Absolutely shameful way of operating a business. I first used this years ago, you just paid for whatever type of video you want to send. Last year, I did a video for my step-son and paid £15.99 for a "Magic Pass" which allowed me to make as many videos as I wanted. Without any prior notification, another £15.99 was debited from my account. All links that they give you to follow take you on a merry-go-round without getting any answers or options. The page for subscription options is blank, the link takes you to Google Subscriptions but surprise, surprise, there's no subscription there... I couldn't work out how to cancel, couldn't get in touch with anyone (no phone or email provided anywhere). I spoke to my bank who told me they haven't set up a subscription but actually just use my virtual card to go in and take money!!! My bank said it was a very bad way of doing business! Only option was to cancel my card and get a new one. Total inconvenience but it's either that or allow them to continue stealing money. Can only imagine how much they've stolen!! I notice they don't respond to reviews here either. Scummy scam artists!!! AVOID!!!

AWFUL! Been using for years but whatever changes they made this year, I’ll never use again or recommend. You used to get one free video. And you could watch it as many times as you wanted. I had my son ready to watch what was I thought the free short personalized video of Santa. He’s all excited and 30 seconds in, it stops and tells me I need to pay for premium! What a crappy way to get me to pay and ruin a kids experience. There’ll be seeing none of my money. Awful!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's impossible to contact their customer services - there is no email, phone number and the contact form on their help page is non-existent.

I am furious. I chose the ‘Free Trial’ option but have been charged £15.99!! I have used this service before and as such the company has details of my bank account. How can this be charged when it is supposed to be ‘Free!’ Never again.
A total rip off
First time I've bought into this...and never again.
1. It takes ages to produce the simplest of videos. I attended the same school as Ridley Scott and I reckon it took me longer to produce a video on here than it took him to produce Alien
2. And video containing an interactive section can't be shared - surely that's the exciting bit for young children. instead it says download the video in HD
3. Forget 'download the video in HD' - it doesn't work. Oh yes the button is there just below the video but it doesn't do anything
4. Forget contacting 'support' - they don't know the meaning of the word
I've already cancelled my renewal and will be giving my old school pal Ridley a call to see if he can produce a video for me. Yes it might scare the pants off the grandkids but at least it'll work.

Such a shame to see what has happened to this company. I started using them many years ago - my oldest is 18 now and we used to use this company every year. For the first few years I would use the free videos and they were great quality, then about 7-8 years ago I started paying for their “magic pass” each year to get the more detailed videos. Everything was great. HOWEVER, I never signed up for a subscription and was surprised to see my account automatically charged last year - £19.99! As my kids were 17 and 15, they were a bit old! I contacted PNP and tried to get a refund and got nowhere; they insisted I’d signed up for a subscription (I definitely didn’t) and that I had to go in my account to cancel it - however no subscription was showing in my account so impossible to cancel that way. I then contacted my bank and Apple and got the charge refunded that way. I have a two year old now and tried to use the “free video” this year thinking he’s a bit young to get the paid videos …sadly had the same awful experience as others - poor quality video that cuts off half way through and asks you to pay! It looks like this website/app has unfortunately become a bit of a scam. It used to be so good! My big kids looked forward to “Skyping Santa” every year! I’m sad I won’t be able to give my youngest the same magical experience. A company with better ethical practice and customer service should seriously consider stepping into this gap in the market now!

Starts off good but 12 months later I’ve been charged again even though my subscription was cancelled after the first purchase, snoring there is 1 new video in each section so complete waste of money for people with more than 1 child.

Bought on Black Friday premium deal which included 10 free credits. Only 3 were added to my account. Emailed 'purchasehelp' email address and attached screenshot of deal page. Sent message via Facebook. NO REPLY as of yet.

Bad online service
I had gotten a pass for one year, later clicked on the Not to continue, but I found out the next year that they had charged me, not the 9'49 euros from last year, but 18'99 euros! I asked for a refund, and they do not give answers back. Furthermore, I have tried to contact them, and they either send an email saying to contact another email or they just don't answer.

Even when I have cancelled the service , and I haven’t put a credit card in the system or given them permission to automatically renew the service they charge me 20$ every year . Do not trust them . And much less share photos of hour little ones with them .they have charged me for 3 years and every year they answer the same . That didn’t have any notice of me wanting to cancel the service and they cannot give me my money back for that reason 2022-2023-2024

What an absolute scam this has become! Paid for a premium video on 24th December only to find that they wanted more money for the video I wanted - this information was not visible before payment. No stress I thought, had a problem with their video for the kids a few years ago and they refunded me within hours. How things change. Have emailed them repeatedly since the 24th and received hee-haw by way of reply. No reply, no refund, no more magic :(

Utter scumbags. Charged me £6.99 for a 'Premium' vid which I was unable to use - as once I had paid, all the content was marked 'Magic Pass Only'. They wanted another £15 from me for this. Tried requesting a refund but they won't respond. This was not how I wanted to spend my Christmas Eve. Horrible company preying on families at Xmas time. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

I've pretty much had the same experience as everyone else. I was charged this year. However, I can't see an invoice. It shows no billing. I thought maybe I'd try to use it, it wouldn't even work for me. Now, it's impossible to get customer service. I should have stayed with the free option.

Unexpected charge and no refund
I hadn't realized I signed up for a yearly subscription and got unexpectedly charged for it, and when I emailed them to ask for a refund they twice denied it. I don't think it's right for a company to force charge their customers when they do not use their products , and the pricing plans are not transparent to begin with.

Scam scam scam stay away from them , they post a free trial and halfway they cut and start pushing premiums. I have always known there’s something fishy about them. Not in a million years I’ll give my account details and subscribe. I purchased the yearly pass for 2024. I have had terrible luck using it. I go into the app and it just continues to ask to restore my purchase or tries to make me add another payment. I have an apple phone, I just went in to cancel my subscription. It’s barely functioning at all. I was able to make a few videos for my grandchildren and haven’t been able to use it again, let alone use the santa phone call versions.

Had an unauthorised £15.99 taken from my account and followed their refund process, after purchasing last year. No way to get in touch with them,very frustrating as no customer service. Once you've cancelled your account there is no way to see the refund process. Scam company and have had to block through my bank and raise a dispute.
