Do yourself a favor, and buy elsewhere

I bought a bag from Poshmark that was advertised as authentic. When it came, it looked inauthentic and was damaged to the point that it couldn’t be used. Poshmark approved the return and I shipped it back out immediately. Since then, the package has been traveling back and forth (according to tracking history) without reaching a destination. This has been going on for like a month. I reached out to Poshmark multiple times about it, and they’ve done nothing. I know they have no control over postal issues, but still, just give me the damn refund. They shouldn’t allow people to sell fakes in the first place. As a seller too, I’ve decided to pull all my items and delete my account as soon as possible. Awful customer service.

Poshmark bad experience/senior citizen

The Skechers shoes I thought were the exact same Slip Resistant model I love came but had a different design in that added was a piece behind the heel. I find them uncomfortable and sent 12 photos. The "team" would not refund my payment nor send me a return label.
BEWARE. Poshmark is more interested in money than seniors.

Poshmark needs to give sellers the…

Poshmark needs to give sellers the option to deny returns/refunds if they please because there’s just way too many scammy buyers that just buy stuff, wear it or use it and then try to return it back to the seller. It’s such a scam when you’re a seller and these scammy buyers are messing with your livelihood. LET US HAVE THE OPTIONS TO DECLINE RETURNS AND HAVE NO REFUNDS!!!!!

Don’t trust Poshmark with inventory or…

Don’t trust Poshmark with inventory or money. I am a top seller with more than 300 sales a month an they restricted my account for too many cancelled orders despite them being buyer requested. Then I saw someone’s post on reddit and was appalled they had the same experience:

Poshmark is not differentiating between buyer requested cancellations, cancellations due to the combined shipping feature, or seller initiated cancellations. It all counts against your 3% over 90 days cancellation rate.
And once you get your account back, you cannot cancel a single sale. They will immediately re-suspend you.
Good luck getting Posh support to reply to you. Many people are having this problem and support is MIA.

How do sellers cancel buyers' orders AFTER being shipped out????

I have purchased a few items from Poshmark in the past with no issues at all. But after I changed my email address, I couldn't find anywhere to change it in my online Poshmark account. I finally asked the Wizard of Google how to do it, and was given the information that I had to open Poshmark's app on my phone to do it. I don't like putting apps on my phone that link any money accounts, so I emailed Poshmark Support for assistance. None ever came.
Well, I'm weak & there were items I had fallen in lust for, so I went ahead and opened the app. Please believe me - when anything starts out badly, it just gets worse...
I proceeded to make 3 orders from separate sellers. One was cancelled the next day. I didn't even receive a message from the seller, just a cancellation notice from Poshmark. Then I focused on tracking the other 2 items and, since it was during the nationwide freeze, I wasn't surprised when both got held up mid-shipping. But I got concerned when neither of the items showed up at their next destination after 8 days. So I tried to contact both sellers and received a pop-up message saying I couldn't contact that user at this time. After trying again the next day with the same result, I had to resort to sending a message to the dreaded so-called "Customer Support". I did receive a non-helpful response confirming the cancellations but no information about why any of the orders were cancelled, no explanation about why they were cancelled AFTER being shipped, and no help to understand why I couldn't contact any of the sellers and why there were no listings in their "Closets".
So either they all bugged-out of Poshmark after cancelling my orders, or they blocked me. I figure they had either sold my orders & not closed the listing, or decided they could get more $ and relisted them. Just really odd that the same thing happened with 3 different sellers.
So, as I did with TEMU, I had to do the hard thing and close my account with Poshmark. It's like being married to a cheating husband, if you give them another chance you'll just get ******-over again!
Note to Poshmark: At least set up CHAT so buyers can let some steam out! Might save you reviews like this ;-)

Worse company ever worse app ever. I got scam with $1,145 dollars!!!!! I receive multiple emails about I need to deposit $50 then $100 then $300 the $500 and after sending those last $500 they were asking me for $1,000 in order for me to receive a shipping label to send it to the costumer. I am in $20,000 of debt, I was just trying to make a profit of it and what I got back was just a scam that I am force to accept a promo of $1000 if I want the shipping label from a dress that I was trying to sell. After so many tries guess what. Nothing shows on my end, no “this product has been sold” nothing!!!!! Unbelievable!!! Worse app ever, if you really want your money and you can’t spend what you don’t have then DO NOT USE THIS APP. If I would’ve been able to give this shit while a 0 stars I would’ve. Poshmark Closet Partner - What Happened To My Items?

On December 16th Uber picked up 10 items that I was sending to a Poshmark Closet Partner. This partner was to sell my items on a consignment basis. On December 16th, the Closet Partner contacted me to let me know that Uber had sent her a suspicious text asking about the items in my bag. On December 17th I messaged my partner asking if she received the 10 items and if she didn't let me know what was missing. As of today, the Closet Partner assigned to me has not replied to my repeated requests for information. I have contacted Poshmark Customer Support for assistance and have received AI generated replies that they are working on it and must allow 4 weeks for items to show up for sale on their app. It has been longer than 4 weeks and at this point I'm concerned that I'll need to write these items off as a loss. Poshmark has done nothing to resolve this issue and I'm at a loss as to what to do next.

Terrible customer service and unfair…

Terrible customer service and unfair return policy. The seller @ sugar333mama
I bought a dress from Poshmark and it arrived with a defective zipper. The zipper was clearly faulty and broke as soon as I tried the dress on. I contacted Poshmark immediately, provided details, and expected a refund or at least a return approval.
Instead, they refused to refund me and would not accept the return, even though the item was defective when received. This is completely unacceptable and shows zero accountability for selling damaged items.
I am extremely disappointed with Poshmark’s customer support and their lack of fairness toward buyers. I will not be purchasing from this platform again and do not recommend it to anyone who expects protection when receiving defective items

OK, not great.

