Useless customer support‼️

My account got hacked recently and certain people were using my account for ps plus i changed my password and deactivated every console. Then i try to activate console sharing so my brother can use my games but i get an error message that another console has console sharing enabled on my account. I try to deactivate all consoles on my account setting again but it says i can only do it every six months(which is a stupid rule ). I contact customer support then the person and I'm waiting for 30 mins and i cant go to do other things while wait since it keep asking me to verify if I'm still there. Finally i get connected to a "William" then i explain my whole issue to him like i just explained now in this review, i have to wait 3 -5 minutes each time for him to flippin reply. Then just when he find a "solution" he tells me "I understand. I have had a look and this is something you will need to manage! You can deactivate all devices using this link "cant put the link "Once every six months. Otherwise you will need to manually deactivate each device. (Go to Settings > Users and Accounts > Other... Select Console Sharing and Offline Play > Disable.)" i was so flippin pissed when he wrote this but i didn't wanna be rude cause it just a support assistant. After, i tell him i already told him i cant deactivate the consoles. He said i need to go into the primary console and remove the account, even though i said the other consoles are unauthorized. I didn't get a sorry i wasn't able to help or anything he was just giving me the same response. Flip u William

Useless Customer Support

When i tried to recover my old playstation account they wouldn't help and just asked what the serial number of the console you created the account on is, which i obviously sold years ago. Now i can't connect to the playstation servers for 7 days already. I am constantly getting disconnected and they won't refund or give me back the days that i lost out on my ps plus subscription. Fk sony, i'll do anything to see this company go up in flames

They gave me a warning for no reason

I reported someone who was harassing me, but I was the one that got a warning. When I contacted customer service to inquire why. They said it was because I defended my self but could not provide when or where I did. They then proceeded to gas light me. If my account gets suspended for any reason after this ignorant redundant warning, I will make sure PlayStation and Sony does not get any business from the black community.

My account was hacked and purchases…

My account was hacked and purchases were made on the account on September 30th, 2025. On October 1st, 2025 I contacted the PS support team online to recover the account and to advise them of the hacking incident. My account was recovered the same day, but since I requested the funds back from bank, on October 10th PlayStation suspended my account. I used the online support option to request to request assistance, but was advised my service was suspended due to investigation for 5 business days. I called customer support, and was advised by a “Daniella”, that I had to wait five days due to pending investigation. So even though I’ve paid my yearly subscription fee I have to relinquish days of service due to poor and inadequate customer service.

My 3D pulse headset is useless

My 3D pulse headset, 1. gen. Is rendered completely useless.

Just because I lost the connecting usb stick. Apparently Sony made no attempt to fix an issue with the original 3D pulse, that only allowed it to function with 1 singular paired usb stick included with the headset, if lost, too bad.

And they’re literally unreachable now, there’s no online support whatsoever, not even on the FAQ section of the hardware support site, they only mention their newer headset the 3D pulse ELITE.

It’s like the original 3D pulse headset has just been swept under the rug.

I’m furious.

Useless company

It utterly boggles my mind that a tech company is so fundamentally useless at technology or technology support.

I am the family manager for my son's PS5. If he wants to buy a digital download game, I have to add funds to his wallet then he purchases the game through the console.

Issues:
1) Methods of payment work one minute and not the next.
2) Methods of payment appear one minute and not the next.
3) In an particularly nasty, scammy sort of approach, you can only add increments of £5 to the wallet which is always going to leave you with unused money in your wallet (well, if you can actually make the wallet work)

Son wanted a game costing £79 ish pounds. Go to add the funds to our wallet. Successfully add £50 - the largest increment available. Surprise, surprise - 5 seconds later when I repeat the process, paypal is no longer supported and I can't add anymore. So, now I am £50 worse off from my bank account but can't buy the game. Some research later, I find that Playstation supports PaySafe. Hell if I'm giving Sony my debit card details so this seems like a solution - I check that PaySafe is supported in the UK and check it's Trustpilot rating - it's legit, so I add the remaining balance to a PaySafe card and return to Sony to add the 16 digit PIN that will finally allow me to add the final funds to the wallet.
The PaySafe option has vanished £$%^&! And I can't get it back.
Oh, and trying to get in touch with Sony to complain or get a solution - you'll have more luck finding life on Mars than you will finding help from Sony.
I don't understand how this shonky, half baked enterprise are one of the biggest companies on the planet.

Extremely Frustrating and Unhelpful PSN Support - Password Reset Issues
To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and frustration with the PlayStation Network (PSN) Support's password recovery process.

I recently needed to reset my password, but was met with an unworkable system that seems designed to prevent access rather than facilitate it. To simply reset a password, I was asked to provide either the serial number of the PlayStation console I originally used to create the account, or an order number that is over 15 years old.

This is utterly unreasonable and impractical. Who keeps a record of a console's serial number for over a decade, especially if the console itself is no longer owned or functional? Similarly, expecting users to retain order numbers from 15 years ago is completely unrealistic.

The inability to restore account access, even for a basic function like a password reset, is unacceptable.

Pre Ordered in August a game to be out September received nothing so trying to speak to online chat you wait literally hours then they say not the right order number but it is and cut you off! 😡 this is for my disabled son who’s waiting for his game. No way contacting them so basically stealing from people. Hope they all rot! Disgusting how they get away with this service or lack of !!

I pay for games and bigger subscriptions for access to better games then they lock me out of these games that I have paid for then they hang up on me I’ve been owning PlayStations since ps1 loyal customer and this is how they treat me
I’m deleting all subscriptions I was looking forward to new games coming out but it won’t be on PlayStation.

Selling scam games and refusing refunds.

I spent £10 on what was supposed to be an auction simulator, it was a shell of the version id seen on YouTube. Never even done any bidding. Playstarion doesnt allow written reviews on their platform so I wouldnt know how much of a rip off it was until I'd actually downloaded and tried it briefly which voids playstations refunds.

Absolute joke of a company selling scam games then making it impossible to get a refund.

Didn't realise just how bad their refund policy was until now. Will be moving back over to xbox, at least getting a refund is easy when you get ripped off on their store.

Ps5 is a failure of development

This is the worst PlayStation I've ever owned. The UI is a misguided mess that I have been fighting to get to be acceptable for months and it is missing many features the ps4 has.

The controller is the worst controller I've ever used. It causes pain after prolonged use and there are actually reports of it giving you carpal tunnel syndrome. The worst part about it is that you cant even play ps5 games with a dualshock 4, as they have programed it to be unusable, even though it plays ps5 games perfectly well.

I bought an adapter (the qrd blackpill) that makes it so you can use the dualshock 4 with ps5 games and it works great, that is until Sony released a firmware update, rendering it useless. Combine that with the biggest lack of good games in PlayStation history and you get the worst PlayStation to date. I cant express my disappointment with the ps5 enough and it has killed Sony as a company for me, as I will never buy a PlayStation ever again.

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. Uses Chat support. Then apparently, I say apparently because it actually blocks its last transmission. If they cant help you or wont help you they just bounce you and block their last written message and your only option is to close the chat without seeing what they actually said. Horrible is the only way to describe this level of service.

They can catch the middle finger when the members that pay big $ can say anything about you or your family when u beat them h2h they don't suspend them but when you retaliate they suspend you is bs!
