Free resources are a tremendous service to newbies
While I haven't had a chance yet to use their marketing services, the free library resources and Discord site have been extremely helpful as we attempt to craft our first Kickstarter campaign.
While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more
To protect platform integrity, every review on our platform—verified or not—is screened by our 24/7 automated software. This technology is designed to identify and remove content that breaches our guidelines, including reviews that are not based on a genuine experience. We recognise we may not catch everything, and you can flag anything you think we may have missed. Read more

While I haven't had a chance yet to use their marketing services, the free library resources and Discord site have been extremely helpful as we attempt to craft our first Kickstarter campaign.
Matt helped us raise a six-figure Kickstarter, that was way beyond what we expected going in! We originally just wanted to raise enough to cover our first manufacturing run and prove there was real demand, but the campaign ended up passing our goals by a lot. The ROAS was strong, the launch brought in real momentum for the brand, and we came out of it with more breathing room than we thought we would have.
Honestly, it was a great problem to have. We went into Kickstarter hoping we could make the product at the right scale, and by the end we actually had to place an extra order with our manufacturer just to keep up with demand.
Started working with Matt on various projects since 2023 and it's been a great experience so far. Prelaunch Club materials helped me land a marketing role at a very good company and I also own a company that uses these resources regularly.
Thanks for everything!
Important detail is I only used the free resources and consultations. But I got an amazing amount of help! Every Tuesday I got experts to look at my Kickstarter and give me personalized advice that led to the success of my campaign!
I just want to take a minute and say Thank You Matt Olick for all the work, support, and wisdom he provides. We love to help the community with Matt providing atlas-like support bearing all the heavy lifting.
So on behalf of the community old and new, I just want to acknowledge you and say thanks for all the time you put in on and off the clock and that we appreciate all that you do. ❤️
Working with Matt at Prelaunch was invaluable to my campaign. Some of the other big players in the space were fairly dismissive and no help at all. Matt and Prelaunch spent actual time and effort educating me, and getting my campaign in the state it needed to be. We raised $600k together, and I couldn’t have done it without them!
I will always feel I owe my career to Matt and prelaunch club! The amount of knowledge they offer for free and their true desire to help everyone is just...WOW!
Keep it up guys!
Best place to start for Kickstarter
Matt's resources for building up a Kickstarter Campaign are some of the best resources out there! The fact that he offers these resources for Free prove that he truly cares about the creators and not just the money.
We used Matt's resources to build up as much as we could and then were lucky enough to hire him hourly to run our advertising campaigns for the pre-launch and throughout the Kickstarter campaign.
We ended up raising $174K for our physical product (Velaflame) which allowed us to finish the Kickstarter successfully and eventually turn it into an Ecommerce business that still runs on the same Shopify platform that Matt helped us create during the Prelaunch phase.
Working with Prelaunch Club was the best investment decision we've made.
Outstanding service! We've been working with the Prelaunch Club for two years now, on multiple large projects. Matt has helped us immensely in establishing our company on Kickstarter—five stars across the board.
Matt Olick and the independent partners at Prelaunch Club (Dan, Erlick, and many more who advised us on our project) are at the very top of the crowdfunding industry. They know their stuff and have incredibly in-depth documents detailing how to run a successful crowdfunding campaign. Their focus is with Kickstarter as the main crowdfunding channel, but I still found that they were quite adept with crowdfunding on other sites like Backerkit (among others).
Our project is "The Gunslinger's Guide to Rexfald" a DnD 3rd-party supplement. During our prelaunch and live campaign, it was the assistance and support of the partners at Prelaunch Club that made it possible. We were able to set a game plan for free with the creators here, and then we got to select our partners and work out a rate that worked for us with whoever we wanted to work with (Dan Thut was our go-to).
We joined every weekly call, we got feedback on every issue, and we got first-rate connected through Prelaunch Club. The creators here make money on an upkeep basis - and they work with you directly to make your campaign come to life. I could not have asked for better assistance with my project.
As a fresh-out-of-college type looking to get their start on Kickstarter, Prelaunch Club gave me the resources I so desperately needed at a time when I was scrambling. First, the absolutely massive library of management content allowed me to grow my audience on my own, then, when I was ready, Prelaunch Club offered a forum for finding the managers I needed to elevate my campaign to the level I wanted it to be.
For both ease of access and depth of knowledge, I highly recommend Prelaunch Club. Other services (Launchboom, Jellop, etc) have higher costs, but increased management (IE, more hands-off for you). If you want everything done for you, those other options exist. If you want to keep control of your campaign while accessing high-tier talent at the same time, or are just getting started and want to find what is right for you, you cannot go wrong with these guys!
The PreLaunch Club is an amazing resource. It's not just a single point of reference. It's a community that welcomes questions and offers expert advice... nearly all of it free of charge, but you can also connect with independent professionals who charge very reasonable fees for one-on-one expertise.
If you are thinking about any type of crowdfunding, the PreLaunch Club is going to be incredibly helpful.
The resources prelaunch club provide are outstanding! We hit a £200k+ campaign (from a £15k goal) on Kickstarter using prelaunch club’s advise and guides
I had high hopes when I chose to work with Jeremy at Pre-Launch Club for my crowdfunding campaign. I had spent years developing my product and invested my last savings into making it happen. From the beginning, I emphasized that this was my last shot and that I needed hands-on support, especially with managing the ads and building a community of backers. Jeremy reassured me that he could provide this level of involvement, and based on that trust, I decided to move forward.
Unfortunately, the experience was far from what I expected. While Jeremy did provide some advice and built a landing page for me, the actual support I needed—active help with the ads and the campaign itself—wasn't there. I spent thousands of dollars on ads based on his guidance, but the results were disappointing. Despite Jeremy’s initial confidence in the campaign's potential, we failed to even reach $5k, whereas another consultant, whom Jeremy had warned me against, helped a competitor raise $31k for just $4k.
As the campaign progressed, communication dwindled, and I was left feeling alone in the process. When I reached out for more support, Jeremy suggested ending the campaign after I had already invested significant money, but by then, I was too far into it to pull back. Ultimately, the lack of hands-on help and inconsistent guidance led to a failed campaign, leaving me not only financially drained but also deeply frustrated.
I understand there are many factors in play with crowdfunding, but I was promised something different: the commitment and guidance of an expert who would work with me every step of the way. I believe that if Jeremy had been more transparent about his availability or declined the project from the start, I could have sought help elsewhere and potentially avoided this loss.
In hindsight, I regret not seeking help from someone who could truly deliver the support I needed. This project meant everything to me, and I feel let down by the lack of accountability and the broken promises I received from Pre-Launch Club.
I hope this feedback helps others make a more informed decision.
