Many designs to choose from...

I loved how I can choose from any design provided and add my own ideas to it. It is so user friendly and easy to understand. I stopped using Kittl and Placeit is my new place to play. Thank You

Don't use Placeit

Downloaded an eBook Mockup twice. Although in the preview it shows the book spine text, in the download it says 'upload your image'. The image is unusable. 16 dollars down the drain. No contact adress for reimbursement. And when I read the other reviews, I will never ever take a subscription.

I’m new to Placeit and on a whim just…

I’m new to Placeit and on a whim just thought I’d send a help request in. What I excepted was it may or may not be answered and as usual IT they’d tell me one solution that doesn’t match what I needed.

WOW! Was I pleasantly surprised when Katie not only answered my issue, then sent a direct link to a FREE site as a back up but was so pleasant! She greeted me in the beginning of her response, was so helpful then wished me a nice day and if I had anything else to let her know!

That’s amazing customer service and sad to say not all experiences are like this.

In closing, I’m loving Placeit!!! Thank you!

I have been trying to cancel my…

I have been trying to cancel my "subscription" to Plascesit for MONTHS, and it simply will not let me. I've followed the steps necessary to do so and when I get to the account section they tell me to click to activate to cancel, it doesn't even open when I click on it, it's not a hyperlink. In my settings, I have deactivated all the notification options so they wouldn't send me their emails and other useless information I don't care about. However, my account is still open and I'm receiving notifications I DO NOT CARE ABOUT.

This is either a corrupt and unethical company or grossly incompetent. Neither are a good look for their "brand".

Scammers

Scammers! They keep deducting money from your card even though you cancelled. First they talk you into paying for a month anyway. Afterwards my subscription was canceled. Month after that they keep deducting money again? Had to cancel my subscription 2X and they call me a liar for that?? Again this subscription was 100% SURE cancelled. You can not cancel twice! It said below Resume subscription, off course never again! they are refusing my refund ONCE again. I do not use their program and never want anything to do with it myself again! I certainly will not let this rest. If you as a company want to get rich like this, I find it really pathetic and this also says everything about the program itself....

THEY CONTINUE CHARGING EVEN IF YOU CANCEL

I canceled my annual subscription two years ago with the ID number 2407726437, but they still charge my credit cards. I had to cancel my credit cards to resolve the problem.

The last message I received from Placeit confirmed I would receive a refund. However, it's been two months, and the responses since then have only offered unclear reasons for delaying the refund.

Here is the last reply I received two months ago before they stopped answering my emails:

Hi Fernando,

In that case , we can confirmed that the subscription was canceled, about the refund you can wait until the dispute is finished.

For years this was a reliable service

For years this was a reliable service. But recently I can't login anymore, despite I paid for a year subscription.

Despite I gave them a perfect analysis about the real problem, they refuse to even try to solve it. The problem is that I pay for two of their services. Place It and Envato Elements. They however use an imperfect implementation of an SSO. Since on both sites passwords are out of sync, I can only access the site I most recently have paid for.

So, having an account for 2 services does not mean you have both, but you only have half the service.

No response to any ticket despite their 'willingness' to tell me how to respond to them.

When I found out what the problem was, tried to contact them daily, but no response. They don't care.

If you like their products, decide the one you like the most, and refrain from buying any other product. Envato will frustrate you by only allowing you to use their 'last paid service'.

Duh. I got a single message from them and although I had 'her personal email address' according to her, I never got response. They have a tech problem with synchronization between accounts, I found the problem *for them*. But still they ignore it.

Never sign up to their newsletter, they’ll harass you forever

I signed up, since they are featured on Printify.
Their mockups are terrible and don’t actually reflect the products on Printify, so I closed my Placeit account and unsubscribed from their (too many) newsletters.
Newsletters that kept coming, despite I escalated to Envato and got reassured that I would never be bothered again.
Nope, every couple of months they start sending newsletters again.
Apparently they don’t have enough happy customers, if they have to harass those who are not interested!
Beware of a company like this one, their behavior doesn’t strike as professional.

Paid for placeit unlimited and got…

Paid for placeit unlimited and got charged £14.99 but I haven't been given any of the benefits, i cant download any mockups as it doesn't think i have a subscription. I emailed customer support and all they did was show me how to log on.

Unable to reach the perfect color and more often than not. I don’t even end up using them if I do I have to doctor them up tremendously

I tried one template and they billed me $119

I don't even know how to use their site and they did not even ask if they could bill me...

Very dishonest especially when someone doesn't even have money and is currently unemployed and trying to test out what tools might be useful to start a business. NOT HAPPY...
