Absolutely the biggest rip off. Quoted a price to then be charged more than double. The tradesman Ben was rude and became abusive when challenged with how much he charged. I tried multiple times to contact the office regarding the costing and the tradesman. They are not interested. Very poor service. They sent a tradie that had no idea what he was doing. Talk about a mess. Everything was all over the place. It was disgusting how he left the mess all over the floor when he left. I would NEVER recommend them at all! Big rip off! I feel scammed.
FYI so you don’t get burnt like me!
I needed 2 locks change (just the barrels not the handle) My front door lock and the screen door lock.
PREMIUM LOCKSMITHS GOLD COAST. 😡 came to do it. Said he would be half an hour. Two hours later I chased him up to be told I’ll let you know if I am coming within half an hour. Another hour went by and I sent a message to say come tomorrow as it was 6pm.
What an absolute rip off!
I was totally blindsided by the young technician Ben who took 3 hours to change 2 locks ( he seemed like he didn’t know what he was doing) Not to mention a hell of a mess and didn’t even bother to clean it up.
He charged me $475.
It should have been $200-$300 maximum!
Will report it to the ACCC?
