Disappointing plant, atrocious customer service
I placed my order on 8 June and, after hearing nothing for a week, had to contact the company to find out what had happened. I was then told there would be a further delay and that a gift would be included as a gesture of goodwill for my patience.
At that point I chose to wait. Had I cancelled after already waiting more than a week, I would simply have had to start the process again elsewhere and face an even longer delay.
The plant eventually arrived 12 days after I placed the order. The promised "gift" turned out to be a low-value promotional tote bag that appears to be routinely included with orders. My mother recently ordered the same plant, received it within a couple of days, and was sent the same tote bag. It therefore did not appear to be a genuine gesture of goodwill in recognition of the delay and inconvenience I had experienced.
To add insult to injury, the plant itself was extremely disappointing. It was smaller and far less attractive and healthy than the specimen shown in the website photographs and, having waited nearly two weeks for it, I genuinely felt I had wasted my money.
What disappointed me most was not the delay itself, but the way the company handled the situation. My emails were ignored, my complaint was not properly addressed, and the response I eventually received was dismissive and failed to engage with any of the issues I had raised.
Mistakes happen. Delays happen. What matters is how a company responds when things go wrong and the care it shows its customers. Unfortunately, my experience from start to finish was extremely poor, and I would not order from this company again or recommend them to others.

My on-line shopping experience was very good. It was easy to find what I wanted. The plant I received was well packaged and seems very healthy - though I have only been looking after it for a couple of days, so hope it stays that way.
My only note would be the time it took to arrive, and with not much communication during that time. But perhaps I am just used to some other on-line shops who want to tell you every stage of what is happening.
Overall, my first experience of Plant Pet Club has been very good.

The plants are lovely. Packaged nicely. Came with a lovely cloth bag. Customer service is non existent though.

Arrived wrapped in a piece of brown paper in a box. Plant out of its nursery pot, roots exposed and soil/ compost, dry as a bone, just spilled out onto the floor. Plant was lovely though, and I've managed to save it. It had obviously not been watered before delivery. Shan't be using this company again as they don't know how to treat plants.
