My real experience with Polarity Fitness and why others shouldn't let it slip by.
I am a 63 year old man looking at a future of needing to be independent and able to take care of myself. I was an only child and went the route of career instead of spouse and children. So being independent and capable of being on my own was a top priority. Others including my immediate family needed care givers or were in retirement/ convalescent homes. After watching Rio and his Polarity Fitness on YouTube I booked a call. After discussion, we decided I would be a good fit for the program. I have been with Polarity Fitness for a year now. Since starting the program I have lost weight, gained muscle and was taken off blood pressure and cholesterol meds. Rio was very knowledgeable, patient and up front honest with my progress and what I was doing right or wrong. I am getting ready to go into my 2nd year because it's been the best decision I have ever made. I have a very stressful job and work 50 + hours a week. I am a 70-year-old man who retired 6 years ago. I spent 24 years on Active Duty in the U.S. Army, and when I retired from the military, I spent another 17 years as a U.S. Army Civilian Employee. During my active-duty days, I was fit and healthy. By the time I retired, I had physical and health issues, which somewhat limited my activities. When I retired from Civilian Service, I was beat, battered, and unhealthy.
For the last six-plus years, I have looked at all kinds of "professional" fitness personalities, both online and on YouTube, for guidance on getting myself healthy and fit again. Their programs were either too difficult, and I was not able to stay with them, or they were just unhelpful and useless. Over the last 8 months, I have again perused many YouTubers who all had different programs, and each program was pretty much dismissive of the others. My problem was deciding who to go with.
A few months prior to February 2026, I began watching a young man named Rio from Polarity Fitness, who espoused what seemed to me an unimaginable methodology for men between 40 and 60 to get healthy and fit by working out only 2 days a week. The more I watched Rio's YouTube videos, as well as other YouTubers, the more interested in and drawn to what Rio had to say I became.
On February 11th, I had a video call with Rio. We talked about what I hoped to accomplish, as well as how his program, if followed, would make me successful in reaching my goals. My main goal was to become healthy again — since March 2025, I had continuously put on 2 pounds of fat every month, no matter what I did. My secondary goal was to become fit again. I thought long and hard about signing on with Rio for three reasons: 1) I have been horrible at being consistent with working out; 2) I absolutely do not measure foods or liquids — ever; and 3) there is a monetary cost for the 90-day program, and I did not want to throw my money away without having any results to speak of. But after a lot of thought and further interaction with Rio — who was and is a very kind, considerate, and, I dare say, compassionate young man — I made the commitment.
I am 3 days away from completing my 90 days with Rio, and I have been and continue to be utterly amazed at my results. When I started on the 11th, we decided on a weight loss goal of 20 pounds. As of today, I have lost 16 pounds. This is amazing because for the entire month of April, I was in ill health and injured. I was unable to do any workouts of any kind, though I was able to continue with the daily caloric regimen and consistently track my food intake.
Rio is a young man who is wise beyond his years in the realm of getting us old farts healthy and fit, and I am so glad that I was led to Rio and that I was smart enough to match up with him for the sake of my health and my fitness — my wife is impressed! Without Rio, his expertise, his professionalism, and his intense desire to see me succeed, I would never have made it this far. As I continue in his program, I am so excited about what the next months and years will hold for me — for my health, my fitness, and getting back that 20- or 30-year-old body of mine.

My experience with Rio at Polarity Fitness has been excellent from start to finish.
Communication was consistent, clear, and genuinely supportive, which made it easy to stay on track. The workouts were fully tailored to my specific goals and needs and everything felt intentional and efficient, allowing me to make progress without unnecessary complexity.
One of the biggest advantages was the balance between structure and simplicity. I was able to focus on straightforward guidelines while still working toward dialing in my physique.

Eliminate Uncertainty
One of the most frustrating parts of any fitness journey is the uncertainty—wondering what will work, what won’t, and whether you’re wasting time on the wrong approach. Rio eliminates that completely.
His program is extremely simple, and it works—period. It gave me a clear blueprint to follow, and the only variable is how closely I stick to it. That level of clarity and structure is incredibly reassuring.
My schedule is not easy—I frequently work nights and travel but the he was able to help me adapt and provide me with tools for the future. That flexibility made a significant difference.
Rio is also extremely knowledgeable, personable, and responsive. He takes the time to answer questions and address concerns in a way that is both concise and easy to understand.

