We had a new front door fitted today a composite door
The two guys Chris and Bob left a excellent job 💯. Any mess was removed away right away. Chris even went through the process of showing me how to open and close the door

Poor customer service
Reported door handle that has came off bi fold door due to worn metal component. At time of reporting on Friday 7th November I advised I could not lock the door. I was advised someone would call me back. On Saturday 8th November I emailed as I had not received call back. On Wednesday 12th November I received a call asking for my warranty number which I provided , I advised the door could still not be locked and was told customer service would call me back. 14th November 2025 I have again had to phone as no communication from them, I advised door has now been unable to be locked for over a week and the lady advised that was “not good”. I gave my warranty number again to be told it couldn’t be found. It transpires the number printed on my warranty certificate does not match what is on the system! I requested cost to supply and fit and a cost for supply only and advised I need to get this sorted ASAP. Email received with cost to supply and fit only with no breakdown of handle cost and fitting cost separately which meant I could not see how much it was for supply only. I emailed back to ask for this cost and to request my warranty to be resent with the correct details on it to receive an email saying sorry out of office till Tuesday 18th November. That’s another delay and more days that the door cannot be locked. Very poor customer service. It’s a shame really because the product is nice it’s the aftercare that has been a let down. I was planning on having all windows done in 2026 but will now have to look elsewhere due to my customer care experience. Hopefully on Tuesday they can advise a date ASAP to have the door handle finally delivered or delivered and fitted once full cost details have been provided.

First of all the doors were purchased directly by us and the order confirmed by us, which therefore contracts us to you not the tradesman. We had to approve the order not the tradesman before they would be manufactured. We paid the order on behalf of ourselves not the tradesman. I think this clarifys this issue.
Second of all each time we contacted you , we were met with resistance when requesting our guarantee. After speaking with citizens advice they clarified the contract was between us and you directly and that the guarantee should be in our name. When this was advised and the correspondence emailed to you directly the guarantee was then issued to us as it should have been in the first instance. With the incorrect policy number on it which has since been rectified. Not sure where you have gathered that we could not obtain assistance from the tradesman, when the tradesman was very helpful and advised us directly that the warranty should be in our name and not his. He does work for us on a regular basis , we have a good relationship with him. You are basically trying to state that a tradesman that fitted the doors is now tied to us for 10 years and in charge of our warranty despite him not placing the order or paying for it. The only assistance we have been unable to obtain is from yourselves directly.
Thirdly with regards to the door handle we are more than aware that it was outside of warranty , we were willing to pay for it which was advised directly to your office. You provided the handle as a goodwill due to the terrible customer service we had received and that is why we were advised to directly go with any future issues to the manager. I have this in email should you require it.
Finally Yes you provided the door handle for free as a goodwill but you also suggested us to “review” the trustpilot post. It was made clear that the handle was free due to the way we were dealt with. Please bare in mind we had to drive to your office in order to get a response to the handle request due to you failing to answer any correspondence. This is knowing our door could not be locked for a fortnight. After driving there we were given the handle which we fitted ourself.
Regardless of who you think the guarantee belongs to , it doesn’t change the terrible customer care experience we had.

With regards to other reviews not sure why you feel that this comment is relevant: trust pilot is for customers honest reviews and opinions to help assist future customers to make an informed choice.I refute your comment that my opinion does not reflect the service provided in this case. If you don’t want to receive 2 star reviews then you should maybe concentrate on improving your customer care services towards your customers. The review was on your customer service as stated in the title I cannot fault the actual product which was also stated on my post but you’ve not challenged that part of the review just the negative part. Your reply has only been uploaded since we have not acknowledged your request to “review” the original post which speaks volumes in itself.

I’ve just had windows and doors replaced by Precision Windows, Stirling and it’s been a positive experience. No high pressure selling and much cheaper than other quotes. The quote ticked all my boxes, argon filled, low e etc. so I knew what I was purchasing. The fitters turned up on time and did a great job. I felt that I got a personal service from the staff there and they went out of their way to help with my decisions. John A and John B, thank you so much! (I haven’t been asked to write this review but wanted to recommend)

We had our windows and doors fitted yesterday by Precision Doors Newmains and can honestly give the whole team a 5 star rating . From Start to finish choosing doors and windows with Euans help.. and competitive pricing and then the fitting of all in one day ..and the fitters Gerry,Callum Paul and Craig were excellent and expertly fitted our windows with minimum fuss and cleared all the mess. I would highly recommend Precision Windows ..thank you all.

We had replacement Patio Doors fitted in October, quality is excellent the fitters were fast tidy and very pleasant to deal with more than pleased with their work! We had all our windows replaced and 2 doors with Precision a couple of years ago the front door one of the glass panels was blown they replaced it no problems and again quality work, highly recommend this company quality work at a competitive price!!

After being recommended Precision by family & friends, Cannot recommend highly enough! From start to finish, Jamie with arranging it all, Ged for coming out twice to measure (opted to add on adjoining window) with a few challenges thrown in too, I can't fault Alistair & Kai for their professionalism & expertise. Everything looks fantastic, inside & out, even cleaned up after! Will use this company again & again. Very happy customer with a new wind/rain proof, secure door 😁

Totally satisfied with new Composite Door.
Following the highly satisfactory replacement of our front door by Precision Windows and Doors, we decided to replace the back door too. As before, Precision Windows and Doors provided the best of advice and before sales service. It was an easy choice to select the Composite Door for the rear of the house as the new composite front door fulfilled all our requirements. On the day of the installation, the fitter, Sandy arrived and went about the job in a very professional manner. On completion of the installation Sandy left the area clean and tidy with no sign of work having been carried out. He also took the time to demonstrate the operation of the door handle and locking mechanism offering advice on the easiest way to open, close and lock the door. The new back door, like the front door looks stunning and we can honestly say that the level of service received along with the quality of the product has given true customer satisfaction. Worth a five star rating.

Fantastic end to end experience. Input from experienced surveyor helped with making choices on colour, glass etc. Fitters arrived at 08:00 on both days, they were very pleasant and worked through horrible weather conditions with no breaks, cleaned up internally and externally. Delighted with workmanship 👏👏👏

First winter with a composite door manufactured by Precision Windows & Doors and so far it has been excellent. Ours is an exterior south west facing door exposed to prevailing weather, retaining heat and blocking sound from nearby roads. The main test for us will be the summer, the sun hits us from 10am until sunset, warping our old door, so an update to follow.

We've worked with Precision for over four years now in a professional capacity. I co own Outside In Garden Rooms and Precision have been our principal supplier for all our UPVc windows and doors. The service we receive from the entire team is always excellent. The sales and estimating team are super efficient, the despatch team are also super flexible ensuring the whole process works perfectly in line with our timings which are critical. If there's ever any last minute changes to specifications, the team always step up and help us out. Post sales, the technical support aspect again is fantastic and super responsive should there be any issues which there rarely are. I'm also replacing all of my house windows personally with Precision as they've been so good over the years. Clearly I highly recommend them!
