I cannot recommend Portraits & Poses enough! We had a studio newborn session with Davina, and she went completely above and beyond for our family. Right from the start, she was incredibly accommodating, adjusting her schedule at the last minute when we had to reschedule due to medical reasons.
When we arrived, the studio was perfectly warm and cosy, keeping our baby comfortable despite the cold weather outside. Our baby ended up being super fussy, but Davina was extremely patient, giving us plenty of time to soothe and feed. She pivoted the session to focus on family portraits instead of solo baby poses, and she kindly invited us back on another day to retry the solo pictures. It worked out perfectly, and we got some truly magical solo shots of our baby.
The final gallery is absolutely beautiful, filled with precious images of our baby and our new family. Davina's flexibility, patience, and dedication to getting the perfect shots made all the difference. We will treasure these photos forever!

We recently had a maternity photoshoot with Davina during my second pregnancy, and it was such a beautiful experience from start to finish. Davina made us feel so comfortable and captured this special chapter in the most natural and heartfelt way. We included my husband and our firstborn in the session, which made the photos even more meaningful — she managed to capture the love, excitement, and connection in our growing family so perfectly.

Davina was brilliant from start to finish. We had a family session with our baby, teenage son and parents. She made us feel really welcome and relaxed. The session was fun and we ended up with some amazing photos and memories. Definitely recommend.

I had my little girl 3 weeks early and wanted to have some newborn photos done, Davina was great she got me booked in for as soon as she could. She is amazing at what she does, making everyone feel comfortable and relaxed. My photos are so beautiful.

Davina is amazing at what she does and such a lovely lady. We found her through one of our family members using her and we weren’t disappointed. She was really easy to contact and very flexible when our little one showed up a week early. She is a baby whisperer with the babies as she managed to calm our little one down and get the most amazing photos of her. She has a lovely studio in her back garden and it’s all well equipped not only for the photos but to change the babies and for parents to sit and watch the magic happen. We are so glad we went with her and would recommend her to anyone looking for a newborn photoshoot.

I don't know where to start other than amazing. If I could give more stars I would. Davina was amazing with my baby who definitely woke up on the wrong side of the bed the day of his cake smash. I was so disheartened but when I received the photos I could not be more happy. Poor Davina having me scream nursery rhymes in her ear for an hour trying to make the little one smile I don't know how she was still smiling at the end of it. I cannot thank her enough for all of her hard work and she is amazing at what she does. I will be back and will be recommending her to all family and friends.

Davina was absolutely fantastic - the studio is so welcoming and warm that you will feel as if you are at your own home. I was a bit unsure whether to choose Portraits & Poses for a maternity photo session because there weren't many photos online for me to understand if Davina's style suited me. I contacted her to explain what I was looking for and she was so accommodating and super easy going in all our chats (via email).

I decided to purchase instead a maternity + newborn package and, OMG, my baby's photos are (as well as the maternity ones) just perfect. Davina was so patient with my crying newborn and both me and my partner were left surprised with how she managed to put our baby on so many different outfits (more than I can put on any given day!). All the photos we chose to print are also perfect with great quality and very well edited by Davina, and it's great to receive the other photos in a digital format which we can still print at some point in a smaller size if we wish to do so.

I will be looking to do another session when my baby turns 1 year old and Portraits & Poses will be my first choice. Thank you, Davina, for such a truly amazing experience, the first of many, I hope!

The entire experience from start to finsih was amazing. Davina is absolutely fantastic , she made my daughter feel so calm and also made us very comfortable. The pictures are absolutely amazing. I cannot get over how perfect they are. If you are looking for something special, no need to look any further.

Davina is a fantastic lady, she is easy to talk to during photo session and have patience for you to change into your clothes...

After searching online for a long time for a one year cake smash photography I was fortunate enough to come across Davina’s website considering how insanely expensive it can be and also the hassle to have to travel when you’re not near. With Davina she turned my house into her own studio it was amazing! Unlucky for us that it just wasn’t my daughters day and was not co-operating at all, but Davina made it work! I don’t know how but she did. I would 100% recommend Davina!