I started the Polarity Fitness program 4 months ago; the program is run by a man named Rio. I can absolutely say that this program works. I am 69 years old and I have never been this jacked or felt so strong in my life. For 2 years I participated in several online programs. I saw some improvement for sure, but nothing like I’m seeing now. The real difference is doing 2 workouts per week and 2 sets per exercise with intensity.
At first I thought this sounded ridiculous. How could I cut the number of workouts and sets I was doing in half and still make gains? The key is doing each exercise to failure or near failure; in other words, I had to ramp up the intensity of my workouts. I also had to increase my recovery time, which Rio insists upon. I am certain that lack of intensity is the reason my other programs didn’t result in significant gains like I am seeing now.
Another significant factor to my gains is the coaching I get from Rio. He designed a plan for me and insists I stick with the plan, which I have. He has exceptional knowledge of musculature and knows exactly which exercises activate which muscle groups. Because of this knowledge, he is able to suggest alternative exercises if needed to work around injuries.
He has a knack for explaining what to do and how to do it. I send him videos of each exercise and he responds with feedback for suggestions for improvement, usually within 24 hours. He is quite picky on proper form and does not sugar coat his comments, which is exactly what I needed. This feedback has been crucial to my success. Additionally, we have a one on one Google Meet every 2 weeks, which has also been of great value.
I am extremely happy with the results I’m receiving from Rio’s program. Very highly recommended. 5 stars all the way!

I’m 64-years old, never trained in my life, and and was a physical mess inside and out.
- I had somewhat recurring atrial fibrillation; blood clot surgery descending into my heart and multiple blood clots in my legs; and a stroke in December 2023.
- At 5’7”, I weighed 226 pounds, 36% body fat; a 44” waist.
- Blood pressure at 139/80; resting heart rate over 90 BPM.
- Blood glucose was 328; urine with 500% higher sugar volume; A1C was 11.6.
- Kidney function at 50% capacity; impaired liver function.
- High cholesterol and other blood anomalies.
- Night vision reduced and difficulty with daytime vision.
- Waking up every 3 hours at night and difficulty getting back to sleep.
- Struggled climbing any stairs, out of breath at the top; and pain in my knees.
In short, a mess.

Thoughtful, Strength-focused coaching
I’ve worked with Rio for about a year and have been very happy with the experience. His coaching is thoughtful, strength-focused, and well suited for adults who want to train seriously without beating themselves up. Injury prevention matters to me, because I’m a dad in his 40s and I’m the primary parent to a young kid — I can’t get injured and my household be okay.
What I’ve appreciated most is his attention to technique and posture, and his willingness to adjust programming based on how my body is actually responding—not just pushing numbers for their own sake. Our check-ins are consistent and useful, and he’s responsive when questions or tweaks come up.
I’ve made steady strength progress, learned a lot about lifting mechanics.
This program prioritizes durability and long-term development. If you’re looking for a coach who emphasizes substance over hype and takes a long-term view of strength, I’d *strongly* (get it?) recommend Rio.

I started on my journey to get healthy when I turned 59 years old in December 2022. In 2023, I decided that I had to change my eating habits first. By mid 2023 I had lost about 20 pounds just by diet alone, I started taking steps every day. My first goal was 8000 then went to 10,000 then by the end of 2023. in 2024 I turned 61 years old and decided that I need to build some muscle now that I’m losing fat spent a year training on my own and listening to YouTube influencers. That was not successful. But one YouTuber stood out in my head, Rio from polarity Fitness. January 2025 I started a training routine with Rheo and clarity fitness. I was 190 pounds having lost almost 70 pounds now, but looking skinny fat, still having a body fat about 25%. As a busy medical professional, it was difficult for me to exercise. Real developed a three day plan for Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays I would spend about 30 minutes in the gym. Now at the end of 2025 I’m 175 pounds and have a body fat of about 19%. At 62 years old I feel better than I’ve had over the last 30 years and definitely better than I did in January 2024. I highly recommend polarity fitness and of course Rio if you decide to have a lifestyle change like I did. In February 2026 at 62 years old I feel fantastic. I’m playing tennis with my kids which I haven’t been able to do for 20 years and I’m very excited. I’m expecting my first grandson in February and I can’t wait to teach him how to sail. Thank you so much Rio for giving me the foundation to live a better life than I’ve ever had before.

Follow coach Rio’s instructions and you will achieve your goals. Of course you must stay consistent, put in the effort and time to make it all happen.

He is very honest, knowledgeable, and always there for you. He gives you multiple tracking tools to help you reach your goal so if you hit a problem or can not progress you just communicate that to him and you get the advice you need. He has been coaching me for six months now with his polarity fitness method and many of the issues I had from other personal trainers and doing things on my own he helpd me get past. I had body dysmorphia fears and trouble burning out on routines. He helped me get past the body dysmorphia by explaining how the bulking actually works and is tracked. His polarity fitness method also allows me to recover enough for my next workout so that I dont face the constant burnout in the gym. I have made more progress on this polarity method in the six months I have been following it then all the years past going in circles in the gym. It is not a one size fits all routine, he tailors it to your needs whatever age you are in your fitness journey or limitations you may have. I would highly recommend Polarity Fitness regardless of what age you are. It gives you the consistency you need in the gym.

