My pizzas are the best thing you can do in a regular oven now, but pizza steel works amazing for other baked goods, such as pita breads, flatbreads or focaccias. Wonderful!

Instant improvement in the rise of the dough, and the leopard pattern on the bottom of the Pizza is amazing.
Comparable to a very good Pizzeria, but out of a regular electrical oven. I baked Naan bread as well, came out really well with the steel.

I love PizzaSteel! I’d rate the improvement on the crust in comparison with the granite stone as 30% which is a lot.
I was a bit worried about the moisture under the crust since it’s unpemetrable steel and all but it turned out to be of no issue at all. The porous structure of the surface seems to be handling the problem pretty well.
So, all in all, it have to say I’m completely satisfied.

Massive jump up in quality of pizza compared with the pizza stone I previously used. Well worth the investment
Outstanding
This is excellent for pizzas and bread. I seasoned it with peanut oil. It now has a nice dark grey colour.
I use it in an ordinary home oven with a maximum temperature of 300C. I sit it on two fire bricks to get it closer to the grill. Takes a maximum of 4 minutes to cook a Neapolitan style pizza. I do a 180º turn mid way.
The results are fantastic.

Great product. The home pizzas I make are baked perfectly, evenly, every time. Timing is important. I recommend pre-heating the steel before using it. I am baking the pizzas in a electric oven pre-heated to 270 deg.C.
Italian-approved
I bought my pizza steel back when I used to live in Sweden and now that I'm back in Italy I was very happy to buy it again(unfortunately I couldn't carry it back to my home country). I recommend it to my friends every time they ask me for advice on how to make a super tasty pizza and I'm glad to help to make it popular here, since refractory stone is more common in Italy. I think that pizza steel is way better than it, more hygienic, mold proof and it grants very high performances.
