After an extremely bureaucratic 20min call with a large bank (that was still going nowhere), i decided to hang up and go to a more boutique mortgage brokerage service. In 5min, Lauren (mortgage broker) knew exactly what type or mortgage suited me best, got me a few quotes in 24h and within 10 calendar days I had my mortgage approved on Christmas Eve, which was quite impressive considering that most businesses tend to be extremely slow during the weeks approaching Christmas. Most importantly, responsiveness was always immediate for absolutely anything pre and post offer. Post offer, Jemima was also very helpful managing the rest. Will definitely recommend to my friends.

I was under pressure when a finance deal fell through. It was picked up and sorted with finance within 7 days by portway finance.... it eventually took nearly 2 weeks for the deal to complete.... but they sorted so quick i ended up hassling the vendor solicitor to complete. Done quicky, efficiently no hassle.
