There are a lot of organisations and platforms out there that offer to help find work or network - what I believe differentiates The Portfolio Collective is their authenticity and warmth. The Catapult Course was a very human experience, filled with insightful advice and practical templates to get you started on your journey to independence. A very responsive and knowledgeable team who took the time to share their own experiences and pass on their valuable lessons.

There are practical modules to work through and weekly calls with members of your cohort and portfolio career experts allowing you to share experiences and to help you build solid fountains.

Recently finished catapult course (Cohort 6). I’d previously done the course on the video series but the live cohort really brought a new dimension to the video content. Both the TPC crew and the other cohort members really brought the content to life and having conversations brought so many new perspectives, impossible to get through videos alone.

A very good group of people on the course. The portfolio collective is a super supportive group of professionals all running their own portfolio careers. I found the catapult course well put together with a lot of information for people establishing themselves as portfolio workers. Highly recommended.

I was lucky to be introduced to TPC by a friend recently and having joined their community and started connecting with lots of interesting portfolio professionals, I decided to sign up to the TPC Catapult course. This is a fantastic overview of all the key elements needed to get a portfolio career off the ground (or to enhance the one you might already have). Lots of practical tools and advice with a cohort of others to discuss your ideas with. The TPC team are a great bunch of people who are super helpful, friendly and a joy to talk to. There is so much knowledge amongst the team, but also you have access to a huge community of friendly portfolio professionals who are happy to share their experiences and ideas and advice. The mixture of live online discussions with your cohort and then offline work and learning is great. If you are thinking of heading down the portfolio career route, this is the ideal way to get a supported start for your ideas, marketing, online presence and more. Highly recommended!

I’ve just completed the Mentorship Programme (Cohort 8), and honestly, it was brilliant. I went in with no fixed expectations just curiosity, and it turned out to be one of the best investments I’ve made in myself.

The structure was sharp, the sessions properly engaging. The tutors weren’t just ticking boxes, they genuinely cared and challenged me in all the right ways. It helped me sharpen my thinking, get clearer on my direction, and connect with some outstanding individuals.

Massive thanks to the team behind it, you should be seriously proud of what you’ve built. If you’re on the fence about joining, get off it. You won’t regret attending the next intake.

I took part in the 8th cohort of TPCs mentorship programme. It came at the perfect time as I have been doubling down on mentorship this year and it was by far one of the best virtual courses I've done. It was incredibly thorough, all of the course content was delivered with some great pros as well as the TPC team, and the interactive elements (working in pods, taking on mentees from the community) all added layers to the learning experience that was incredibly valuable. I felt like the constructive feedback from the team was also helpful and always delivered tactfully. Highly recommend for anyone who is looking at taking mentorship more seriously.

I recently completed the Catapult course with The Portfolio Collective. The course is easy to access and packed with practical advice to help you get started on the portfolio or fractional career path.

I took the cohort version and would highly recommend it. It’s a great way to dive deeper into the content while connecting with others on a similar journey. The peer support and accountability takes it to another level. I really appreciated the time Ben and Fiona spent in the sessions they gave detailed guidance that was tailored to our individual situations.

If you’re considering or just starting out in a portfolio or fractional career, I can’t recommend the Catapult course enough. It’s supportive, motivating, and a great investment in your future!
