I used a free trial test and did not know I would be charged monthly
I signed for a free trial test and I did not realize I was then going to be charged monthly without any real authorization. I only discovered these charged when doing my taxes. I was CHARGED monthly charges up to $80. Even after I figured out how to cancel PlantIn I was still charged for one more month this March.! This company is a true scam how can it be stopped?
$60 a month!?!?
It's a good app. I was totally willing to pay the $10/mo. but it charged me $10 PLUS another $50 per month and I have no idea where the extra 50 bucks came from!! I never would have agreed to $600 a year for a few house plants. I could buy 3 new plants every month for that price!!
Fraud app.
I signed up for a free trial and did not recognize the huge red flag that they asked for my bank account info. Three days later my account was charged $49.99. I wrote them on their website and also sent an email demanding a immediate refund. Their phone number, 814-351-9369, does not work.

Why does this company steal precious time? Offers Free Trial.... then asks for your credit card details!!! Waste of time
Platin = Fraud
I cancelled PLANTUM (Not Plantin) in June of this year. Somehow they are related. BUT I do not have the Platin app and never did. 12/25 they charged me $10.99. Then on 12/28 they charged me $27.99. I don't have this app. They even have the gall to put a message on PayPal about contacting them direct if you have a problem because they resolve quicker than PayPal. They do this so they don't lose their PayPal account. It's blatant fraud and people are complaining all over the internet.
Very nice
Very nice, clean atmosphere, friendly crew. Very happy with my facials, lash extensions, skincare. I do recommend the place
Tropic Beauty Peach
This Tropic Beauty peach tree was just transplanted from 30 gallon container into a rectangle shaped wooden planter box 4’ long 2’ wide an 22” deep. I have been watering it a lot because of the transition. I had also sprinkled some dynamite fertilizer on top and trimmed it prior to moving it. The leaves are cracked at the tips and seem wilted regardless and they will fall off if I shake the tree a little. I believe its new containers soil had zero for proper drainage as it had no bark to help aeration which I am currently seeking an will amend the soil around the root ball when found. . This to try and allow the soil to drain better. Am I on the right tract?
I have cancelled this prior to 3 day, but still got billed
I have cancelled this prior to 3 day trial being over. Actually, the next day. Plantin has been billing me for months. I contacted support.plantin.com and they said my account was deleted and all data gone. They stated that they cannot help nor stop the monthly billing.. SCAM! I had to fraudulently report my card through Apple.
Horrible!!!
Horrible, horrible, horrible. If I could give it 0 stars I would. I paid for the lifetime subscription to help me with my several plants, many which were showing signs of poor health. I took picture of clearly sick plants and the app said "looks great!" And saying nothing was wrong with the plant and that they were in good health.
Right away I tried to contact the "company" to cancel and get a refund because the app does NOT work as advertised (AT ALL), and they said there was nothing they can do, but to contact Google for the refund. I did that and Google said they wouldn't refund me. I deputed the charge with my credit card company and it came back with no explanation as to why. I'm assuming Google found some way to keep my money, as if Google doesn't have enough money!!!!
This app is pure crap, Google just wants to take your money for garbage apps. Do not waste your money! I tried to leave a review for the app and it doesn't let you; instead, it has fake excellent reviews. I will continue to bash this app for what it's worth until I get my money back!!!! I don't want your garbage app that does not work!!!!
Oh and it acts like you can ask a professional questions about your plants and other things as part of the "premium" membership, but nope..... You have to pay extra for that too!!!
Rip Off
I’m extremely disappointed with this company’s misleading pricing and refund practices. When I signed up, the app clearly stated a price of $49.99 per year, which seemed reasonable. However, I later discovered I was being charged $49.99 per month instead — a huge difference.
When I contacted support, they claimed I had signed up through their website (which I did not) and pointed to their refund policy. Even though I canceled months ago, they’re still charging me and refuse to issue a refund — admitting the pricing is confusing but taking no responsibility.
$600 a year for an app that was advertised as $49.99 annually is unacceptable. I feel misled and taken advantage of.
Money taken after free trial cancelled
I cancelled my free trial and they still took money (£34.95) from my account. Had some weird correspondence to say i cancelled on the app but not on the website. Total scam

While the app itself is okay the billing is misleading! And they do not offer refunds so they just keep billing you. I cancelled my account and still got billed. I’ve deleted my account so I’m hoping I hope keep getting billed. Use caution !!!!! Not trustworthy

Terrible terrible terrible
Terrible terrible terrible. This is just a rip off. I have a tried a ridiculous week periods (the app does not do what is shows on the ads) and then I was charged 50€ after a week. That’s ridiculous please do not download and use this app
I really enjoy this app
I really enjoy this app! I have been using it for years. Thanks a lot for the information you provide!
Love the app
Love the app. It has been well worth the money spent. It does have some issues identifying plants and illnesses correctly. But I’m overall happy with it.
Avoid - Scam
Avoid Plantin. It’s scam. Despite cancelling my subscription and receiving confirmation from PlantIn that my account had been closed and refunded, I was charged again without consent. I've contacted them multiple times, only to receive vague assurances with no resolution.
This pattern of unauthorised billing raises serious concerns about the app’s integrity and customer care. I am now reporting this to consumer protection authorities and strongly advise others to steer clear of this app until these issues are addressed transparently and permanently.
I know my plant is basil
I know my plant is basil. I wanted to be told what is wrong with it or exactly what the black specs are on it. I was just told me plant is basil and it looks sick. Eh? 👎🏻 At least tell me what is on it