GETTING FIT AFTER FORTY IS FINALLY A REALITY
In order to aptly describe my Polarity Fitness experience I will provide a bit of background about myself. A four plus decade seeker of general health, fitness and wellness, I have attempted countless endeavors in this quest, including having worked with numerous personal trainers, nutritionists, food companies and doctors. Additionally, I have put myself on many diets and exercise programs, read an untold number of books on the subjects and was a constant purveyor of fitness content on the Internet since its inception.
As a busy, productive, self-employed man in his 50s, I have thrown everything I have physically, emotionally and financially toward the goal of achieving a sustainable level of weight and strength. Out of the sea of possibilities, one night some months ago, I came across the Polarity Fitness YouTube channel.
It frankly sounded too good to be true and I marveled that someone as young as Rio appeared to be could have such a vast array of knowledge; he has proved wise well beyond his years and is equally intuitive about the process of getting fit. This man absolutely knows what he's talking about and just as impressively, he actually listens.
Initially skeptical, I nonetheless began to implement parts of its program into my workout regimen immediately. Its utter simplicity is such a profound breath of fresh information in this era of Internet influencers, steroid users and others who just keep recycling the same misinformation that all of us have heard ad nauseam forever.
The 18 months prior to this, I had been working out 5 to 6 times a week with two different personal trainers at two different gyms. While I had experienced some weight loss and strength gains as a result, I was continually struggling with what I came to learn from Rio was overuse injuries.
They were bad enough, in fact, that I was at the precipice of discontinuing weight training altogether. My chronic elbow tendinitis, coupled with ever worsening hip, knee and back pain had become career threatening.
As I incorporated more and more of the Polarity Fitness approach into my routines, I quickly discovered that I was not only getting stronger, but that my pains were dissipating. Most shocking…instead of punishing myself with insufferable and epic weight training sessions almost daily, I was finding myself eager and excited to get to the gym just two days a week.
In a matter of a few weeks, clients friends and family were commenting on the transformation that I was experiencing. As a result, I booked a complimentary 15 minute phone call with Rio. My rationale was simple; if I was able to shift my progress this much by just following some of the content, I wanted to see what working with him one on one might provide. I am beyond excited to report that his coaching far exceeds even my highest expectations.
The phone call was 10 weeks ago and I have been completely astonished by what's happening to my body. Stubborn middle-aged midriff fat has steadily been melting off to the tune of some 30 pounds already. To be completely transparent, I did this with virtually no cardio of any kind; while I aim to achieve a high step count, my schedule doesn't always allow for it. My results are solely from following Rio's workout and dietary recommendations.
This kind of weight loss at my age is unprecedented; even in my youth, I never enjoyed these kinds of results. While the content of Polarity Fitness's channel speaks primarily to middle-aged men, I encourage anybody who is looking for a real program that nets real results to look no further.
My lifts have grown exponentially, and I am doing movements that I could not even dream of having been able to do only four months ago.
Now, in addition to all the people in my life that had been asking me about what I am doing, I am being approached by other gym goers.
I could not be more excited nor motivated to continue my work with Polarity Fitness and Rio and am eager to share this with all who are seeking it.
I cannot urge strongly enough booking the free 15 minute call that completely changed my life. The thoroughness, attentiveness and troubleshooting that they provide is unparalleled. I did not know what I was missing until I experienced it.
In looking ahead, I am working exclusively with Rio and Polarity Fitness and discontinuing my in-gym trainers. The methodology towards nutrition and weight loss has been just as big of a revelation as the training approach was. Rio is legit. He is constantly refining his approach to make sure he is giving the best program to his people as possible. His approach is minimal but effective and barebones as possible. Great for whether your an athlete looking for a simple strength routine or an older exec looking to improve your physique with the minimal time you have. It works and he will also work with you to make sure whatever you need help with is addressed.
Rio at Polarity Fitness!!
At midnight tonight I will be 49 years old !! lol I still can’t believe it, but it’s true!! I can’t imagine going into my 50 ‘s looking like this picture you see here !! I was so disgusted & destroyed mentally because I allowed everything to presidents over me !! Until I pretty much gave up on me being a much better version of myself, I felt like if I took care of my family and kept my head low all would be well !! For me to even say this out loud proves I had given up and became an average man of society!!! I finally got to a place where I was just tired of being tired and decided to do something!! I went to the gym and got in the sauna and when I got out ‘ I took my weight and then a picture of myself & when I really looked at myself I became angry & disappointed in what I really saw!! So I started focusing on reading the latest science based stuff , the problem is that it’s a lot of it and it became too complicated to know who to follow!! One day I came across this young man on YouTube, His name is Rio and his program is called Polarity Fitness!! I was intrigued & inspired to give his way of thinking a go !! His simplicity was key for me !! Since following his strategies and being a part of his brotherhood I’ve gained knowledge and have been inspired to go much further in my journey!! The last picture is where I. Currently at !! I still have 25-30 lbs to go but with Polarity Fitness I know without a doubt I will accomplish my new standard in my health & life !! 7/23/25 is my wife & I wedding anniversary!!, so by this time I will be the best version of myself to date !!!
