Premier Health Solutions - unethical
Premier Health Solutions is a third party health insurance company with unethical practices in my opinion. I recently moved from California to Texas and needed new health insurance since my old insurance does not have a network in Texas. I was contacted by Premier , which actually works through Americas Insurance producers. I found this web of companies work together to try to manipulate and trick you. I told the initial agent I wanted health insurance but by the end of our conversation I had not only basic health insurance but I also had 2 supplemental health insurance policies . So here is where the web gets tricky : the supplemental was through Manhattan Life, but much to my surprise I also was signed up for “voluntary discount “ company, Allstate ID, which also is with awa- Allied worker’s association! When I tried to cancel all these supplemental policies I was hit with roadblocks from Premier health Solutions. Manhattan and Allstate could not cancel my policies so they transferred me back to Premier. I was told Premier had to cancel the policies. However, Premier gave me the run around, then hung up on me. They would not answer the phone, I tried to email them but found out they blocked me!! I eventually had to get in contact with Manhattan Life who helped me. They called premier and stayed on the call and interjected when necessary to inform the agent that the policies needed to be canceled per customer request. After being on the phone for 1.5 hours I was finally able to get the unnecessary supplemental medical insurance policies cancelled!! Premier Health Solutions is unethical , inappropriate and untrustworthy! Beware of this company and my advice is: Stay Away !!!
