Information provided by various external sources

Fence-Aid, the company behind the Post Buddy fence post repair system was founded in 2010 by husband and wife, Wayne and Gaby Phelan. The family business based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, first began in the Phelans’ back garden when a broken fence post caused their fence to lean. Wayne did not relish the thought of digging out and replacing the damaged fence post. He knew that existing products on the market made for back-breaking, time-consuming work. Looking for a quicker, easier solution, Wayne, a former Development Project Manager, came up with new ideas on how to fix a leaning fence.……..and Post Buddy was born. Both Wayne and Gaby committed themselves to their new business venture and Gaby uses her experience as a PA to ensure Fence-Aid’s customers receive top quality service. Together Gaby and Wayne continue to grow and develop the company.

Easy To Do And Lasts

I used post buddies on a fence about 5 years ago and they are still rock solid.
The videos show how easy it is to use the straps and is so much cheaper and neater than putting more concrete and posts in the ground. And I can do it myself. 😊

The item/parcel was delivered today

The item/parcel was delivered today, Sunday 20th October. Parcel was sealed and labelled but the box was empty so a complete waste of time and effort.
I have asked for the correct item, 'post buddy' to be delivered so will just have to wait and see what they do.

Didn’t work for us

Watched the YouTube video again just before installing, did exactly as illustrated but unfortunately the 4x4 posts are wobbling the same as before.Taking into account that there are no fence panels connected to the posts at all just some wooden rails and that’s because we look out onto open fields. We expected a much better outcome. We were going to send them back because we purchased 3 packs and with the added delivery the cost was £56:30p but we couldn’t be bothered with the hassle. I might dig around the base leave them in place and add some cement but that defeats the object. So I can only give a 1* because there is no 0.

Works even better than i imagined it…

Works even better than i imagined it would, now gone from a wobbly post that made the fence panel move in the wind to a rock solid mounting post, really easy to knock in and the pack of screws i purchased at same time fit well and secure it nicely, I would definitely recommend these and hopefully it will last the test of time and save me replacing the fence post

Upstanding post.

Post Buddy worked far better than I expected given that is such a simple system and the post involved was well past its best! Easy to install even among the bushes around the original post. I probably should have replaced the post but this was a good repair that should hold for some time. Low cost and not difficult to install given a big enough hammer!
