PRG Superior console

Tbf I have just bought a superior console from PRG, I did have a while to wait but I'm a patient person and understand that things dont always run to plan, I truly believe that this company is trying there best and I personally dont think they're as bad as a lot of the reviews would state..I ordered, I waited and I recieved, later than quoted but what I ordered, I did receive

Do not order from them!!

Do not order from them. I have reported this to my banks fraud department. I have requested a refund twice now and to-date both emails have been ignored.

Fraud

A fraudulent company. The last barrage of emails from them were grossly unprofessional. Here is the first one I got in a recent email conversation:

You will literally be the last person to receive a console.

I have emailed others the same.

I have tried, tried and tried....

Yet you and others decided to make it hard, yet i have poeple who genuinly believed and supported us. THEY will get it before you because they deserve it.

AVOID....AVOID......AVOID......I ordered extreme console on 7/11/2019 ref #129851.....item arrived as promised a few days later as promised.....it didn’t work properly and so returned it......it was received signed for at 11:04am on the 20/11/2019...it is now 12/12/2019.....since then it has been a total nightmare......excuse after excuse about my refund.......(which they say takes 3 business days to refund)..it’s being processed.....bank account been shut down.....I’ll get a friend to pay.....my car needs an MOT are some of the excuses....everyday I get fobbed off or no contact at all.......this company is the worst I have ever dealt with....totally shambolic.....I can’t believe the way I’ve been treat......I am now contacting the police.....my bank.....trading standards.....and I’m even going to see a solicitor......do not trust or deal with these people .......otherwise you may be out of pocket......I didn’t want to have to do this.....I’ve been fair...understanding & patient......but I’ve run out of it all now.....save your money.....AVOID.....AVOID.......AVOID

It will always be a 5 star review from me, I’m a big fan of PRG, have a handheld console which I greatly enjoy using. I wanted to check though, if any of PRG guys are reading, is everything ok? I’ve not been able to log onto the PRG app for a couple of days, and I’ve not been able to contact anyone there through email or social media, Twitter account also seems to be down? 🙁

Seems like a scam

Seems like a scam. I ordered on 27/11/19 with a 4 to 5 day delivery time. Order number 130158. Now being told I will receive on 13/12/19 but not holding my breath. Anyone have advice on how to get my money back?

BIGGEST SCAMMER EVER!!!!!!!!

Ordered our superior console on 19/11/2018 ( order number #94904) and STILL no delivery. Promise after promise, excuse after excuse. Demanded a refund 4 weeks ago, even got lies over that. STILL NO REFUND, Jordan aka Dave then promised delivery or console and even said he had posted it. However we have been ignored from the moment we asked for a tracking number.

THIS COMPANY IS A ONE MAN BAND, MAKING THOUSANDS OUT OF SCAMMING CUSTOMERS. AVOID!!!!!

Only excuses

Very bad service, after 9 months waiting for my delivery they only provide me with excuses after excuses (lies actually) I cancelled my order and asked for a refund and now its been nearly 2 months chasing them... and guess what... No refund has been done yet.. at first it was "2 weeks tops" then "a problem with the card" then they told me I had to wait for 4 people to cash in in order to be refunded.... I don't know how can this people sleep in the night knowing all the lies they have to tell every day to everyone.
Ps I've never been treated so bad as a customer in my entire life. If you want to avoid pain in the neck DON'T BUY FROM Piretrogaming.

Not to be trusted

Ordered an extreme game console on 16/11/19, website stated 4-5 days delivery. Money transferred and order acknowledged ref 130008. Chased on 29/11/19 as had not received it. Was advised they had an issue with the controllers and were a wek behing would be despatched on 28th/29th November via next day delivery. Chased again on 29th November as I had still not received the item. Was advised by Dave they hadn't despatched as were waiting keyboards but had now received them and it would be despatched on Monday 2nd Decmeber 2019. Low and behold the console hasn't been delivered again. I have advised I wish to have a full refund but surprise surprise no reply to my message. Chasing or asking for a full refund. Stay away from this company.

STAY CLEAR! Now five months on no console or refund

As of July 2021 I have heard absolutely nothing still not a single penny returned. Lesson learned NEVER buy anything from facebook adverts as it's just a haven for crooks!!!

Update I have been banned from their Facebook page which is now the only means of contact for them. I am now unable to contact PRG as their email address no longer works and their physical address is fake.

I have to stress I bought one of their Superior retro console on the 20th of August 2019, Order #128370, for £215. After contacting them numerous times I still have not received a refund. Customer service is non existent as they have never contacted me to inform me of what is happening I'm constantly having to chase them for information.

At this point I feel like I am intentionally being run in circles by them if anyone is considering buying from them think twice and choose a company that accepts a legitimate form of payment that can act as a mediator incase things go wrong. This company only accepts bank transfer and you have zero comeback if you run into problems, stay clear!!

No PRG you did not contact me two days ago, the last contact I had from you was on the 25th of November.

