from Bullwaves, so I can’t complain too much about the cost. However, I do want to share my honest experience so others know what to expect.
Without notifying me, Bullwaves placed trades on my evaluation account. This happened without my permission or knowledge, which felt unprofessional and concerning. As a trader, I expect full control over my own account—especially during an evaluation phase.
Additionally, the firm has rules that make it very difficult for swing traders like myself to become profitable. The restrictions seem designed more for scalpers or day traders, leaving little room for holding trades longer than a few hours or days. This was a major obstacle for my trading style.
That said, because the evaluation was free, I didn’t lose any of my own money. I’m actually glad I went through the process—it helped me understand how Bullwaves operates. For anyone considering them, just be aware: you may not have full control over your account, and swing trading is not realistically supported.
Constructive suggestions for Bullwaves:
1. Never place trades on a trader’s account without explicit consent.
2. Please consider creating evaluation rules that accommodate swing trading strategies.
3. Please be transparent about any automated activity on user accounts.

Bullwaves does not place trades on client accounts under any circumstances. Our team has no mandate, no process and no intention to ever intervene in a trader's account activity. This is something we can state with complete confidence.
We understand the account was unfortunately blown, and we are sorry the evaluation did not go as hoped. However, attributing that outcome to unauthorized activity on our part is not accurate, and we feel it is important to clarify this publicly for the benefit of other readers.

My experience with Bullwaves has been extremely negative.
They denied my payout and, in my case, they removed trades that had already been reviewed and addressed previously. This makes the whole process feel inconsistent and unfair.
I was also accused of using trading software or unauthorized tools, which is completely false. I traded manually, and these accusations were used to deny my payment instead of handling the matter in a transparent and professional way.
From my personal experience, this company does not appear reliable when it comes to payouts. When a trader becomes profitable, they seem to look for reasons to reject the payment rather than honor it fairly.
I strongly advise traders to be very careful before purchasing a challenge with this firm. Based on what happened to me, I have serious concerns about their practices, their payout process, and the overall legitimacy of their business model.
Very disappointing experience.
BullWaves is a scam.
They refused to pay me and kept changing their explanation every time I asked for clarification.
First, they said some of my trades violated their consistency rules. The problem is that they were referring to the exact same trades they had already told me were removed previously.
Then they accused me of using software or automated trading, which is completely false. I never used any software, bot, or algorithm on that account.
After that, they told me my account was still active and that I could continue using it.
Then, shortly after, they sent me another email saying the account was closed for breach of conditions.
Now I no longer even have access to their platform or account dashboard.
So which version is true?
Was the account active, or was it closed?
Were the trades already removed, or are they using them again as an excuse not to pay?
How can they first say the account is still valid and then block access completely?
This is contradictory, dishonest, and unacceptable behavior. It looks like they are simply inventing reasons to avoid paying traders.
In my opinion, BullWaves should be avoided. My experience has been completely unprofessional and I believe they are not acting in good faith.

Regarding the trades you mention as previously reviewed: your prior payout period was assessed under a separate compliance review which identified a lot size inconsistency. That review was specific to that period and those findings. A new payout request triggers a new and independent compliance review of all activity since the last approved period. This is standard practice at every prop firm and is clearly set out in our trading rules. Prior reviews do not grant retrospective clearance to subsequent trading activity.
Regarding the lot inconsistency itself: this is determined by a mathematical formula applied consistently and equally across all accounts. It compares each winning position's lot size against the statistical range established by the trader's own trading history. There is no subjective judgment involved. The formula either flags a position or it does not.
Regarding the automated trading concern: we understand this accusation feels serious, and we do not make it lightly. Our compliance team flags specific, documented execution patterns. We are not able to discuss the details of individual compliance findings in a public forum, but we want to be clear that our assessments are based on objective data from the MT5 trade history, not assumptions.

I’ve had a really smooth experience with Bullwaves so far. What stood out the most is how fast and helpful their Discord mods are, you barely wait before getting a clear response. Their customer support is also solid and responsive despite the fact that I'm trading a free giveaway account, which gives a lot of confidence when dealing with a prop firm. Definitely feels like they actually care about their traders. I give them thier flowers for that though they should work on processing payouts faster maybe 24-48 hours.
