Unauthorized recurring charge

I called what I thought was a local business to move a junction box and despite listing themselves as Lampert less than 2 miles away from where I live, it turned out to be this company, who just connect contractors to customers.

The electrician apparently drove 90 minutes to get to me, gave me a ridiculous quote, which I rejected, then left.

This was in September 2024 and I just put the $149 call-out charge down to experience.

In September 2025, exactly one year later, they charged me another $149 for no reason I can discern...

I've tried calling, and will continue to try, but I suspect this will end up as a chargeable.

I was scammed too

I was scammed too. To I called when I thought was an air conditioning repair place and they told me in order to get somebody out right away I would have to pay $149. I thought it would go toward the cost of the AC repair but it didn't. I was not told it was a subscription. They to don't show anything on their website about how to get your money back. They just charged me for another year so I'm just going to go through the better Business bureau.

Their site says that the service is…

Their site says that the service is warrantied, customer satisfaction guaranteed. I was charged $300 for a plumbing job Of the company they sent called Chimney, The company did a terrible job and didn’t fix the water pressure on the hotline. I tried to contact Home Premium Services Several times, but nobody got back to me and I just ended up giving up. This company is a scam

It's a scam

It's a scam. They charge you for an annual membership you never signed up for. Once they get your credit card info you are at their mercy and they threaten you with collections and reporting to the credit card bureaus. I don't understand how they can get away with this and why law enforcement hasn't shut them down. Avoid!!!!

Scammy Scamming Scammers!

Heard from my credit card company that a charge was coming through for $149. They said the charge was from premiumhomeservice, email info@premiumhomeservice.###. I'd never heard of the 'company' before and declined the charge. Then I found their number and called the scoundrels. They said the charge was for some masonry I'd had done - NONSENSE! Scammers! If you have a debit card, get rid of it. The credit card companies are obligated to help when charges are fraudulent. If its a debit card drawn on your checking account the banks do not have to monitor for fraud.

It's a scam

It's a scam, don't use it. I signed up their service recommended by a service provider that apparently has business relationship with. it turned out to be not useful in any way. Upon the approach of the anniversary, the company sent me info about the so-called "renewal", it only offered a phone number to cancel the service. I called and got confirmation from the rep that the service was cancelled, surprisingly a week later I got a renewal receipt from the company charging me a new membership fee. I tried to send email, call 800 number, and basically got no reply. For example when I called, I was put on a hold that lasted forever, another scamming practice by the company. AVOID IT!

Shady as it gets

Premium Home Service creates thousands of fake, unregistered & un-licensed business listings on Google for plumbers, electricians, etc... and fills them with fake 5 star reviews. This is all illegal under both State and Federal laws, as well as being against Google policies.

When people call what they think is a local company, PHS then pretends to be that company, schedules an appointment, and takes your money.

Then they send out a service notice to random sub-contractors who may or may not show up and may or may not be licensed.

Requests for refunds are denied. Most people aren't even aware that it was Premium Home Service that scammed them, thinking it was still a local business that's just incompetent.

They have an F rating with the BBB for scamming and defrauding people all over the country.

Is this a scam? Can't tell yet...

Took an in-person ask and three phone calls (so far) to get an invoice. Cost was about the same as using any plumber. This 'company' is the equivalent of two guys and a truck -- you just call them when you need something and they call whomever (I got a plumber who was to repair a leaking toilet and didn't bring a wax ring!). Charged extra for travel time.
