How Polette Failed Twice and Refused to Fix It
In March, I ordered a new pair of glasses with new lenses. The initial eye examination was carried out incorrectly, resulting in the right lens having no proper focus. After this mistake, a second eye examination was performed and new lenses were ordered. However, these lenses were produced with the wrong prescription as well.

It is unacceptable that these errors are clearly on their side, yet they make no effort to compensate or properly resolve the issue for the customer.

Lousy quality lenses
Have over the last year purchased 3 pairs of spectacles from Polette but will buy no more.
They are advertised as being scratch resistant but each pair has ended up with damaged lenses in a reasonably short time. Polette does not stand by a EU standard guarantee and uses the get out that this is caused by normal wear and tear. O bought another pair of spectacles at the start of the year with a recognised lens manufacturer and these are still perfect. All spectacles used in the same manner
So it is a case of price and quality and whilst Polette may offer reasonably competitive prices the quality is obviously poor and the fact that they wriggle out of guarantee claims has made me a disgruntled and former customer.

I had such a great experience at Pollete Amsterdam! Inés is not only an expert but also incredibly wise and kind. I came in to change my glasses from two years ago and get a new pair. Even though my old ones couldn’t be fixed, she set me up with a provisional pair so I could use them while waiting for the new ones. How cool is that? Exceptional service, highly recommend!
