Been using for years. Recently started paying for premium and have had no issues. The ability to port forward games like Minecraft and Factorio when my ISP uses CG-NAT is legendary. Sadly, people h... See more

It works really good, and is super easy to set up, and the best thing: it's free

Playit.gg is an amazing tool that gives everyone the ability to access their web apps and games from anywhere without having to port forward or be blocked by their isp. It is very easy to setup and very simple to understand. You can have access to your services in a matter of minutes and its free for everyone. There are some paid options that are definitely worth exploring to better your experience with the service. I recommend opting for a paid portion of something to help support this amazing project so that it can continue to grow and progress.
High Ping
The ping is quite high, but I payed for Playit premium and they did give me a refund after emailing support.

Pretty awesome
Pretty awesome, wish it had a run in background feature >:3
Best port forwarding solution
Amazing solution for minecraft servers (and other things who needs to open ports)
Overall decent
My experience with playit.gg has been pretty solid. The prices for premium and custom playit.gg domains are also very cheap and good. The main problems I have are high ping or connectivity issues with other clients (although they dont happen too often).
Useful for people with non-tech-savvy friends!
Playit is easy to set up since the very lightweight executable does every else for you. The web console is extremely linear and simple, which makes it easy to create connections for my co-op games. I've tried it out on Vanilla Minecraft and Stardew Valley. The best part is that my friends just need the provided tunnel IP and everything is set: no prep on their side is required!
My only issue is the fact that the "playit.toml" file is kind of buggy sometimes. Most of the time it interferes with loading, which prompts me to delete it. Hopefully there's some improvement to this in the future.
With that being said, it's a very solid program. Multiplayer with my friends has never been this easy IMO.
Not great coverage in Australia
Great service but lacking coverage in Australia. Would be nice if playit deploys a datacenter in Brisbane, Australia.
It is really handy
It is really handy, i can use it to host my own server without port forwarding, its really easy to use!
good service keep it up :)
Useful for a wide range of things!!
The service is very solid. But I did happen to come to have a bug that the play it program didn't start, but this issue was easily fixed by a quick restart on my raspi. Any way even if you can port forward on your router you should still use this service because you aren't exposing your ip address to the whole internet to a prying eye to attack your server. Even that I have used this for countless amount of servers a Bedrock, Java, gmod, rust, and a server for unblocked minecraft that me and my friends can play on our school Chromebooks.
Thanks so much Patrick!!
My att router dosent let me port forward so I thought I could never make a rust server. Patricks free service allowed me to do this. Thank you so much man I hope it stays free forever.

Definitely Recommended For All-Round Port
I used the client like 2 months now and It's still great!!! Currently using the client for port forwarding Minecraft bedrock/java. and don't worry about the ping cause it will automatically locate the nearest and yet fastest data center! you can also join the discord server to ask questions if you're having trouble! Definitely Recommended!!!
Simple, Easy, Effective!
10/10 so far, it simple, you click a few buttons and it work. I don't really understand all the IP stuff but the fact I don't have to port forward for Minecraft saved me a lot of time and worry, and not having to share my IP either. And all that for free? Wonderful

10/10 would highly recommend if your trying to host any kind of game servers during anything like streaming or are generally trying to hide what your main ip address is. this is compatible with GeyserMC. Great if you have a custom domain with anything like google domains too! you can route that though playit.gg using the A attribute or CNAME
the ping is very high
The Single Best Alternative to Conventional Hosting Websites and MUCH MORE
(from california) other server hosting services make you pay for the server, but with playit.gg you can have unlimited ram as the host of the server will be any computer you have at home. The only thing you have to pay for is the server computer of your dreams. No more monthly server fees!
11/10, great service with zero effort needed to set-up.
My current isp doesn't allow me to host servers easily (thanks to cg-nat) and some of my friends aren't ipv6 ready. This service allows me to essentially host a server properly again and we, for the first time in literally years, could finally all meet each other in game on one of our self hosted server. The lag is minimal over here in northern France (about 20ms) and it worked right away. A great experience !
Ever wanted to play with a friend? Try Playit.gg!
Amazing Website! People should try this if you ever wanted to play with a friend who has a legitimate copy of the game whilst you don't, this works for terraria and tmodloader! Better than hamachi and ngrok.
