I want to give a good experience

I want to give a good experience, I can use those automatic machines to collect the parcels, the person that deliver the parcels is always friendly. Good service. The only thing that could make it 5 stars is faster same-day delivery or next-day, as well as keeping the employees well paid.

Great online service where all your parcels gather, and how it connects with your address on the book. Great job there.

Terrible, avoid it

Terrible. It's the worst company for sending/receiving items. I always had to wait, they NEVER answer neither make it easier for you to change adress/pickup points. They just don't care because they don't have any competence, which is sad, because they suck,

Worlds most incompetent postal service

Worlds most incompetent postal service! Parcel were suppose to arrive at 1st december, it were at right town by then, it have been 4 days now and suddenly it is in neighbouring town, it seems they are incompetent jakcasses so it doesnt arrive this week, wonder where it is after weekend 🤬 Seriously I recommend always use their competitor Matkahuolto if possible instead!

I literally pay EXTRA to avoid Posti
This company is terrible, although you can select a "personal" pick-up point, nothing has ever been delivered to my selected pick-up point during a period exceeding 365 days. I receive an average of 50 packages a year, and send around 20. At times, I have to visit multiple locations to collect packages in a 5km radius. So far, 5 of my sent items have been returned without any notification as to why delivery was unseccesfull. It's worth pointing out most of these shipments go to family members in The Netherlands. I've come to a point where I pay extra for DHL.

Update 11/30/21 - From my experience, I feel that Posti deliverys have been way more accurate thatn in the past. I still don't use them for outgoing packages, but during that last 6 months, I did not have any issues with receiving packages besides the change of a pick-up point due to it being full, but that's understandable.

Unbelievable package management and service

I came here not to write just one time random dissatisfaction. There have been many events which made me write here.

First of all when one moves to new address Posti does not seem to know which package to forward to new address. I had change my address from Turku to Helsinki. I made an online purchase and the destination address was Helsinki, but it went to Turku. I thought I used my old address by mistake. Luckily, I needed to travel to Turku and went to get the package. I check the address label and there was new correct address. I asked a Posti personnel who was unable to give me any clarification why it happened. This is just an one event. I have experienced many times this kind of issues.

Either the Posti website is very buggy or their whole system does not work properly. I made an online purchase and received the package from Posti service point. I wanted to return the package and tried to get locker code via Posti's website but the website give me error saying that the package has not been received.

Tracking codes do not work. For example I sent one package with a tracking code JJFI64188120040254440. I am not sure whether or not the package have been delivered to the recipient. Based on the tracking information the package is still on the way. And again this is not the only one exceptional case.

I made a web purchase recently and unfortunately, I again used Posti as a carrier. The package was supposed to be delivered to the nearest pickup point (5 min walk). I got notification in my phone saying that the package is ready to be picked up at nearest post office (5km far). There are 3 smart post pickup points in my area, but no you I can not get my package there for some reason. This was not the first time that has occured to me. I contacted Posti customer service and told them that either return the package tot he sender or deliver to correct pick up point and I am ready to wait couple of days. The person said that she will try to make it happen. Surprise!! I got notification that package is ready to be picked up from same post office where I did not want to go. After all I went there and picked up the package and decided that now it is time to totally avoid this freaking company's service for good. I have decided to not to buy from those store offering only Posti as a carrier.

Once I waited for 20 minutes in phone just to get my turn in Posti’s customer care. When finally it got connected Posti’s end had technical issue and phone got terminated. Luckily, the dude called me back. Probably I paid more that 5 euros for the call.

When same thing happens time and again then you are forced to think whether the company is run by some stupid heads. When a company does not listen to customer it will vanish totally. It is just a matter of time.

On the other hand I had used Postnord in the past and whenever I had issues they were very prompt to resolve it.