There is no message on my side and any emails I try to send just end up being timed out.

It is now the 6th of December and to date I still haven't received a refund, I'm sick and tired of all the excuses, I am clearly not going to get my money back through this company.

December 14th despite my recent attempts to contact them and get an update as when I will receive my £215 I have not received any reply to emails or Facebook DM's It has now reached the point where this has started to adversly affect my health I just want my money returned.

Liars now claiming to have no money so what have you done with all the money from the orders you have not fulfilled.

Just genuinely upset

Order Number 114142 Ordered a superior in January. Nothing recieved. I keep on messaging but getting the same excuses week after week. I even downgraded console to extreme to help them out and let them keep the difference in money as I was assured this was in stock and I would have it in a week. Guess what? Still nothing and that was around July time. I promised my four year old son this and he’s very upset, and I feel I have been robbed of £225, this could have gone to my sons birthday but instead he had nothing to open as all their promises never came true. Absolute disgrace. If I receive nothing in 2 weeks I will be taking this further and taking legal action. I have all the messages saved where it says I’m next in line or sorry the controllers haven’t turned up etc... lie after lie!!

Ordered my Extreme console a few months…

Ordered my Extreme console a few months back, arrived 10 days later and the machine is awesome! You need to be able to accept that you need to tinker to get settings working the way you want them too and you can make mistakes in trying to do so but it’s part of the fun for me. The gaming experience once you sort your preferences is bloody brilliant -i am able to relive pretty much every computer game based experience i’ve ever had and it brings back some great memories.

I had great support (via email) when i essentially reset the controller settings Inadvertently and whilst I sympathise with those who may not have got their machine on time/yet i can only state that my experience with PRG has been very positive 👍🏼. This is 100% a legitimate company and the product is real!!

Not Recommended

I placed an Order (129409) for a Superior Console on 25/09/19 after seeing a sponsored ad on Facebook. After 2 weeks I had not received the console so I emailed for an update and quickly received a response to say delivery would now be within 4-8 weeks. After 8 weeks and no console I emailed again and sent Facebook messages and have not received any form of acknowledgement or response. I went on the PRG Facebook page and could see that PRG are still active, posting and interacting with people on their page so if they are genuine then it’s very odd that they are advertising consoles for sale but not responding to customer queries. They also appear to be deleting user comments on their posts. Eg.Look on Facebook at PRG’s console posts, it says there’s 9 comments but when you click to read them they’ve been deleted. No doubt this is other people that they have scammed.

After reading other comments on TrustPilot it’s clear that PRG are ripping people off and i’ll be reporting them to Trading Standards and the Police and would advise others who have been affected to do the same.

Edit: I was informed there would be an 8 week delay only when I asked for an update. And since then (09/10/19) I still have not received any reply’s to my emails or messages.

We aren't ripping people off otherwisr people wouldnt be receiving their consoles daily.

The Superior has an issue with a backlog hence why it is no longer sold, i apologise for your wait.

Tread with caution

I have read the many negative reviews here (and the responses to them). Cannot make up my mind as to whether this company is legit or not. However, like many others, I ordered a console back in August and have yet to receive anything. I have no issue waiting for something but what I object to is the lack of communication and in particular not responding to emails/messages despite their website claims of "excellent customer services". A refund will be requested but I am not holding my breath. Approach with care people.

Was told my refund would be in my account in 7-10 working days it's now beyond that - was also advised by them that I could not request it back via my bank.

Actual wording -
Me : is it easier for me to reclaim the money from my bank
You : you cant as it's essentially like paying with cash when you make a bank transfer.

Stop lying or this is going to court.

AVOID!!!

Please please do not give these scammers your money! No reputable company operates on just bank transfers. Because all other legitimate payment companies have washed their hands of these cowboys.
Ordered fictitious console on 20th August. Waited 6 weeks and still no console. Requested refund and now it's been 6 weeks and still no refund. Poor excuse after poor excuse why I can't have my money now being ignored by 'Dave'

Placed my order for a Superior Consul on the 7th Aug. Have had a ton of excuses for the delays ever since. And it’s always me doing the chasing. And now I’m finding out on here that some people have apparently received there Superior Consul, having placed there order a month after my order?

I was scammed out of £135 pounds

I was scammed out of £135 pounds, I received nothing and was told to claim it back through my bank.
It is not a legitimate company i was told it was delayed innumerable times, then just cutoff when I asked for a refund.
Absolute disgrace.

You were never scammed, you are on the backlog list for a refund as opposed to getting the console, currently 19th. I will be in touch within 3 weeks roughly for details to send back to you as our backlog is now clearing quicker. You were asked as were many to create a chargeback months ago... that is because you would receive the money back and I would be in debt but I can pay that off slowly without leaving any of you waiting. Many chose not too and I see you didn't either but as above the money will be back when I reach your position.

I have to prioritse the person in 1st as its an older order.
