Excellent service
Excellent service.
Ordered late Thursday night, arrived next working day (Monday). Website is good and they have some really helpful videos on YouTube which answered a lot of questions I had relating to best practices for joining the pipes etc as well as sizing.
Communication was good, acknowledging order before updating on dispatched status and providing DHL tracking promptly.
I can’t fault any part of the service and will certainly use this company again.

Very poor customer service
Delivery was good from the website. However, my landscaper asked me to order too much pipe/fittings so I've emailed to ask if I could return what was left over and that I would happily pay the courier cost....I have now emailed 4 times and now I'm trying to contact the managing director with no response.

We accept returns on pipe fittings from our customers but are unable to accept returns on pipe lengths. This is due to the large pipe lengths usually getting damaged / scratched in transit during the returns process. The condition in which the pipe lengths are returned to us are no longer in re-saleable condition.

Superb customer service!
Had everything I needed, decent pricing, and great service.
The only slight downside is the website's search function, it is a part number search, and not a title or description search, so if you are looking for something, you can't just type in 3/4" pipe elbow for example, so that could do with improvement.

No stars :-) just wasted time and… Update: Got refunded and told off!
No stars :-) just wasted time and money. 🤬🤬🤬🤬 On their website I went straight from looking at your 160mm pipe with a 9.5mm wall to the 'short length' tab and ended up purchasing the wrong pipe. The website is worse than not clear. It gives the full dimensions on the first page I looked at and I was happy that I found what I wanted and I went straight to the short length that I wanted, which did not have any detail other than it was 160mm outer diameter (and so I was confident that I had the right product) I purchased it and was delivered the wrong thing. I see now that they do not label your short lengths as either 10bar or 16bar, provide proper dimensions, or warn against potential confusion. This is an error on their part as can be misleading.
I was very disappointed when I phoned that their attitude was that I should be familiar with their part numbers, which was the only way that I could have spotted the error, and that they were 'sorry' and it was my error because you don't sell short lengths of 9,5mm wall pipe (WHICH IT DOESN'T SAY ON THE WEBSITE ANYWHERE!!!). It is not worth me returning the pipe at my own cost. I am very disappointed with weak way that I was blamed for the error.
So congratulations to Plastic Pipe Shop. You won the day, you can keep my money. I wonder if you are happy thinking that you just got ahead by getting one over someone who just wanted to buy some pipe and was mug enough to come to your website -and then phoned to sort out a genuine problem and just got talked over and blamed and made out as being stupid.
Update:
I got a refund for the full amount on the wasted order. I assume that they are sending me a return label to get the pipe back. There was no explanation for the refund, just the paperwork. I'm grateful for this but I see that they haven't updated their website yet so that no-one else falls into the same trap -perhaps that is coming.
Oops, more update. They are going to fix their website! From their reply it seems that I am wrong in this and I am abusive (I'm not). I don't get it. I rang looking for a remedy to a problem caused by their website, they refund me and say that they are going to fix the website and then they go on to attack me and put me further offside. Very adult!

I’d just like to start off with saying that we’re sorry about the issues that emerged after you placed an order with us. We always aim to deliver a great experience, and we are disheartened when we don’t meet expectations.
We understand that an ordering mistake took place, by purchasing the incorrect size of pipe. I can confirm that at that time, we processed a full refund for your order. We thankyou for bringing up the points about it not being clear on the website, and we have taken this onboard for improvement.
Since then, we have made a number of improvements and adjustments to our website to ensure that customers are more aware of what they are purchasing. These improvements include: having proper specification measurements sheets for a number of our products, these are very detailed and have recently proved very helpful to our customers. These are displayed in PDF form and as images on our individual product page. We also list important product technical details on this page too (pressure ratings etc), We also have clearer product range categories and sizing titles which feature the length of the pipe and the diameter sizing too. This means that everything is much more categorised in a more logical way.
Since these changes have been made, we have found that customers are making more positive comments about the website being easy to navigate. We have to thankyou for bringing this to our attention, so that we could make these improvements and we will continue try to find ways to update our website for the benefit of customer use.
I’d also like to add that we are sorry that our customer service was not up to scratch. We are normally known for our exceptional attention to customer care, and we regret that we missed the mark here. We will use your feedback to help us improve these skills and to ensure this doesn’t happen again.
As a small business, we are always trying to learn what to do best with our customers and most importantly to listen and take their feedback on board.
