As someone who tried to make a living buying / seling @ auction for the past 3 years trust me when I advise you that you're entering a world of murky tat. I made > 1000 puchases and after costs had been considered made money on 10% of them, still have > 100 items that I cannot sell, many I have been unable to give away .. so have binned. They go through too many sticky fingers before you get the chance to bid for them.
Nearly had me too
Nearly had me too, but my son checked their email on Google and we realised it was a scam before I had parted with any cash, blinking disgusting crooks.
Leave the reviews to the customers
All of the reviews I have been reading about this site should be removed as to how can you pass a review if you haven't registered or subscribed to them. If nobody has been scamed why is it a scam your are just assuming its a scam because they ask for details and payment before they release the information they are selling you. Tell me what company would give you the goods before you purchase. This is a small fee to pay for a lifetime subscription and weekly updates on live auctions that deal with government and police auctions all across UK. The reason they are still operating is because the police and HMRC supplies the information to this company or somehow receive this info of up and coming dates and times of lucrative lots being auctioned. If your worried about parting with your cash maybe between your 63 reviews you can all put your coins in and subscribe then your loss will be minimal then come back and change your opinion.
Scam!!!
Scam!!!
Remember if someone ask for money up front question why!
How nobody does anything about it
How nobody does anything about it? Scam is clearly illegal but they are still operating. Thats crazy!!!!!!
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE PEOPLE
They almost had me too
They almost had me too! I just had second thoughts to check trust pilot before parting with £9.99....so glad I did!
so everyone here thinks its a scam but…
so everyone here thinks its a scam but not seen review from anyone who attempted to buy item from the site. it could well be a scam but curios as to how its been operating so long think the legitimate website for police auctions is (not allowed to promote other sites)
Absolutely A Scam
The £9.99 charge seemed odd so I googled for company reviews, so glad I did now I just have to deal with the spam emails this lot are likely to send my way now they have my email address.
Its a pity I hadn't seen these reviews…
Its a pity I hadn't seen these reviews earlier, unusually for me, I wasn't suspicious so didn't check until it was too late. Idiot!!! To be fair I contacted PayPay as soon as I came to my senses and they refunded the subscription fee I had paid, hats off to them. Dont be a mug like I was!!!!!!
Don't give your email address
I nearly fell for this. Got as far as registering but stopped short of making any payment. It may be a coincidence but within 24 hours of this I started to receive dozens of disgusting (spam) emails every day
Beware. Scam
Exactly the same. Convinced as a Googled about this site. When it tried to charge £10 for “a lifetime membership” I got cold feet and researched more.
Definitely a scam.
Does anyone know the real Police auction site details?
Hope this scam is taken down soon
RIP OFF
Like many others, I checked here first. Why have the police not taken this site down? Surely it gives them a bad name. Then again, they are too busy helping people cause traffic jams.
They had me convinced until ..
They had me convinced, right up until I see their claim of recently selling a MacBook Air for £27 😂
But good effort, did a good job of making the website look legit
Deffo a scam
Deffo a scam, so glad I checked on here first.
I did some research and according to Google the company behind the website is AdMatrix Ltd. Just click on the little i next to the ad on Google, then click "about this advertiser".
If you have been scamed you can find the owners details on Companies House or his email address is on the AdMatrix website.
I didnt fall for it!
THANK YOU ! They nearly got me for £9.99, but these poor reviews stopped me form being scammed. THANK YOU !
Almost got caught out
I almost got caught out. I was about to click on the £9.99 fee to pay and then decided I better check Trustpilot first as I usually do. I am so grateful that I did otherwise I would have lost £9.99, judging by the other reviews on here.
SCAM I almost clicked PAY NOW on pay…
SCAM I almost clicked PAY NOW on pay pal but was a bit suspicious so I checked the reviews thanks trust pilot phew
