Playcode is two products in one: an AI that builds your software, and the cloud that runs it. Playcode AI is your build team. Describe what you want in plain English, a SaaS, an internal dashboard, a client portal, a marketplace, and the AI scaffolds the whole thing: the interface, the backend logic, the database schema, auth, billing, and admin pages. Not a static prototype, a real working app the same day. You refine it in a live preview, edit any element visually, generate images and copy, work in 10+ languages, and build from your phone. Playcode Cloud is your infrastructure: your own Vercel, database, and deploy pipeline in one always-on machine, without wiring anything together. Hosting: always-on production, a custom domain, automatic HTTPS, and real ports. A real database: tables, queries, and transactions that persist forever and survive every restart. Your own git and deploy pipeline: every project gets its own private git repository, shared by your dev and production machines, with automatic snapshots and one-click rollback. The part almost nobody else has: snapshots that include your whole machine, code and database together. Made a schema change you regret? One click restores both. Playcode snapshots live production automatically before every publish and rolls back on a failed health check. You can even clone the entire environment, same code, same data, test a risky change on a fork, and throw it away without touching production. Your machines are fully persistent cloud computers. Every project gets a development machine and an always-on production machine. Your data, files, and uploads write continuously to durable storage and survive every restart, reboot, and crash. Production stays online 24/7; the dev machine auto-suspends to save compute and wakes in under a second. Building since 2016, with 26M+ projects created and 1.1M+ people building. From $25/month: one product, one bill, from idea to live customers in days, instead of stitching together five separate vendors.

Visited just now for first time, trying out a few ai website builders and this is THE first and only one that didnt even complete copying a super basic clients website to show me how well it could improve it from the url i copied into it
It ran out fo credits which is just so cheap of them and creates a reall poor first impression and user experience I wouldn’t even consider paying a dime to use them going forward
You guys at playcode want to spend 15 minutes at least seeing how you competition operates and stop being so damn tight and desperate to squeeze a few dollars out of your new potential clients.
If i could ahve tested out your system properly eg even just one super basic fracking website build i may have become a long term customer
‘Penny wise and Pound foolish’ is an English saying that comes to mind
EG saving yourself a few cents to miss out on making the dollars, being mean and tight never pays

I appreciate this concept because I believe feature development devices should be mobile or tab-based. I really want to release my laptop.

If you are searching for a plug-n-play, no brainer and just started web development, this platform is exactly for you. It is worth most of the cents, you are going to invest in the platform.
Yet, it feels a bit raw sometimes:
- Settings are a bit primitive, and I do support primitive settings. Since, to advanced settings get blotted and end up being useless. But you can add a button “advanced settings” and provide more flexibility. Specifically, I could not change the cursor color and in the dark mode your dark cursor distracts me a lot. Another advice with the settings, would be nice to have an AI connected to settings, not to search too long and do it all in auto mode.
- Multi window is not obvious. I would like to have a chance, to move the window, my website being created, so that, I could work with more comfort.
- AI copilot is not obvious to use. It has to be naturally integrated within the coding window.
- No hotkey to switch between windows of, let us say, html, css and javascript. Also, switching is hard and no access in settings, to, at least, easily zoom the interface buttons and other elements. Hard to switch between windows with so little tabs.
- Project sorting and management is very primitive. When the window opens, it has to immediately start from your previous session project, and then, if you need, easy access should be given to previous project.
- Hire a nice Dev-Ops expert to your team. Very frequently I have to reload my window millions of times, to get access to your server. Sometimes, for no reason, the website is blocked by firewall of my organization. This is for reason. Something is wrong with your security settings.
Sorry, if I made you sad. But these are all of the parameters that would increase the chance of using your platform, even after completely getting my hands hardened with the new framework. I will add even more ideas, as I get there.
Very easy and streamlined React prototyping environment that’s fully online with no local setup.
A truly incredible sandbox for developing prototype apps, being able to host your apps on an actual domain for playtesting or testing on different browsers is really useful, a wonderful tool. rbxlx.playcode.io
I think this is very good, but I would have liked to see a proper REPL console prompt where I could type code interactively, for live coding etc as we see in JS Playground and p5.js editor.
They have an irritating way of blocking free users - a "Can't write more than 8 lines of code in a single file" popup that just stays there for 10 seconds. When you see it for the first time, you have nothing to do but wait in absolute bewilderment, wondering what the frack just happened.

Very nice, clean and fast website to use! I would definitely recommend it for others to use!
Easy to use full-featured JS dev environment in your browser
Initially, I didn’t fully grasp the value of this deal, but after testing it out, I was instantly hooked! Let me start by saying it’s incredibly sleek! I ran a few intentional bugs, and the debug feature immediately gave me precise feedback. That feature alone is worth the price! I also launched a React project in seconds—literally with just a button click—and the live preview was instant, without the need for any extra commands. Plus, it supports a wide range of frontend frameworks like Vue.js and my favorite, Tailwind CSS. Extremely satisfied!

I assist in teaching a class at McGill University and Ruslan was extremely generous in helping out my students get access to his Javascript Basics program. I was honestly pleasantly surprised at the communication I got with the support chat, above and beyond. The Javascript Basics course itself is perfect for what we are trying to do and the students really like the development tools that are included in the Pro membership. Highly recommend

I almost threw my laptop off the stairs cause of the pop up telling me to switch to premium in the middle of trying to understand hard coding concept. Worst way to encourage to buy premium.

The platform itself is fine, but overly monetized. I created a simple React app template and was immediately warned the free version cannot use more than 8 lines of code. The React template they provide is already more than 8 lines of code. There are better alternatives that are not quite so greedy, especially if you are doing more than a couple lines of code.

I couldn´t edit the first exercise, as after the sum it did not stop to allow me to enter the "difference" steps

playcode.io spammed my email this morning, I never registered on that website before
edit: problem solved

The 8 lines of code is not a welcoming trial for people trying to checkout your platform. I'll stick to Replit for now. Good product for paying users though, I'll give it that.
I also never seen a useful snippet that is less than 8 lines of code. I don't know where he got that from.

they have a dumb "8 lines of of code limit" that turned me away as i don't have the money to pay for a premium plan