I am a costumer from Malaysia..I bought a cd from Finland ... the seller sent my goods from there on 15th July ... until now (05 Sept) if I track the goods..it says it is still in helsinki and in travel..I asked for help from the seller to ask at the post counter..they said that the goods had been sent..but until now my goods do not know where they sent and I bought a lot of cds from europe..the slowest to get to malaysia in one months only ... posti is indeed irresponsible .. very very very bad service

I ordered hot plate (for grill and pancake) this type of electronic is only common in Asia thats why I order them from Hong-Kong in early April 2020. I understand because of the situation of Covid19 this year, it got delaid from Hong-Kong because of the flight limitation for AirMail. Those were ok. It arrived in Finland on 3rd June, I paied the customs fees immediately and so far so good, tulli registered my payment and sent that to Posti to handle it while I stay tuned on my OmaPosti. BUT THEN, my package stuck somewhere IN POSTI no notification no nothing! I asked nearest Posti office they said I SHOULD WAIT FOR WHILE. I checked my OmaPosti which only shown "Event" on my shippmemt status and ITS BEEN more than 3 F...G WEEKS MY PACKAGE STUCKS SOMEWHERE I DONT KNOW WHERE!!!

Delivery never arrived yet Posti insists that he package was delivered sucessfully.
Had to demand refund directly from Amazon because Posti refused to help or be liable for their mistake.

Ridiculous
I'm laughing for not crying. The have a sort of agreement with the personeel of Citymarket and it seems that this could be one of the first red-flag. Personnel trained to be cashier or for fulfill fridgeretors are handling also post services. This is really the last time I'm gonna deal with them. They don't know what they're doing. It's a joke-company. I mean, I gave up. This is not a post-service, as already someone else wrote, this is a russian roulette, you simply send a package, and then who knows what will happen next.

Avoid it if you can.

The worst delivery service

The worst delivery service I ever tried. Always tell me to go to the office to get my packages and never deliver them to my address. What’s worse is that they cannot even recognize my address in Kuopio, for some people who don’t know Kuopio, Kuopio is a very small city. And the postman can’t even recognize my address in such a small city. Since these post officers has been dealing with hundreds of packages’ addresses in such a small city and they can’t even recognize my address, it’s ridiculous. It’s like a math teacher who can’t even count from one to ten. What’s even worse is that when they couldn’t recognize the address, they sent it back to Helsinki where it came from and it cost so much time, which really pissed me off. Now they are sending it to the nearest post office and it has already been a long time and the package still hasn’t arrived. All my family and friends are worried and concerned with it. Therefore, if you are new here, do not use or even try posti, even if you successfully got your delivery, it’s most likely that you are the lucky one out of other thousands of unlucky people. Yeah, like someone has already said, it’s lottery. It’s all but gambling. Let’s burn it to the ground and let it rotten by all means. Making it exit the market, let a better delivery service thrive and take its place.

Terrible company in every respect

Terrible company in every respect, but it was better several years ago. Their customer service is always rude. Last time I ask this clueless woman a question and she tells me "I'll send you an email", then completely ignores my question in the email. The time before that I had a problem with something and the guy tells me he'll call me back, and never did.

When they hold you on the line, they have the whole thing set up to make you fill up with rage. There is music playing, then it suddenly stops making you think they're about to take your call, then an automated message plays. Then the whole thing keeps repeating and stopping in different patterns to annoy you. They just made the whole thing to make people hate them for some reason.

When I called today they kept me on hold for almost an hour, and when I had my call answered the person sounded so lazy and laid back. They just never sound like they answer a lot of calls even though they claim they're always busy. And this happens in other places/companies in Finland too.

My problem started when from Espoo

My problem started when from Espoo, Finland to Tallinn, Estonia was sent a big package. For 4 days package did not move at the start. Seller told me he sent package and sent a e-mail to posti to find the package (with all package details). It took about a week for Posti to find the package. And it took 16 days for me to get package to Estonia. For me good experience with this company, but this time was a bit different. Overall I can say Posti is "average".
