While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

THE WORST TYPING WEBSITE IN THE WORLD

Not joking when I say this, but TypeRacer is literally one of the worst typing websites I have ever used! I can reach over 145 wpm on 10fastfingers, by on TypeRacer, I have trouble even reaching 100. Because they literally make you correct every mistake. EVERY SINGLE MISTAKE! It's so annoying.

Time efficiency

This website really helped me with writing down my ideas for a story that I'm working on right now! Also, whenever I feel like procrastinating, it's something I can easily resort to. And it's like it's not even procrastinating since it's a skill-based activity!
I am also thankful for the practice mode and how it doesn't affect my overall status (e.g. overall WPM).

The interface is buggy and sucks man

The interface is buggy and sucks man. I type a 100wpm and the whole website is buggy. Lots of ads make the whole website laggy man. Please fix this. Overall very bad website to learn typing and compete with others.

It simply is amazing and practical, very challenging and I love it.

This website is very practical as they throw you some real challenging words, and they don't allow a single mistake until you fix it. People tend to make a fuss about this, but I think it is so good and practical as in the real word, we almost always produce real sentences and paragraphs for our projects and assessments, which you benefit in when you have fast typing hands with accuracy. They also have punctuations which really puts a level of seriousness and dedication required for the user, which is very effective in growing your ability to type fast. 10/10, USERNAME: improve_ever ~120wpm (155wpm pb)
