PLANET EXPRESS IS SCAMMERS DON'T SHIP WITH THEM
To Whom It May Concern,
I am submitting a formal complaint against **PlanetExpress**, a package receiving and storage
company, for theft and fraudulent practices.

Upon requesting the shipment of my package, I received an email from PlanetExpress stating that
the package was "sealed but light" and had a "rattling noise" inside. They proceeded to **cancel the
mail-out request** and took photographs of the package, which clearly show that the **phone was
missing**.
I have verified with the seller that the phone was indeed included and shipped correctly.
Furthermore, I have found **numerous complaints on SiteJabber** where multiple customers accuse
PlanetExpress of similar fraudulent activities. This pattern of theft is evident and seems to be a
systematic practice.

Amazing experience so far (hazardous goods US to AUS)
After what I can only describe as an absolute saga with Global Shopaholics (trying to send nail polish from the US to Australia), I really didn't know what to expect from this company, but was optimistic, since their customer service was immediately way more responsive than that of both Global Shopaholics and my previous go-to freight forwarder (Shipito).
In the process of trying to get the goods shipped with Global Shopaholics, I would have sent probably 30+ emails, there were constant delays, their customer service is truly awful and will not respond for days, their website is shonky and ambiguous, etc. So far, I've had the opposite experience with Planet Express. The package received by them was entered into my account very promptly. The entire mailout process was complete virtually immediately, and the package is already with FedEx on its way to me.
A package that arrived at the Oregon warehouse of Planet Express on Tuesday has now (it's Friday as I'm writing this) legitimately done more than it did at Global Shopaholics in a month - and those three days even include time when I'd done the customs form but was waiting to get paid so that I could pay for the shipping, suggesting that this is their level of timeliness even when there's a delay of a day or two on a customer's end! After one of the worst consumer experiences I've ever had, this has genuinely been such a relief. No, nail polish isn't some lifesaving item or something, but it's kind of alarming when you send something in quantity to a competitor in the freight forwarding market who advertises itself as a specialty hazardous goods shipper and then refuses to ship the items, creating an extremely time-consuming, convoluted, month-long international dispute. I'm gobsmacked that Planet Express was able to turn the problem around in a matter of days, using FedEx, better customer service, efficient employees, and a website that is actually functional.
I'm definitely optimistic about the company after this experience. After Shipito prices skyrocketed over the years and this exploration of Global Shopaholics as an option ended in unmitigated disaster, I'd probably use only Planet Express for US to Australia freight forwarding in future. I don't require the service that often and the last time I wanted to ship hazardous goods (nail polish) was maybe 8 years ago but, due to the international nature of these transactions, the expense of the transactions, and the complexity surrounding the logistics of it, having a company that's competent to handle it is so, so important. I pretty much have only good things to say so far. The FedEx tracking a day after I paid for the shipping feels like a mirage after what I went through with Global Shopaholics!