Seems to work fine, but not perfect. Lots of notifications if you put something up for sale, so when you are notified of a buyer, it's easy to miss. Not sure how much my items are being seen by potential buyers, but I'm not interested in paying extra for better visibility. In my experience, it's a fine app, but I'd like to find a better option for selling my clothes online

Holding Seller Funds Hostage — This Is a Hustle, Not a Marketplace

Title: Holding Seller Funds Hostage — This Is a Hustle, Not a Marketplace
After years of using this platform, I noticed a shift — and now it’s clear why. Ever since the company was sold to a foreign conglomerate (Naver), the entire seller experience has gone downhill.
They intentionally delay releasing your funds. I had to write them directly just to get MY money, otherwise it would have just sat there — locked — until I spent it back on their site. That’s not just shady. That’s a predatory hustle.
This isn’t about policy. It’s a cultural shift in how they operate. Every move feels like it's designed to profit off the seller at every turn:
Payout delays so they can bank interest
Manual redemptions to make sellers jump through hoops
Vague policies to minimize accountability
Zero transparency about what changed and why
This is hard-hustle behavior disguised as a "luxury resale" platform. The same sellers who helped build their reputation are now being manipulated into giving the platform free cash flow.
Trust has been broken. Do better — or expect more of us to call you out.

Unauthorized sale and purchase

They made me buy a dress which is not my style or my size - there was a glitch in their system and the dress was supposedly purchased when I was asleep. I tried everything, I contacted customer support who were horribly rude and they didn’t acknowledge emails. I even contacted higher up, their headquarters with my proof of the history of my purchases, with no help. I asked the proof of sale and the email they presumably sent me and they never did. I tried to return the dress I didn’t buy and they used my funds without my permission. Don’t ever keep your cards or funds in the account. Apparently this happens and lack of customer service is beyond disgusting.

Poshmark does NOT protect their buyers!

I was totally scammed by a seller that said their sweater was in “like new” “excellent” condition, but the knit is as damaged and unwearable. I provided photos with comparison of a brand new version I ended up buying from the store. They refused to let me return it. I will never buy from Poshmark again and I spent thousands of dollars on that site. Shop on eBay, they protect their buyers from being scammed.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLATFORM

I would give 0 stars if possible. Personal accounts NOT Secure even with 2 step verification! Scamers are within the App and pose as Poshmark Tech Support.
Poshmark does NOT have phone number for support and only communication is email. Give a generic response when help is needed!

First time user here and won't be back

First time user here and won't be back. Item was received in a timely manner and was exactly as described however, the minute I created an account I was inundated with emails from Poshmark. So. Many. Emails.
Basically, once I received and verified the item I closed my accounting, deleted the app, blocked their emails, and deactivated the virtual CC I had used for the purchase.
Now that I'm reading reviews, I'm actually shocked that my purchase went as smoothly as it did.

I had email notice that an item was sold. Weird that it didn’t show which item sold on the app. The email was legit from them as I got suspicious. They wanted me to verify my bank. They no longer like my Capital One card. Asked for another credit card. Reluctantly I filled again the form. Then the AI asked for the balance on my card. It was 0 as I had just paid off. They declined and wanted balance over $500! That’s so weird! I took down my inventory as I can’t rely on this app anymore. Also can’t be bothered buying! So glad I don’t rely on Poshmark and I cross list!

Received wrong package, was charged

Received wrong package from Canada post, which had TWO different shipping labels affixed to it.contacted posh to start a claim. Posh encouraged me to tamper with the parcel to prove it was not the item I had ordered. It was a huge lazy Susan, I ordered a dress. I provided SO much proof, pics and all. They still released funds to seller, and charged me. I returned the lazy Susan. So no dress, and I was charged. It’s days now posh customer service is giving me the run around. I am making a claim with the OPC here in Quebec. Consulting legal, and refuting the charge with my credit card company. Shame on you POsH! I have spent thousands on your app. You are a fraudulent company and will not last much longer!

Misleading Experience, Zero Legit Sales, and a Deceptive Payment Flow

I am writing this review to warn others about a deeply misleading and frustrating experience involving what I believed to be the Poshmark platform.

I listed multiple brand-name clothing items, priced as low as $10, and despite reasonable pricing and legitimate listings, I did not receive a single real buyer or successful sale. In hindsight, this should have been a red flag.

While attempting to manage my account and what I believed to be a routine platform-related action, I clicked a link that appeared to lead to Poshmark. The page looked legitimate and followed a familiar checkout-style flow. At no point did I intentionally seek out or knowingly authorize the purchase of cryptocurrency.

Only afterward did I discover that a transaction had been processed through a third-party crypto payment processor. I was never clearly informed that cryptocurrency was involved and genuinely believed I was interacting with Poshmark or a Poshmark-related service the entire time.

To make matters worse, the payment processor later claimed to have “proof” in the form of screenshots of me during the transaction. These images do not demonstrate informed consent — they simply show that I was misled into a deceptive payment process under false pretenses.

This experience was alarming and unacceptable. Between the lack of legitimate buyer activity and the deceptive redirection into an unrelated financial transaction, this situation raises serious concerns about user safety and trust.

I am sharing this to warn others: be extremely cautious when clicking links or completing any transaction that appears to be associated with Poshmark. What happened to me could easily happen to anyone.
