Not for people who can’t take too much pepper in their food (like me)
I ordered a selection of curry’s as a valentine present for my partner (after hearing The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X use them for a curry challenge),who likes a curry and can take spice, so order some extra hot and hot ones. I also got myself some, but I can’t take spice so ordered mild dishes for me. 6 curry’s in total.I chose dishes you don’t get from the local takeaway. My partners overall review is nice but the railway boti was a bit shy on lamb. The reason I have given 3 stars is that each of my mild curries aren’t really mild and were spicy for me. Which is a shame cause a nice mild curry is usually very flavoursome. So if anyone is like me and wouldn’t go hotter than a korma don’t get for yourself. Treat your other family members, but not chance it. I couldn’t find anywhere on there website to review the dishes.

Hi Cassie - many thanks for your review and try our meals. I'm sorry to see you found your mild dishes too spicy for your taste. Our butter chicken and chasni are indeed our milder dishes but we appreciate that everyone's taste palettes differ.
Our korma is perhaps our mildest dish but our butter chicken is definitely our most popular.
I hope your partner enjoyed their spicier meals and might be tempted to try some more dishes in future.
Great quality food…
I ordered a one off delivery as a Valentines treat for my husband. The website was really easy to use, there was an amazing range of dishes and the delivery options were very easy to arrange.
The team were incredibly helpful and prompt when I had a problem and the food was good quality, well packaged and delicious.
Highly recommend, we will definitely be back.

The best Indian food
Absolutely love ordering from here the dishes are all absolutely delicious as is the pilau rice and the Tandoori Nan Bread. This is now our 2nd order and i will always order instead of getting takeaway. Its worth every penny and more for sure. Keep up the good work :-)

No artificial additives, delicious and authentic!
I bought two products from our local farm shop, the onion bhajis and the South Indian Garlic Chicken, both were delicious and very authentic in flavour. What impressed me also was the total lack of artificial ingredients (flavourings, colourings etc.,) so common now in most food products we buy. Will be buying a lot more as the range of products is quite varied and includes vegetarian options.

Came across Kumars Curry Club after listening to Chris Moyles on Radio X. Ordered a Radio X special box as I’m always a Korma person and wanted to try different ones. Box arrived on time and frozen. First night we microwaved and it tasted amazing.. full of flavour, lots of meat! Second night we oven cooked and again amazing so you can do either and still fantastic. Reasonably priced, great to keep in the freezer instead of ordering a local takeaway. We’ve just ordered our second box as have several friends! Highly recommend!

My order was a Christmas gift. Unfortunately, modern technology (not me of course) inserted my address for the delivery instead of the intended recipient’s. The Kumar admin staff couldn’t have been more helpful or pleasant and righted my wrongs. As for the curries, they were apparently always delicious. Excellent company to deal with. Thank you!

I just tasted the chicken madras and knew immediately it was a bad idea buying this product. There was absolutely no flavor just chicken boiled in half cooked tomatoes. The oil was stale. I am beating myself with so much anger. How could people do this ? This is a shame and scam .

Average to poor chicken and lamb curries
I ordered a variety of chicken and lamb curries. The chicken curries varied from quite nice to okay. The lamb curries were a big disappointment as the lamb was rather greasy. I will not be buying anymore.

Hi Linda - Im sorry to hear that you did not enjoy some of your meals from us and our dishes only warranted a 2 star review.
Im glad you found some of our chicken dishes to be quite nice but am a little puzzled that you found the lamb to be greasy.
We do not add any ghee and use of oil is minimal, making for a healthier dish than many takeaways and ready meals. Greasy has never been used to describe our meals at all.
Was there a specific dish you found to be most disappointing? I see you had our lamb bhuna which is one of our 2 gold star award winning dishes.
