Nightmare mortgage brokers

The absolute worst! 3 weeks ago an easy issue of getting life insurance, resulted in a mortgage that has already cost me more than 11,300 euros and will cost unknown amounts for in 2028-2032. They have not yet provided me with a requested explanation of the financial activity
A female, disabled expat made a good target and thanks to their lies, intimidation, and no records of their promises they got away with it. The bank, CGD warned me to verify 2 things, and I did, but did not insist he respond in writing, and they do not monitor their agents calls. The agent, Paulo Barros, insisted Santander was the best mortgage and I did not need to worry about the thousands in fees, and the insurance was waived. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a mortgage broker and my advice is GET ANOTHER BROKER. They mislead, keep almost everything oral, pressure and assured me that the movement to Santander was the best deal, I didn't have to worry about the fees or the likelihood of increasing interest rates in 2 years. I wrote an email to them directly sending CGDs note, saying I thought that CDGs offer to remain was good, but he talked me into it - I feel like a fool and thank CGD for trying to talk sense.
Weeks ago I asked them to explain the movement of money, and I see the 11,700 I lost, but they have not explained the increase in the amount of the mortgage.
I will be following up with the government department or agency that controls mortgage brokers. Their website tells you to contact the owners, Neta and João Goncalves, if you have a problem. That amounted to nice charts, accusations and attacks. So, Portugal Mortgage has terrible agents, but the owners stand behind this approach.
