I was disappointed to read Potage has closed. They were a god send during lockdown! I ordered many times and enjoyed all of the meals - just the right size and very tasty. Shame :-(

Gift for new parents
I ordered the new parents box to gift friends who welcomed their second baby and their feedback has been 1) the food tastes wonderful! 2) it has been so great to have this in the freezer in the first couple of weeks of the new baby bubble!

So far so good
I have tried meals from several suppliers, and so far I have tasted 3 of yours, can't remember which.
Can honestly say yours beat the others by miles.
But don't rush me, I also like fish and chips, Chinese and Indian food. At 89 years I don't have the appetite I once had.

I didn't expect it to be frozen
No disrespect to the business owners, but I genuinely didn't expect to receive a bunch of boxes with frozen food (from aubergine bake to chocolate brownie). I've probably missed this when I kept reading about fresh and seasonal ingredients on the website.
I'm not sure how better this is compared to buying a bit cheaper pre-made non-frozen meal box at a local supermarket (and if necessary chucking it in the freezer to oven bake later).
The need to wait for a week for the delivery isn't appealing either.
Not convinced at the moment. Sorry!

We deliver Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday every week. You placed your order on Thursday 3rd November so the next available date was Tuesday 8th November and your order delivered on this date.
I will pass on your feedback but I'm sorry that our meals are not what you are looking for.
POOR PACKAGING …
I have ordered seven dishes from Potage so far, though have only eaten two until now. The quality was good and the quantity generous.
My only concern is with my last delivery. I received two dishes that rattled around in a box too big for the contents, the cooler bag no longer served a purpose and the covers to the dishes were wet, having defrosted. Into the bargain, the package was left outside the front door of the building; thankfully a neighbour brought in the said package.

Free range British chicken&Chorizo with Butter Beans and Free Range British Chicken and thought they are both really good. Very tasty and good value

Not complete meals can't microwave half of them
Half the meals were oven only and were not complete meals e.g. meatballs but no pasta. Not suitable for people with disabilities who need easy complete meals.

The meal descriptions, the list of ingredients and heating guidelines are provided on our website but I'm sorry if you weren't aware of this before you ordered. We don't provide side dishes for some of our meals so that customers can choose what to add themselves based on their preference and dietary requirements.
